Scotiabank Centre

The last time I was in this facility was to see the Kevin Hart comedy show. It is an older facility but it does its job it was a great show bathrooms were a little dirty and of course there's always trouble parking anywhere in downtown Halifax

Firs time here since the upgrade from Metro Centre. Nice facilities. Attended a lacrosse game for the first time. Very entertaining with a full crowd. Comfortable seats.

Friendly helpful staff, great atmosphere. But those seats. It may seem a small thing, but I have NEVER sat in more cramped, tiny, uncomfortable, restraining seats than these at any other venue or event anywhere. My knees were jammed up against the seat in front of me, and my arms were crammed up against the ppl in either side of me. I DO NOT know what they were thinking with those renovations, beyond increasing attendance capacity obviously. But where do you draw the line between comfort and capacity? I'm not obese, and average height, and I find it nearly impossible to sit there for a 2 hour game. Pretty much ruined the evening for me. FIX THIS!

The pizza was so bad I was burping up propane afterwards. Please raise your standards. This is pathetic for a 10 dollar pizza where every square inch of the cheese smells like it’s gone rotten:/.

Went to see the #Halifaxmooseheads play the #Monctonwildcats. Not a good day for the heard. The Scotiabank centre is nice, but like most entertainment venues, the seats are a little too close for my liking.

Super friendly staff, place was clean, good acoustics, typical over priced beer. Parking garage nearby.

Seating is a little tight, not many events happen in Halifax worth seeing as it's so small here, but sometimes there's great concerts of hockey games!

Came for a Mooseheads game with the kids. Bought a giant popcorn which the kids devoured. Plenty of washroom facilities, no issues with our seats, parked at Scotia square and were able to walk over without going outside. All in all a very successful outing!

The main event venue in town, pretty much any big show is going to be here. Prices on concessions can be a little steep, but in general, service is usually pretty good and staff are usually on the ball, and willing to help with your needs.

Went to a show here in February. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the concessions (although insanely overpriced like every other venue of this type) were plentiful with more local options than I'd thought there would be. The washrooms were clean, the seats were small but fairly comfortable, and overall the acoustics were good!

An almost perfect venue for any event that needs to be held in Halifax. The Scotiabank centre can do it all from car shows to the Davis Cup to the memorial cup.

It's an old building so the top concourse is a bit tight when all patrons are walking around during game breaks. The seats and concession areas have been updated in the past 2 years.

I think this is the best venue east of Montreal

Seating is so much better now with the renovations being complete. Staff are helpful and they have made some impressive changes with their washrooms! Always a good time here!

Very busy, and that's great! But kinda disappointed with these seats since I flew in from Toronto to watch this game. Was expecting to see more and not a wall infront of me

Great venue for many reasons! We just took in our first lacrosse game recently and were so impressed with the experience! The renovations over the past few years really make a huge difference!

Always love coming here for events, hockey games, lacrosse games, other events - saw Kevin Hart here both times he visited and had an amazing time. We had awesome seats that were comfortable.

Quelle expérience! L'aréna est superbe, l'entrée est fluide, le personnel est attentionné, les prix des concessions sont raisonnables et peu importe la place dans les estrades, la vue est sans obstacles, mise à part les places en haut complètement. La vision de la patinoire est parfaite mais les écrans sont cachés. Des projecteurs montre les mêmes images sur le mur qui cache l'écran.

Had a wonderful time at Cirque du Soleil with my granddaughter! Our seats were great. Loved the show. But popcorn was too expensive.

Excellent center for our Religious worship the last three days. We thank all the kindness show by management and staff.

Belle aréna taille parfaite pour le hockey junior. Point faible il faudrait plus de toilettes et mieux afficher de l'extérieur les entrées.

Had a convention there for three days, arrived by bus. Quite abit of walking for anyone with leg and knee problems I thought. Place was clean as volunteers cleaned it free of charge.

Even with the new branding and corporate investment, as Halifax has grown the Metro.excuse me, Scotiabank Centre is at a stagnant and strained capacity. Maybe this city does not need a Stadium but it does need a new multi event venue.

Food service too outrageously priced. Seating doesn't provide much space, usually touching the arm or leg of the person sitting next to you.

I saw Corey Hart there. It was awesome. The seating, all the food and drinks to choose from and the people working were super nice. It was a fantastic experience.

Confusing signage. The "arena seating " signs point into bathrooms? Watched people wander into the opposite sex bathrooms looking for staircases. Almost did it ourselves.

Could have a better system for line ups as once 60-70 people are in line it follows no pattern and people frequently sneak into the line. Aside from that a fantastic local stadium to catch the best sports this city has to offer
