Polly Cove Hiking Trail

Wonderful area for a walk, though few marked paths make navigation something to focus on. Limited parking and signage also suggests you will not see a crowd if you take a walk around the area!

Great short hike to a great view from what seems like the foundation of an old building. There are some trails that go from here that lead to other parts of the cove and views of the ocean which are more steep and narrow.

The trail head is accurate to maps but there are no parking, just parking on the side of the road.

Incredible views, a must see! I enjoyed it more than Peggy’s cove lighthouse. The trail is very short, around 10min, but you need to take a left almost and the end for the real deal where you are going to find the rocks and open views. You can end up spending hours exploring the area. For parking if you pass the trail a little bit you are able to find more parking spaces at the road side

Better then expected! There are a lot of trails and two loop options. We used the free All Trails app to view the trail map and see our location via gps. We hiked in October and the low shrubs had changed red, beautiful. Photos don’t capture the beauty of this place.

Amazing scenery and ocean view. Great hiking trail. Prepare to spend 2-3 hours there. No washroom. Bring sunscreen or a hat on a sunny day. Prepare water/snack if you intend to stay longer.

When it gets too hot in the city, or inland in general, Polly Cove will get you about 8 to 10 degrees (celsius) cooler. Great views.

Awesome ocean view hike, pretty easy to go threw, a bit rocky in places otherwise not bad at all.

Great little trek round multiple pathways, amazing views out over the water. Peggy's cove lighthouse can be seen in the distance, and only a short drive away.

Simply beautiful. Where runners as the terrain is not flat. Dogs run off leash. Stunning view of Peggy's Cove. Lots of trails and can make your own.

Nice easy trail to hike along, and a fantastic view of the ocean at the end. There is a nice view along the way as well of the surrounding area. At the end is an old foundation for a building, and a geocache as well.

Some rough terrain and crudely defined trails, but a must do in the areas to discover the rocky shore.

Coming in from the road: some steep trails to the left, mostly flat trails to the right. Boulders with ocean views everywhere.

This is a little hiking trail located just a little ways away from Peggy's Cove. The surrounding landscape is fascinating, and the scenic view of the ocean is beautiful.

L'endroit est magnifique et il vaut la peine d'aller y marcher. Il est dommage qu'il soit si mal affiché. Nous nous y sommes arrêtés par hasard en voyant des voitures stationnées, mais aucune pancarte indiquait le sentier. Le paysage est semblable à celui que l'on peut observer au phare de Peggys Cove, mais est beaucoup moins achalandé. Photographe amateurs ou professionnels, à vos kodaks! ;)

So glad we stopped to check out this hiking trail. Wish we had more time to really explore our next road trip will include more time

Great trail with so many off the beaten path options! Easy to moderate, but shoes definitely recommended.

This trail is beautiful! Light traffic, good parking stops and several side trails to explore. Dedicated recommend!

It's gorgeous every year, every season. I love the option of going out on the barrens or through the woods and down to a coastal walk. I'm always pleased that people are so mindful to pack out what they pack in.

Went here with a friend and my dog, amazing trail if you want to see Peggys cove with less traffic and tourists!

About a minute’s drive east of Peggy’s Cove, just park your car and it’s about a 10 min walk to the ocean. We were here in Oct and the ground shrubs were all red which made for a real interesting landscape. A must stop while visiting Peggy!

Incredible hike on the rocks! Just had to be careful to keep the dogs away from the high edges. Can spend hours walking around here.

Wonderful hiking and spectacular views, not too difficult, some sections narrow and strap but easy to navigate because it is so open.

A great shore coastal trail, near Peggy's Cove with great views. The well established trail leads to an old (WW2?) cement foundation. Below the foundation, the trail is not as wide and braided, but leads to the cove area. Lots of trails, interesting rock features and coastal plants to explore. Peggy's Cove is visible to the West.

The hike and views are spectacular. The parking lot, or lack there of kept this from getting a 5 star reveiw

Awesome trail, similar to Peggy's Cove but with more vegetation. Beautiful views, and there's even a small cave you can climb through to get to the top of a cliff. Pretty cool!

What a fantastic trail! It really is flat and wide open, with more gorgeous views than you can imagine! You can continue walking past the end of this trail onto larger boulders along the Oceanside. Similar to a Peggy's Cove experience, only much more private and with more vegetation and plant life on the rock faces!

Good oceanic trail. However, there isno trail map so we weren't sure if we did the whole trail. The trail also has no marker. So we did what we thought was the trail. It took about an hour.

Short trail with entrance just west of small parking area. It goes to the remains of the some building. It is fairly easy to get to this point and you can get pretty good view around. Then trail goes down and become a little more tricky. It will be very slippery in wet weather. Be careful. We made it to the shore and stopped. There is few small side trails as well but we didn't explore them.

Absolutely Beautiful place for a hike. Despite there being some other hikers around it felt like we were far away from everyone due to the vast amount of places to explore. Cannot wait to go back and explore more all while having a beautiful view of the ocean.

It had nice views somewhat challenging terrain. Secluded and with few people. Nice view of Peggy's Cove in the distance.

Very nice trail, beautiful views. You can even make your own trail if you want to and explore all around. Way less people here than at Peggy's Cove. You might even see the lighthouse if it is not foggy!

Best hiking trail I have been on in a long time, The views are spectacular, I could spend hours there.
