After moving to Halifax from out west, and in need of a haircut, booked ahead with Jackie online. Walked through the doors and was immediately pals with everyone. Excellent haircut and good pricing will be going back time and time again

Mark is an expert he fixed me right up. Love that I can have a drink while getting a haircut too! Highly recommend!

Freshest cuts and kindest barbers in all the land. The don’t accept tips so don’t let the prices shock you online. Love the staff and that you can grab a beer while you wait

Just finished hiking the Appalachian Trail, I was only in Halifax for the morning, but the awesome people at Sailor Bup’s fit me in. Literally the best shave and haircut I have had anywhere. My barber was awesome, as is the entire vibe in the shop. This will be my go to spot when on the East Coast, period!

Friendly but pricey. $49.45 for a men’s cut plus $6.32 for a non-alcoholic cider. Should offer a free coffee or bottle of water for these prices (and I’m from Toronto)

Such a great experience. These people are true professionals, and connoisseurs of the art of barbering. Is that a word? Barbering? I’m gonna say it’s a word. If you want to take your hair seriously, go to people who also take it seriously. That’s these guys.

Great haircuts, friendly staff, reasonable prices. Lots of banter. It's probably wise to book in advance because they're busy, and for god's sake, show up if you make an appointment.
