We were there for the Atlantic Symphony Orchestra this time. Watched the facility being built in the early 1970s and have been there countless times for many events since.

Daka Braka was the best performance I've seen in my 70 years, and there are no bad seats at the Cohn.

Great venue for mid size performances. Comfortable seating, Not much parking in the immediate area though.

I have been to tons of showes at this venue over the decades. The only negative experiences that I have had are due to other people at the show, large hats, perfume etc.
The interior is beautiful and unique. The acoustics are great! And the seating has always been acceptable. It has a large enough seating capacity to bring in larger artists not to mention the symphony

Nice experience. Great room for comedy. Seats are comfortable and wide. Did not feel crammed at all.

Great sound and the chairs are not even comfortable enough to watch a 2 hour show without any problems. The bar is good. Just parking is a little difficult.

Seats are uncomfortable, and all evidence in the walls are covered in dust and webs. Sound is still awesome though.

Great venue and stage, but the building lobby and reception is very tired looking, and the signage outside the building is poor: unclear which doors to you, no direction to box office, which is set deep into the wall.

Just love this venue. It's a great space for many many types of shows. The staff/ushers are always too notch to deal with. Recommend if you've never been here to take in a show so you can experience what I experienced.

Attended the Wiggles concert here with my kiddo. Staff are organized and friendly, concert hall is relatively small & intimate but nice & not too overwhelming for kids. Great show! Would recommend arriving early for daytime concerts as parking was hard to find.

First time here and was 4th row to see Steve Vai. Everything was amazing. The sound the lighting the crowd.

Halifax's best venue for performance as it has excellent acoustics. Always a pleasure to experience artists at the Arts Centre. Steve Vai was incredible!

Wonderful auditorium! First time there to experience a graduation. Being on stage gave and even better perspective of how beautiful the place is. Be aware that parking can be a challenge for larger events. Many photo (PhotographingInTheMoment) opportunities as well. Enjoy!

Great auditorium. My friend and I went to see the Abba show and we loved it. We had a great seat as well.

Great sounding venue. I saw Colin James there. I walked in and stood in the one and only line to grab a beer. Waited and waited. Finally got my beer and as I waited in the next line to go through the door to my seat I saw people chugging thier beers. Nobody was allowed in with them. A very unprofessional setup and very insulting. As well we were told that if we didn't hurry up and chug the overpriced beer we wouldnt be allowed in

Beautiful auditorium. Perfect for any performance. I went a few times for ballet and dance recital. I love it.

Amazing place to go and watch a show and amazing first time going to see my oldest daughters dance recital for Halifax dance. It was beautiful emotional and just overall an awesome experience and highly recommend

Cancelled a show 5 days before the date, that they booked 5 months earlier. Cited unforeseen circumstances which turned out to be the fact they didn’t do their due diligence on booking and disagreed with the content of the show. Completely unprofessional and dishonest.

Landmark venue. Great acoustics. Good sized seats and plenty of legroom. Nice amenities, bathrooms, bar and a nice lobby to hang out in. Fabulous shows. Perfect size for an intimate rock show.

Canceling a show 3-4 days before the show isn't right! Letting the show find a new venue in that short of time is just plain rude! If you weren't ok with the shows content, you shouldn't have booked them in the first place!
