Reid Optometry

First time eye exam at this clinic conducted by Dr. Robertson. Complete and thorough eye exam. Very professional and easy to follow explanation of the process and findings. Discovered that my current glasses obtained from another provider were not appropriate for my needs, just an ‘FYI’, I would highly recommend Reid optometry.

My husband and I have Dr. Emily Smith as our doctor. We are very impressed with her. Takes her time and explains everything. She is awesome. Plus your receptionists are so kind and helpful. We are so glad that we found out about Reid Optometry. Thank you so much for the excellent care all around.

Dr. Robertson is my and my wifes optometrist. He's excellent! Professional, knowledgable, good sense of humour, and he takes ample time to explain test reults (xrays, eye testing, current eye health, any notable changes, and any questions).

I have been visiting an optometrist since I was 14 years old and at the age of 75 I was amazed and appalled by the state of the art diagnostic equipment, professionalism, consideration, and thoroughness of the Wonderful Doctors and their entire staff! I had seen another optometrist in May at ——————- - who prescribed glasses and gave me a referral to an ophthalmologist here in Truro for Laser treatment. After laser treatment 1 month later my vision had changed & I needed glasses again. No refund was availed at the former optometrist only a low discount! Financially $800 was a huge loss! I had experiences severe pain in one eye shortly before I saw the optometrist at Walmart Opt. A friend suggested Reid Optometry. Wow! During my appointment and exams! I was told that I had a previous bleed in the eye where I had severe pain, it was healing well with some scar tissue. I was prescribed new lens by Dr. Reid thankfully. I highly recommend Reid’s Optometry! Thank you again!

Had two eye examinations here. Dr. Reid picked up on an eye infection I didn't realize I had, as well as correcting a prescription from a different clinic. What really impressed me is how he took the time to explain the structure of my eye as it related to common degenerative conditions, without going over my head nor reducing it to lay terms.

Found myself in a bad situation although I was not a patient was given quick professional care. Thank you You will see me on a regular basis for eye care in future. Ps my eye looks and feels much better today Doug Roberts
