The guy working at the desk seemed like he hates being there, I hope he isn’t forced to work there lol

Emailed the Store late on Friday to ask if they could help fix a dent in my rim. They called not 1/2hr later and said just to drop by anytime Saturday morning and they would have a look at it to see if they could help. Unfortunately, they weren't in my particular case, but recommended another company that could. Great service and very helpful!

I went into Scotia Tire on Robie St, Halifax to have air put in a tire. The crew found a leak and had it patched in no time. My wife and I were very grateful.

This Scotia Tire Location always has quick and very friendly service. The other day I had a slow leak in my tire. I was able to book an appointment for right after Christmas break. They allowed me to park my car there overnight and called me first thing the next morning telling me it was ready for pick up. As soon as I got there the car was ready to go and they didnt even charge me for it. Highly Reccommend!

These guys saved my butt big time due to an error on my (husband’s!) part, and the issue was very time sensitive. They found the time to help me out and wouldn’t even accept any extra cash for it, which I was more than happy to offer them!
I highly recommend them and will continue to get service there.

I had a very pleasant experience with Scotia Tire. Luckily it was not that busy when I needed service and my tire was repaired in just an hour. Kind and professional employees. Cheaper than competitors, definitely recommend.

About a year and a half ago, I posted praise for this Scotia Tire. At that time it had a different manager. In October of this year, I went in to have my tires switched out and found that there was a new manager, Jamie. Cautious around such changes, I was concerned that things may have changed, and they did-THEY IMPROVED! While things were good before, now they are great! Today, I went in to have my oil changed and a problem with hesitation from a stopped position looked at. Jerry, the mechanic, found several issues, and Jamie consulted me with each thing discovered, offering options when possible. They were also very considerate of my time. This is why I passed by both Honda dealerships to have my car taken care of there. Jamie is honest, ethical, and professional, and Jerry is a great mechanic. I highly recommend this Scotia Tire!

The storage warehouse lost my rims and tires but after a bit of a struggle Jamie from the Robie st location was able to get me a brand new set.although still waiting I trust Jamie to get the job done.

This crew helped us out in a pinch to get our winter tires on and they did it in 30 minutes! The whole team was professional and accommodating, we’ll be coming back for years now! Thank you so much!

A tire pressure light came up on my dashboard. At Scotia Tire they were able to look into without an appointment. They called me a couple of hours later to pick up my car. They run all the diagnostic tests but no issue was found. Meanwhile, the tire pressure light is off now. Early that morning, I bought an air cabin filter to install it myself and to my surprised they did it for me. I wasn't charged for their service. I have been going to Scotia Tire for over 2 years and they have been very consistent in how professional and helpful they are. Wonderful service.

Outstanding. They are fast, friendly, and honest. They patched my tire and replaced the valve stem, all for free. While I was waiting the interactions with other customers made it very clear that they do not upsell, overcharge, etc, and that they really know their stuff. Highly recommended.

I had a slow leak in my tire. I was able to book an appointment within 75 minutes of calling. Issue was quickly diagnosed as a small screw in the tread and promptly fixed. I was very surprised not to be changed for the repair. Service reception was very professional and courteous. Overall this is very impressive in today’s world of automotive repair. I highly recommend this Scotia Tire location.

Jamie got me in quickly, service was prompt at the appointment time and they had my problem analyzed and corrected in 25 minutes.

Incredibly condesending male front desk worker. I was adhering to all public requests for entering the premises. I was still "scholded" by this employee for entering the halifax location for a price quote. Maybe you should answer your phone before you cast your first stone. Will not shop at Scotia Tire and recommend others aswell.

Have had various work done here (front-end suspension parts replaced, spark plugs, MVI, tire changes, alignments, tire purchases, etc) over past several years. Always a positive experience, and they are straight-forward and practical with the recommendations on repairs/parts as well. Previous MVI for example required exhaust work, but they recommended to go to a exhaust specialist instead as they wouldn't be able to do a low-cost repair in their own shop. They also provide options on parts/tires etc so you can get higher-quality stuff that lasts put on.

Cheap tire swap, very quick. They had it done in an hour and a half tops although I believe it was done around the hour mark.

I asked them to run a battery check for me and they did and honestly reported the results back to me (which was that my battery is fine). I've usually gone to Canadian Tire before but I preferred the service here a lot more

Scotia Tire has always gone above and beyond for me over the years. I’m in and out faster than expected and the prices are fair and never a shock. The best tire shop and service in Halifax.

I had just left work, still in uniform to get my tire fixed. Had a screw in it. I was there for maybe 20 to 25 mins most. They came out to me and gave me my keys back. And thanked me for my service. I looked at my receipt. They had done it commentary. I was almost in tears. I wanted to say the staff here are amazing, friendly, kind, and go out of there way to help. Thank you for making my day that much better!

I didn't have much of an expectation before going in for a tire change. But they seemed to understand the value of a great customer service. The staff were wonderful and knowledgeable. Recommended!

The service that I received here has been exceptional! I'm so glad I discovered them, and will be returning to them for all of my vehicle maintenance and tire services. These guys are fantastic.

I went into Scotia tire for the first time based on a recent recommendation. I was just getting new winter tires but they spotted an issue with a recent break repair from another shop in my home town. They were super professional in how they handled it, making sure I was safe without casting shade on the other shop (who reimbursed me for the cost/error. I didn’t catch the owners name but he and his staff stayed late 2 nights in a row to help me get back on the road and also accommodate my rushing between work and to pick my son up from daycare. It wasn’t an expensive repair and I’m sure it was a super annoying one for a busy tire place right in the middle of the busiest few weeks. Super lovely team and I was immensely appreciative.

Bad experience with a flat tire repair. Could not locate lock nut however in same place as all other similar vehicles. Had to then show up to locate lock nut only to find it sitting on the lot completely deflated (can’t be good for sidewall). Further, car got delivered back to me with a massive dent/scratch above the wheel well; I did confront them on this issue and there was no admission of fault. Location on bedford highway is waaayyy better.

I had a slow leak in a tire that suddenly worsened while I was on vacation in Halifax. I stopped by Scotia Tire and they had the puncture repaired within half an hour at a great price. Very impressed with the speed, price and professionalism. I highly recommend Scotia Tire.

They were taken over by a parent company that only pushes sales and no longer focuses on the customer. If you need anything other than a tire changeover don't bother with this company anymore.

Awesome place. While I was on vacation in Halifax I ran over a screw which resulted in my tire having to be replaced the staff was very courteous and friendly. The cheapest and Affordable Tire they had was not in stock but the staff was kind enough to give me the next tire up in price at no extra cost which I thought was great. The next day they were very accommodating been checking my tires my tire pressure in my car in general for the long 5-hour trip I had head of me. Job well done guys and girls and I will definitely come and see you should I have a problem during my next Halifax trip

Avoid at all costs as this business will not stand behind their product. We have been customers at this shop for about five years (maybe more), choosing them because we wanted to 'shop local' when we moved back to Halifax. We have had great service overall (for any small / inexpensive fixes that have been required), but the first time we had a real issue, they refused to address it. We will take our business elsewhere and hopefully find one that values loyalty and stands behind their product.
