We were contacted by another company at our door with regards to Attic inspection. We decided to take them up on the free inspection. They indicated that there was substantial mold throughout the attic including the blown in insulation. They gave us a quote for the mold removal and to replace the insulation and bring the insulation upto R60 code. The quote was very high and we were told quote was basically sign now to get that price. We were leary and asked for more time to research so they gave us 48 hours. We reached out to 3 companies, one reached out and then didn't follow up, never heard from the second company, but heard back from Rainbow Restoration the same day we contacted their on-line site on Monday Jan 23. Harold from Rainbow called me back the same day and came over a few hours later. I explained about the other inspection. He was very friendly, straight forward, honest and personable. He inspected the attic and advised there was a fair amount of mold and some on the insulation, but said the treatment would take care of the mold on everything and that there was more than enough insulation in the attic and the insulation did not need to be replaced or built up. Harold provided a quote that was substantially lower. They were able to do the work the same week, on Thursday, between 9 and 9: 30 am. CJ and Scott came over today at 9: 15 am. They were extremely friendly, professional, efficient and done in a lttle over an hour. The before and after pictures were amazing. Extremely satisfied and so relieved to get rid of the mold so quickly for the sake of our health and the integrity of the roof. They even gave us some advice on treating a little mold in the bathroom. I would highly recommend them 100%.
