Permanent pizza eating spot for me and my friends had amazing experience with tasty flavours. Service is really appreciated and I recommend all to visit here.

Friend and I came in for brunch around 2pm on a Sunday. We we're given a friendly greeting and my friend asked about a fruit like bowl by the front bar. Waitress told us about it and we ordered some, and it was very light and refreshing. I ordered the benny, since the Philly steak sandwich was a special, they don't always have. My friend ordered a full breakfast of sausage, eggs, toast, beans and other stuff.
The place was going steady, for a late Sunday brunch, and we waited maybe 30 minutes or more before we began to wonder. My friend checked in and they said it takes about 30-40 minutes; I guess they just have the one cook on some quieter days, and it has to do with different food components and how it's cooked up. Must take longer that way with one person. So while you can be waiting a fair while, the food is often amazing. My roast potatoes were so hot I had to let them cool. The hollandaise sauce was very nice. My friends sausage had a very fresh fennel flavor that made her happy right away.
I would recommend this place, as the food is always amazing.

Well, to say this place was a disappointment would be an understatement. I've been following Rinaldo's on social media for a long time. I don't live in the area, so I never got around to going until tonight. From start to finish, this experience was awful.

We were a table of 3, excited to enjoy a nice atmosphere and good food. We had reservations, so when we arrived we did not expect to wait 10 minutes to even be acknowledged. When someone finally looked at us standing there, we were hesitantly sat at the world's most wobbly table. So much so, that any small movements would spill our drinks.

We asked to be seated elsewhere when we saw another party had left. The server brought water over, and we asked for 3 sodas. 15 mins later, our drinks arrived and we were able to order our meals. We placed our order, and 1 hour and 15 mins later our food finally arrived. In that time, we had finished all our waters, and sodas. The server walked by our table MULTIPLE times and didn't offer any drinks, nor acknowledged our existence at all.

Garlic fingers were ice cold. One chicken sandwich was hot, the other was lukewarm at best. As far as taste goes, all the food was just okay. Definitely NOT worth an hour and 15 min wait.

The awful and rude service was what truly ruined this experience. This was the worst service that any of us have ever experienced. Our server was rude, inattentive, and seemed overall miserable. Really disappointed all around, and we could not wait to leave. Delicious looking food pictures on social media is not a reflection of the experience we had. Will not be returning.

I really, really wanted to enjoy my visit here. However, the wait from the time we placed our order with the server to the time it eventually came out was close to an hour and twenty minutes. That’s a long time and wouldn’t have been nearly as bad if the server hadn’t been as aggressively impolite. In the end, the food was mediocre at best - some overcooked pasta with lukewarm sauce poured on top; the server was antagonistic and snippy and got worse as the time went on - the place didn’t seem to be full as there were at least three empty tables in a room that isn’t all that large.

This was such a terrible experience, and I really wanted to like this place. But, it was a few years ago… 2019, I think. I hope things are better and from all the reviews it sounds like our experience was the exception and not the rule.

We had dinner there tonight, April 22nd, 2023, for the first time. We asked for Gnocchi to be on the menu when we made our reservations last week, and they did not disappoint us! Wow, is all I can say! The homemade Ricotta Gnocchi was amazing! We will be back! Thank you!

Bustling place on a Sunday evening. Sat at the bar as all tables were full. Main server behind the bar was a complete ditz. Couldn't make change with customers, forgot to enter orders, gave a delivery person the wrong order (seemingly on purpose), ignored the one person sitting at the bar in front of her. Other servers were pleasant and run off their feet. Food was ok. Eggplant parmesan was overcooked and a bit chewy. Caesar salad was quite good. Would go again and try the pizza next time as it looked good.

They said takeout would be ready in 25 minutes. Come in 30 minutes later and pay.then realize they haven't started making the food yet. Best to avoid this place for takeout if you are in any kind of rush. Still waiting.

First time going for dinner. The place, I guess the floors and tables stinks as when are wiped down with dirty cloths. Plates were were wet and had food residues.were just taken out from the dishwasher I believed.pizza was hard and just sauce and a tiny pieces of bacon hard to find.probably their pasta is their best as are always busy.

Incredible Italian food. Try the chicken parmigiana it's the best in Halifax. If going, I'd recommend making reservations through their website to eliminate wait times.

Honestly, I really don't know what the big fuss is. Their "Sunday Gravy" is 24$ and tastes like a repurposed pizza sauce with shredded bacon bits from Costco tossed in. So gross.

Your go to place for Italian food. The chicken and egg plant parm are second to none here. Definitely will visit again

We have been going here since it opened, the pizza initially was incredible, great toppings and yummy sesame seed crust. We have noticed tho that each time we have a pizza the last 3 visits - whether take out or in house, the pizza is often over cooked and the toppings are scant. Unless things improve we probably won’t be back.

