Ren's Pets Dartmouth

Ren's is always my first stop because the staff at this location truly care about the well-being of the animals. They've gone above and beyond to assist with any issue I've brought in. Someone once helped me carry bags out to my car. Just good, kind people.

Absolutely love their food variety, with an array of grain and grain-free food, canadian companies and amazing sales. Plus the staff are always friendly and welcoming.

Not cheap but they carry a nice variety of brands, very good stock levels, and the staff are very nice. I’ve had to return a couple items and never had an issue with that either.

Their food loyalty program is a cool idea, but I’ve now found myself in limbo having had to change brands a few times (diet change or pet death) and now can’t redeem or transfer my “credits”.

Great store, lots of items. Very clean and bright. Staff acknowledged me when I entered and offered to help me find anything. I went in to buy some cat food, and left with more toys then food. They offer more healthy brands which is wonderful but I have a fussy cat who will only eat the wet food fancy feast. How do I know? Spent money on what I thought was good food and she turned her nose up at everything.

After 5 days without power due to the hurricane Fiona I got to go out to get supplies. I thought I'd get a toy on sale till the 28th for our 3 month golden retriever. I had looked online & was going to go in the 28th but the power went out again. I went in today the 29th, the sale tag was still there so I asked if I could get it at the sale price after all the positive reviews would indicate how nice the staff that works there is. No way they said I said OK I'll just buy this other toy I picked out. I was told that's not on sale either! I said I know I'll just take this one. It seemed to put the person out of sorts that I wouldn't buy that other one at the regular price. When I signed up at Ren's the first day I stood behind a gentleman who I thought was in line to the checkout I was told I was in the wrong place for a lineup but he was asked if they could help him.

Good store with lots of selection. The staff however were unhelpful and not friendly. Any questions or requests were met with a rude attitude.

Lots of good options for food and all other pet supplies. Alot of good qualty brands and value choices to.very friendly staff and of course pet friendly.

Regular prices were very good and the sales were 30 to 50 percent. Also staff were friendly and helpful.

With our new golden family member coming next weekend we were here twice in the last 2 days. The staff approached us both days and made the task easier. They were super friendly and helpful and assisted us in making great purchases for our puppy. I can honestly say the staff went out of their way both days and we feel good about every product we bought. Their knowledge and friendly customer service is what set's them apart. Great selection and they had the higher end products we were looking for. This is definitely our new pet store!

I find they have great selection of clothing, food, toys and beds. I just realized they sell raw food which is great.prices seem a bit more on first glance but they say they price match so all in all a great pet store!

I have found my forever pet store. The staff here are actually trained on the products. There is a proper selection of both dog and cat foods, and raw food is heavily promoted.

This is a must try for pet owners.

I love taking a drive out to Ren's because they always have the coolest products. Especially their collars - they're adorable! The only downside is that they tend to be a little pricier than their competitors, but that comes with the territory of unique, quality stuff!

I enjoyed coming here. The staff were able to tell me about different food products with knowledge. Very friendly. BIG difference then PerSmart where staff knew pretty much nothing about food products they were selling in their store. Really enjoyed my experience at Ren’s!

I was hoping there would be more selections for cat harnesses! We left without purchasing anything this time.

It really smelled bad when I was in too. Through my mask, it reeked like dog pee everywhere. Was not a pleasure.

When asking about a product the girl side i don't know anything about it! When asked if their would be someone who could she jist shrugged and said no so we left. Staff should know the products they sell

New and clean and refreshing place to get your pet supplies. Very friendly and efficient staff.

Lotsa products. Lotsa sales and deals when you sign up online. Nice store, very friendly staff. Largest assortment of pet products in 1 store I have ever seen.

Meh, just more of the same, not even a lot of selection at all. I was looking for pet beds but they didn't even have close to what I was looking for and not the most helpful nor caring staff. Feels like cold, big n boring retail with zero passiaboand only little about pets.
Also low selection of collars, leashes or harnesses. I'm personally not happy since there are many awful prong n choke chains which are outdated and old school things, banned in many countries. So won't support that store.

I went in looking to see if they sell puppies. They don't. But staff was so friendly and gave me lots of info on where and how to start looking for a dog. I will definitely be going there for all my dog needs when I get one.
