Sam's Pizza

5 STARS AMAZING! Sweet comfortable table beside the fireplace. We also talked with the owners daughter Yoda, who's very helpful and friendly. Pizza is VERY delicious, with the tasty and unique brown sauce. Food is perfect everytime we go in for the "Works" Pizza and the incredible BIG Greek salad to start, it's like you're in Greece honestly! A must try for sure, if you're ever traveling and around the Stellerton area of Nova Scotia. Cheers

Not only the best pictou county style pizza, but the best pizza I've ever had the pleasure of eating period.

As always, our pizza at Sam's was delicious. We try to go for the Friday lunch special at least once every few weeks. We've never been disappointed. I have been eating at Sam's since the 70s and still look forward to going every time.

My order is made wrong and it is not able to be eaten. I called for over 30 minutes BEFORE they closed and got one response but when I said hello? They hung up. Not happy as now the person who had the burger and onion rings combo cannot eat as it was supposed to be a plain cheeseburger, but it was made with everything and mustard was everywhere all over the container and onion rings. Never going here ever again!

Just ordered a pizza and picked it up at the restaurant. Possibly the worst I've ever had. Very sloppy and impossible to pick up and eat with your hands. Toppings sliding off. Would NOT recommend.

Home off the original Pictou County Pizza you can't go wrong with anything on the menu, I especially like the pork pita and Greek salad as well as the Donaire and pizza. Great service too, especially Dawn who is always efficient and friendly.

We waited over 2 hours for our food to be delivered when we were told it would be a 45 minute wait. No calls or updates from them either. The food showed up cold and bland (obviously) and was extremely mediocre at best. Maybe don't take so many orders if you can't handle them. Will never be ordering here again.

It use to be good before the brown sauce. Not a lover of that and so spicy couldn’t enjoy it. Not impressed!

Excellent meal, a beautiful dining room, and outstanding customer service! I always eat well there.

Great restaurant, run by a great family.

The eat in atmosphere is great for a date night or reserving a large table for a get together. The pizza is greek style sauce, it has a bit of a kick. Their nachos are unlike anywhere else i've eaten (in a good way) and their greek salad is unmatched in town.

It's a little dated inside for decor, but it works. The food is good and the waitresses are fantastic. I do enjoy stopping in every so often on a Saturday for the special.

Nice restaurant and good food. We shared one large pizza between two of us. Place was busy but staff were great and food arrived in good time.

By far the best Donair I have ever had! I originally come for the pizza but got the Donair instead. I am a Donair Connoisseur by trade and this has blown me away! I will be road tripping from my home in Ontario to Sam’s Pizza monthly to get this Donair! Guys this is the REAL DEAL!

Staff friendly, attentive and helpful. Pizza was light on toppings and crust was dense and slightly undercooked. Flavour was satisfactory.

The best Pizza in the province! We are here on a basketball tournament, and a parent on the team recommend! Oh my, Smokey sauce taste! Unbelievable! And they sell there sauce!

My partner Colin took his parents and I to dinner on Mother’s Day, it was absolutely delicious, especially the chicken souvlaki. I just love the atmosphere, their great service and the amazing food! Can’t wait to go there again.

We order quite alot, but one of the ladies that answer the phones is so RUDE! I work in the food industry and could never talk to a customer the way she does! WORST COSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

Not from the area (from Ontario), recommended by hotel staff.glad they did. We enjoyed our take our pizza especially as had with thin crust. Different sauce but very good.

Great meal.but the waitress did forget to bring my greek salad prior to the main course.wont be seating in her section next time if I can help it.

Pizza is very good and consistent diet Pepsi is awful and the place is a bit run down and dated probably a better place for takeout until they Modernize the dining room and get some decent soda. My party has complained about this soda maybe eight times and it never changes but we come back for the pizza

The donair pizza was bland and I was quite put off when I found 2 insects in the bottom of my shot of whiskey.

Excellent food and great service. If you are from out of town, this is the home of the original brown sauce pizza that Pictou County is famous for and should be on your list of places to eat.

My first impression when walking in was that the place was unclean and in desperate need of a renovation.

The green pepper on my works pizza was limp and slimy like what you get on a frozen pizza at the supermarket.

There were also 2 dead blackflies in the bottom of my drink.

I spoke to my waitress whose response was to take my drink and my friends drink off our bill.

Not going back.

Nice place to eat.can order at the take out or dine in restaurant.good for crowds or family.daily specials make this a popular place to eat.

Great food, had a good experience. Wednesday has great sales, fish and chips was great. Good service and fast service even at busy times!

Omg 2 for donair special on Sundays. Perfect food, perfect delivery, great price. Who in the world could ask for better. Great work employees.

I live in Alberta (Not from NS) and put in an order to b delivered in Abercrombie, Pictou County. The order was delivered promptly and was cooked to all specs!
The employees I talked to were very polite, friendly and professional. Living on the other end of Canada, I would certainly recommend Sam's
in Stellarton, Nova Scotia.
I was told that their food is delicious.
Gonna have to order some for myself!

Wow the amount of food is insane for the price. Great deals such as half price pizza or buy one get one large donairs. As if you could eat two of them!

OMG you make the best pizza. I lived in pictou for 2 years and now 17 years in Calgary and no one here comes close. They try but no. Can't wait to visit again.

Great spot for a family. Lots of selections and awesome tasting pizza. They accommodated us as a hockey team and families. Friendly staff. Expect to be taking food home with you as the portions are large.

Only recommendation is if they served some local beers.

First time there but would highly recommend.
