I've been to this location four times in three weeks and it has been closed each time due to staff shortages. The tellers are showing up to work late, leaving early for long weekends, etc.

That said, be kind to the security staff at the entrance. It's not their fault this branch service at this branch is terrible.

Was there last week to replace my card because the tap doesn’t work, it was CLOSED for the day because the ONE TELLER was out sick. Okay, so only one teller at the main branch of Nova Scotia. Get it. I just dropped by at 1: 30pm on Sept 5,2023, and it was closed AGAIN but ‘opening soon’. Totally ridiculous that a BILLION DOLLAR BANK can’t spend money to hire people! Not everything can be done online. Maybe I should move my investments and business to a private bank!

Hours are not as advertised and vary day by day. Better off planning to visit another branch and save yourself the trip to be turned away.

They are severely understaffed and the hours are ridiculously inaccessible for people with full-time jobs. I waited over 25 minutes just to choose a PIN for a new debit card, with only one customer in front of me and one person helping at the main desk. They had only 2 working card machines in the building.

Doesn't have updated hours on building or door. Staff aren't very pleasant when you point out they say they are open

They de-bank people for no reason, not to be trusted. Pulled my accounts and now enjoying an independent credit union.

Built in 1931, absolutely stunning architecture. A must see as a resident of Halifax or a visitor.
