Best Public Beach in Nova Scotia reviews

Lovely afternoon on the beach. Ice cream shop across the street and fresh oysters at Emile's just 5 minutes down the road.

Great beach for jumping waves. Returned for the sandcastle festival. We'll organized as always.

Beautiful beach, but could use a good clean-up. Dissapointing to see broken boardwalks and huge pot holes in parking lots.

The new pathway is wonderful, you stare at the open water as soon as you're on the board walk. However, for it being the middle of August and in the afternoon of multiple days with heat warnings, the was was ice cold. Don't get me wrong, I know...

Wonderful beach, but the Provincial Park service needs to improve the 2 foot paths to access the beach.

Very nice well kept Provincial park with large parking lot, picnic tables, washrooms, fields and access to a nice beach with a view of PEI.

Awesome beach, the campsites were really nice. It has however gotten a little bit more RV orientated over the years.

The beach is not swimmable, and is in pretty bad shape after the flood last month. The splashpad was ok, but there are some broken parts. The slide on the larger playground structure was broken.

Beautiful spot.the lake is wheelchair accessible. However, to get to the lake, the path is gravel and quite the hill.
There is no playground, no restroom, no picnic tables. On leash dog friendly.

The grandchildren had fun diving in the water playing in the sand it was great for tham to cool off it was a great place to be on a hot summer day
