Porters Peak Adventure Getaway

A group of girlfriends and I headed down to Porters Peak for a weekend and stayed in the safari tents. It was the perfect weekend girls getaway in nature! We loved paddling around the lake, sitting around the fire and walking around the beautiful property. The beds were so comfy and cozy and the tents and outdoor kitchen was very well equipped. We headed to the peak for sunset and enjoyed the expansive view. I really recommend heading out of the city for a nature escape at PP! Such a great way to recharge and spend quality time with friends and family!

Incredibly well stocked! Has all the amenities you need for an easy camping weekend. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious trip into the woods.

Very nice place. We loved the cabin and the surrounding. Can't wait to see the full site when they are done with its construction. It is already pretty amazing.

Porters Peak was an amazing experience. The setting is gorgeous and the Porters Peak team was fantastic. They made us feel welcome and were available any time we needed anything.

Everything about this place is amazing! Beautiful commute to get there! Very private & peaceful. Our tent was very clean & cozy. The beds are so cozy they make you forget your camping! This was my first time camping with 2 young kids, and Porters Peak really helped us make it a beautiful memorable experience. We will most definitely be back!

We had a wonderful night in one of the Glamping tents! Our campsite was private, close to the lake, and had everything we needed for our stay.

There were paddleboards to use and a games area to keep us busy. In the evening we were able to have a cozy fire right by the lake. It was definitely the most fun and comfortable camping experience I’ve had and I can’t wait to come back again sometime:)

Everything about it was a treat, I camped in comfort with a real bed in a stunning tent that included a wood stove for added warmth and comfort. Silence and stars and no cell service (except from the big rock just before the accommodations). It was perfect. I’ll be back!

Some friends and I had the opportunity to visit the Peak for a great day of ATV’ing and stayed over night. We had brought our own 4wheelers and a guide from the peak took us on some great trails and exploring for hours.

Our friends had a cabin, and we stayed in one of their tents and couldn’t say anything but great things about the set up, the instructions, and of course the views!

We found out that they rent 4wheelers on site so if you were looking to do something like this and don’t have your own they have those options as well!

Beautiful location with a fantastic getaway vibe. The finishing touches are fantastic and the care put into everything is very apparent. Nice lake and lake amenities (sup boards, floaties, etc.) and really cool canvas tents. Comfy stay and a great experience for anyone wanting to escape the city. Would highly recommend!

FANTASTIC just what I needed ️. I stayed in the "Free Spirited" bell tent. It was so beautifully decorated, nice breeze flowed though making for a very comfortable sleep. Everything you need was provided including quality linens, a bbq and 2 propane cook tops, dishes, pots and pans and water. We had a private beautiful path to the water where we could sit at night and gaze at the stars specular view. I will definitely be recommending Porter's Peak to all my family and friends. Can't wait to come back and try the cabins or geothermal domes coming in the fall. This is my new getaway spot.

This is a great new spot for a little wilderness getaway! If you're like me and you like the idea of camping but you don't like the work and discomfort that often goes into camping, check out Porter's Peak! The getaway tents have their own beds, couch, dishes, boardgames, a cooking area (with dishes and utensils), a BBQ, a nearby porta-potty with a sink inside and it's right on a lake that has paddle boards that are available for guests to use! And a giant floaty unicorn to chill out on! The sites are all well-spaced allowing you lots of privacy. We definitely plan to return to Porter's Peak as this is a new business that is already expanding and soon will offer accomodations in cabins and geodomes! A beautiful, comfortable, convenient spot for a little woodsy getaway for couples, friends and families!