I was in the mood for pasta so I came here tonight. The food was amazing. I ordered the cauliflower and vegan pasta and it was prepared to perfection. Do yourself a favor and come here if you want a culinary delight. The chef is brilliant!

Mandy our server was sweet, efficient and knowledgeable! The food was fabulous! Fresh and made from scratch. We will definitely be visiting again during our trip!

The food is next level. Best brunch in the city hands down. Establishment is small and cozy. Go early to get a spot. This is my happy place.

One of my go to places for takeout. The pizza is exactly what I want and the heroes hit the spot.

Our server was wonderful to begin with.
I wish I could describe how good our pizzas were, trust me, just go there and eat one.
It was not an easy choice of which to choose. The dough was definitely the star, the toppings were delicious, in a very quaint, romantic, when the lights got dimmed ambiance.
We will be back for sure.

We are from Montréal and just picked up a pizza from Rinaldo’s as the place is around the corner from our AirBnB. It was amazing! Don’t hesitate. Lovely quick service on a Saturday night.

Some of the best authentic Italian American Pizza in town! A must go! Very unique pizzas and super fresh and piping hot. Great staff and warm environment! Always love getting calls to deliver for you guys ;) cheers.

Have had many great experiences here and last night’s was no exception. Service was outstanding as well as the food. Can’t wait to get back again soon!

I was really looking forward to eating here and made sure to skip lunch, but unfortunately was disappointed. The food and beer were good enough, but after getting our first drink we waited for almost an hour before getting food, and were more or less ignored by the wait staff during that time. The place was not particularly busy at the time so not sure why that happened. Not sure I would risk again, especially not if I was hungry.

I had a amazing experience at rinaldo's Windsor both with service and food, the service alone made me want to stay longer, with friendly quick service from the servers I felt joy and happiness and then I got served the food, omg Absolutely delicious the pizza was absolutely perfect and the spicy coliflower I just couldn't get enough of, not to mention when i finally took my girlfriend there to eat she absolutely loved it as well, so if you have not gotten the chance to eat there or it's your first time hearing about rinaldo's Windsor the I 100% recommend it!

Love the Italian thin crust pizzas and the best Chicken Parm Heroe which melts deliciously in your mouth. The best pizza and service ever!

Just came back again week later had the pizza n garlic fingers was delicious and will be back regularly

Haven't had a bad experience in a while, but I definitely did here.

Waited 1 hour and 30 minutes for our food. People came, ate and left, all while we never even seen our food. Was never checked on after we ordered, back door was open and it was very cold. Every food item on the menu except pizza was unavailable to order due to it being burger week. Sad because half of us didn't want either of them.

After talking with the staff multiple times, we finally got our food and the pizza looked. Sad. I don't know if this is what the Classic pizza is supposed to be like, but it was pretty awful. At least their burger was decent.

Will never go back or recommend this place again.

Got the chopped hero sub yesterday. Was told an hour before it was ready. When I showed up payed $17 for a Luke warm soggy sandwich with a litre of sauce wrapped in the tinfoil. First and last time I go back.

Amazing food, and great staff and service. Food was taking a little longer than usual and they even gave me a free drink because it was very busy. Can’t say enough how great the food and great the service is.

Can't say I'm a fan of a restaurant saying they're open until 9 but shut down the kitchen well before that.

The meatball hero sandwich is so good. The olives that they put on this sandwich make this such a unique and flavourful sandwich. One of the best sandwiches you can find in Halifax.

I ordered a couple of pies for takeout. The classic and the meatball hero. Pizza was ready when specified. Both looked nice and cut for 8 slices to a pie. Thin crust. Nice balance of ingredients, the meatball was not overloaded with meat but tasted great. Standard size 15". We had a lot of leftovers and they reheated nicely.

The food wasn't exceptional and we had to wait about 30-45 minutes to get it. For the price I'm not sure they're worth it.

This is my favourite Italian place in Halifax. Handmade pasta has great flavour. Everything I’ve gotten here has been super good, and they’re consistent too. Servers are always really friendly. Could maybe upgrade the atmosphere of the restaurant but besides that I wouldn’t change a thing.

Went there for Valentine’s Day supper with my wife. I ordered a pizza which took over an hour to come to our table. When it did come and my wife had a piece she bit into a big, hard piece of plastic. Quite concerning to say the least. We had both kind of lost our appetite so we packed the rest to take home. The next day I took a few pieces to work in my lunch and I ended up biting into two big pieces of plastic. If that is ending up in the food I can only imagine what the cleanliness of the kitchen is like. WILL NOT EAT THERE AGAIN.

I placed an order at 6: 25PM I did not receive my order till 8: 25. Very unacceptable wait time. Food is nothing exceptional. Very basic.

