What a wonderful experience with Marc and Cindy at Portland St Honda. I was in an accident a little over a month ago and I haven’t had an easy time dealing with it all. Buying the 2022 Honda Ridgeline from Portland Street Honda was a great experience, a decision my husband and I do not regret. After having gone from one car dealership to another, we bought this truck even though the car was unavailable for a test drive back in March. Sitting in the Ridgeline made us feel at home right away and driving it makes us feel like a king on every road we take.

Our sales person was Jan Shane Torres who was fun and very helpful during the whole buying process. We highly recommend him to any potential customer.

Not even worthy of one star in my oppinion, I went thete yesterday to get an appraisal on my truck and get info on ordering a bran new SI. I asked for the price on them she didn't even give me it didn't talk numbers didn't even try to get my busniess, she was short and her attitude was ignorant and arrogant. Her reply to me when I was trying to get deals and numbers that fit my budget was. " There won't be any going back and forth here" I was completly blown away she walked away to do the appraisal on my truck I looked at my buddy picked up my phone called colonial Honda on robie st in Halifax and said do the deal ill buy your car. She came back called me later with a trade value $5000 less than Colonel Honda. DO NOT RECCOMEND this dealer they also have NOTHING on their lot. The sales person I delt with was names Jessica (Jess) completely ruined my experience at that place and I wouldn't even spit on their asphalt after it.

Staff were polite and very helpful and Mike Lewis, the salesman that looked after me, was knowledgeableand very accommodating in the middle of pandemic. After purchasing a new HRV there were the usual check-ins to make sure things were going well. After having driven Acuras for 30 years I was in the market for an SUV and liking smaller vehicles I found that Acura didn't have an SUV in the size class I wanted. So far the HRV seems to offer a very similar driving experience to my Acuras with an acceptable level of tech toys and interior appointments.

Worst place ever visited! Manager was rude instead of fixing the issue ask me to go to another dealership!

Had a great experience going through the process of leasing my first brand new car, as a young adult (23) this kind of thing can be very nerve racking but everyone I dealt with at the dealership was very open and honest and never pushed to get me into something I wasn't looking for. The dealership itself can be a little intimidating upon first glance just because of its sheer size but the staff are very quick to do their best at finding the best solution for your needs, even going through all the upsides and downsides of the products they offer which is really refreshing to see in the auto industry!

This is not just a car dealership. Went for a service check today. While I waited I had access to free bottled water, comfortable seating, wifi, power supplies for my devices, TVs with news, sports and life channel. Very clean. Got a lot done. Not often a car appointment can be comfortable, easy and productive!

I would seriously give it a 0 now if I could. Until today I thought this was the best dealership in Halifax/Dartmouth. I had gone in and asked for an estimate to fix a piece on my passenger mirror and they said it should be less than $200. I book the appointment and go in the next Saturday. I get there and they tell me they ordered the wrong piece and it will be over $400. I get them to look to see if somewhere else has it, they don't and then tell me the technician looked at it incorrectly and the $400 piece was actually over $700and I have to come back the next week.

In August 2019, I was looking for a Honda Civic Coupe. The salesman didn't devote much of his time for me in offering me what I wanted and the dealer didn't have what I wanted on the lot. It seemed that the salesmen that I interacted with was very preoccupied with other customers and didn't really want my business. Thus, I took my business elsewhere to Colonial Honda where I got much better service and I was able to get a good deal on the vehicle that I was looking for.

The most arrogant and misbehaving service staff I have ever seen, I have the Honda plus fof 8 years warranty they dont want to cover. I would avoid serving at Portland street honda on Baker Drive. I feel there is a lack of proper supervision by the service manager.

I have always had very positive interactions at this place! The seem to empower their sales rep so there is not a lot of “I need to talk to my manager” going on. I really appreciate that. The place is nicely appointed and offers a number of additional amenities you may not expect! I have had at least 2 good meals here! (Not quite as good as the filling station food across the road though! But that’s for another review)

Last year on May 19,2018 I purchased a car FOB battery Honda # 72148-S84-A10 (generic # CR2025) was made by Maxell and was told over the phone that they are very good quality. Well yesterday March 20,2019 the battery died, it only lasted 10 months, usually from my experience FOB batteries be CR2025 or CR2032 ALWAYS lasted 10 years or so.

So yesterday I purchased another one from Portland St Honda and this one is made by Panasonic, I hope this one is a fresh batch as all batteries have a shelf life.

The staff are great. Had a very good experience while buying our car. They have great support after as well. Always feel like I can contact Mike Lewis whenever I have issues.

When you need maintenance done for your vehicle, they have a great waiting area. Free coffee. Helps a lot. Even have a spa.

Terrible service by the Service Department. Had a scheduled appointment and when I arrived I was told "we're too backed up" and was told to come back another day. No care for my time at all. No effort made to notify me before I took time out of my day to get there to have the service completed and no effort whatsoever to make it up to me in any way. An absolutely disappointing way to run a business.

Excellent. We live closer to Colonial Honda, but we choose to travel to Portland Street Honda for our servicing. Doing so is worth the effort. The dealership is focussed on the customer experience and customer satisfaction.
