Point Prim

This is a very cozy oceanfront lookout. I would be here all of the time if I didn't live 20 hours away. Restroom facility and plenty of relaxing areas.

Such a beautiful location! Highly recommend going to see it. It's not difficult to walk to and up to you if you want to go down on the rocks, so relatively accessible. We saw a seal in the water when we were there. It was only a 10-minute drive from Digby, so not far out of the way.

A nice little spot to get your head right, relax on one of the viewpoint benches and enjoy the salt air! Beautiful

If you enjoy rugged beauty, you will love Point Prim. Plan to spend the day and enjoy the scenery and the history.

We never thought that we will get an opportunity to watch sunset. Right on time at the right place.

Great view even from inside the vehicle on a lightly foggy day. Free Wifi from the lighthouse was a surprise/delight, watched the waves and walked the dog as a great way to pass some time awaiting the Digby to SJ ferry.

Beautiful lighthouse with great views of the Bay of Fundy. It is a very easy walk to the lighthouse but there is also the rocky coast to climb/walk on for the more adventurous. Especially fun to do this in low tide.

Point Prim in Digby NS, is a beautiful viewing point to watch ferry crossing, great sunset, walks, etc, and TK enjoy the lake water. Recommend to others visiting Digby NS.

Excellent place to visit and get some great pictures any time of the year. UST be careful walking near the cliffs but you can get down to the water as well.

The lighthouse is only a short drive from Digby, and is totally worth it to visit. There is a gravel parking lot to the side of the dead end street, though I have seen a car park at the end. There is a short hike to the lighthouse and the rocky shoreline. Great place to see the tides come in.

Beautiful views of rare volcanic rock formations, freshly painted lighthouse and tidal pools full of critters! Nice and private feeling, not busy at all. The silence accents the gorgeous landscape, would recommend for a visit if your in Digby!

We visited the historical Point Prim Lighthouse. It was a sunny day. The bay was calm and the wind was light. The lighthouse itself was not open to the public but surprise, they provided free wi-fi for visitors in the vicinity. There was no public restroom so people had to find somewhere to relieve themselves.

Beautiful peaceful place. In the summer season a woman plays the bagpipes at the setting of the sun.

One of the best spots after Peggy’s Cove. Simple beautiful and serene. Love the location. Totally recommend it.

It was an amazing point to see sunset and to view bay of Fundy. We found an sharks egg that is out of the water and nothing in it.

The landscape here is a dream for geologists and is truly breathtaking. Some of the most amazing rock outcrops I have ever seen. You can see rocks that used to be lava that have formed into columns. The lighthouse is beautiful and still intact, and the trail is wonderful. Definitely a place not to be missed.

Absolutely beautiful location. Very interesting history well explained through signage. Great parking and easy short trails to access the site. Close to Digby and well worth a visit.

Digby is a beautiful place with countless coves and delicious food and the friendliest people. Can't wait to go back next summer.

Gorgeous! Tranquil! Would have loved to hear the fog horn though, fog so thick tlya can't dent it with a nine iron but no fog horn, only the light?

Beautiful place to visit. Highly recommended you visit during low tide during the day - stunning views of the cliffs and tidal pools. Take a picnic with you and enjoy it on one of the picnic tables. Also visit later at night - sounds of the water crashing into shore, beautiful starlight night sky over Bay of Fundy. If you are lucky you may even get a light show from a thunderstorm moving in the distance.

It is a beautiful piece of history for Digby. Wonderful views of Bay of Fundy, and occasionally whales and seals.

I love that volunteer groups have stepped up all over Nova Scotia to preserve these beautiful structures.

Soft, warm sea breezes and stunning sunsets make this an ideal picnic location. We really appreciate the new picnic tables, bench and the many other improvements that have been made to this park.

Beautiful place! Easy to access and only minutes from the town of Digby. Plenty of parking and easy walking trails surrounding a gorgeous, well-maintained lighthouse perched atop a cliff with a commanding view. Lots of photo opportunities to be had here! Great place to bring a picnic and enjoy with the whole family!