Good Italian food, large portions, and quite reasonable prices. And a wine list that is inexpensive too. Had the doner pizza with sauce and it was very tasty. Will go back and try the eggplant parmigiana. Haven't enjoyed that since I was in Rome.

Went for burger week and ordered for a pick up for 6: 50, when I got there a huge line was formed outside which is understandable given the nature of burger week. I called from the line to see if they wanted me to come inside for my pickup, they said they would meet me at the door. No one came out to help, after waiting 15min I decided to go in. I paid for my order to then wait another 10min for my food. When we left the whole ordeal took 30min. The food was delicious and staff were friendly, but it was not a great experience for takeout.

Great service Our server was very knowledgeable, the wine list was missing 3 types n they had only peroni on tap, so the beer menu was definitely not happening. They had no mussels or hero’s which was both of our choices. All good though so we moved to pizza. Pizza was great, service was also great. That being said I think the kitchen manager needs to be more organized or they just need to minimize the menu. Also there were aged or moldy ingredients on our Zaa.

Came here for burger week, their cheezuz burger was to die for! Sooo good. Wait time was a little long but they were understandably busy. Very quick to help and get every figured out for you. Staff was very friendly as well. We took it to go due to it being packed, but definitely will be back to dine in. Restaurant seems cozy and sleek.

Visited for the first time during burger week! The burger was delicious and the fries were amazing. The servers were great despite the line down the sidewalk.

Went there for burger week, there was a line up and had to wait for 30minutes and then after ordering another 30mins for a 16$ burger in burger week when you can have burger an fries for 10$, same size burger and there are lots of tasty options to choose from!
Burger was delicious but 100% not worth that pricing. Single burger comes to 20$ after tip and tax which does not make sense to me

Ordered pizza and 2 hours later it was cold and gross. I couldn't even try it.tried to return and given attitude and hung up. I showed up with the offensive food only to be told no refunds. Off to the main restaurant in the peninsula and waited for 15 minutes for my refund of 76.00 for two pizzas and garlic fingers. Never again. I haven't been so disappointed with a restaurant in Halifax. Ever. Buyer beware.

It is still lovely weather, the spacing at the tables outside is great and we brought the pupper with no problem. The veggie pizza options are delightful too! *chef kiss*

I only got take-out, but I can say that their pizza is exceptional and will not disappoint. The decor inside looks really comfortable and I'm excited to go back for a dine in experience.

Terrible service. Got up and left after waiting over 10 minutes and never being acknowledged by a server. Lots of other well run Restaurant in Halifax.

They served us a lovely thin crust, authentic pozza with a smokey tasting crust and fresh greens on it. Perfection. The restautant is a bit loud but the good food made up for it.

Staff was super nice but took 50+min to get our food and we waited the food was honestly not worth the price of $44 for a burger, chicken parm and fries and after the meal they tried to give us the doughnuts for compensation and wow they where real bad I personally won't be back.

We ordered the cauliflower appetizer, oh my goodness it was so good. For our main meal we ordered their pizza, same thing absolutely yummy! I wish we took pictures! You won’t be disappointed! Our server was great, super quick! Nice atmosphere too!

Only heard of this place because of burger week, but now I'm wondering how I've never heard of it before! Their "Big Kahuna" burger was absolutely amazing. 10/10

Best burger week burger! So good we had it twice! Did takeout because it was too cold to wait outside at the dine in door. Staff was all very nice! We will definitely be back but during warmer days so we can dine in. Unfortunately is no parking. Hope this place moves to a better location so we can go all year round!

I came here a few weeks ago to get a donut, and decided to get a latte too once I saw their espresso machine. The server started making my drink, and right in front of me, said to another server, "Can you come do this, I have no idea what I'm doing. " However she made the drink anyway. It was a mess. I was going to apologize for getting the drink (since she clearly had no idea what she was doing) when she said to me "is everything ok? " with the most attitude I have ever seen from a server. I said yes, and then she told me Rinaldo's is a restaurant and not a cafe. I cannot believe I was scolded for ordering an espresso beverage, when they literally own and advertise their espresso machine! I said I thought I could order it, since they have the machine, and she told me "we have it but we're not trained on it. " What an absolutely useless response. I couldn't believe how incredibly rude, attitudinal and incompetent she was. Literally the worst service (and latte) I have ever experienced.

Meh. I have to admit I was a little disappointed with my experience here. After following these guys on Instagram for so long and seeing the amazing food they put out, I had high expectations. My brother and I decided to go for the pizza since it seemed to be the main menu item/specialty and all I can say is that it was "meh". Especially for the price. Sure, it's a big pizza and it's "gourmet" but nothing to really write home about. I'd like to venture back and try something else off the menu to be sure but as far as the pizza goes, you can get better for your money elsewhere.
