Cottages were clean and we finally felt relaxed on this leg of our trip to N. S. Our entire family and our dog Jax felt welcomed by Lonnie and her staff.

Absolutely stunning location, only regret is not having a bit more time to relax there (mainly on the hammocks!).
I wasn't the biggest fan of the interior/under the sea theme of the room but I will say it created much amusement and is most certainly very memorable! The only reason I have submitted 4 stars for service instead of 5 is because we didn't spend enough time at the location to have any kind of service at all really but the room/cabin itself had plenty of towels (unlike most accomodations) and everything was clean and functional so we did not have occasion to seek out assistance.
Lots of fun in the hot tub although it was VERY hot so we were in and out in about 20 minutes and there were no controls we could find to turn it down. I would prefer it just slightly lower so you can relax and enjoy yourself a bit more but that is personal preference at the end of the day. There's a small area you can play football as well as volleyball and other small activities right in front of the cabins which is wonderful, but definitely be careful with anything ball related as there are several things you could hit and break in the surrounding areas!
We visited in August and the mosquitos weren't too bad compared to other areas in Canada that we visited but definitely bring your bug spray regardless (especially if you react badly to bites like I do!) There's a good amount of parking available and all the other guests were friendly and respectful. Would definitely return and try out one of the other themed rooms!

Gorgeous view and solid accommodation. Loony was very nice and had excellent breakfast for sure. My dog Otis also loved the place! Thanks for everything!

Beautiful grounds. Nice, clean cottages. Best part was the Lonnie guiding us through excursion ideas, doing our laundry while we were out and making my kids feel welcome to get games and sports stuff from her house. Thanks for taking care of us

Beautiful location right on the Ocean and Cabot Trail. The owner is super friendly and makes you feel welcomed like family. I was there in the first week of August 2021 with family and enjoyed every moment of our stay. The bonfire every evening allows you to interact with the other guests and make new friends. It is close to some good restaurants which serve great sea food. There’s a variety of cottages to choose from within the resort.
I would love to visit again in the coming summers if the current owner still owns the place as the property was up for sale when we had visited.
I wish that I could load and share some pictures taken during our stay.

This is my experience in this resort
I found that Lonnie, the woman who own this resort is taking advantage of her clients
My friend and I are over 75 years old and we made a reservation for Tuesday and Wednesday night we went on Tuesday in the afternoon my friend dropped to her office and she said hello we have a reservation the woman came to her door, she said no reservation today the place is fully booked, while we noticed tha no cars at all and was no sign of any guests in the resort
My friend insisted that she made the reservation for the two nights and the lady said OK follow me when we followed her, she took us to a very high unit that we have to go 20 steps up
I’ve told her I can’t do steps she said why didn’t tell us that on your phone on your reservation I said why you didn’t mention that when we reserve it she said OK I’ll take you to the cottage but you will pay more $20 more per night we did not answer yes or no but We followed her to the cottage when entering to the cottage it was very cold that means it was not a complete full nights and nights and she was telling us that the cleaning lady just left the cottage because she was cleaning after Guest is over there of course she was lying because
The cottage was so cold and she had to turn heating on
It has a living room and a bedroom with a queen bed while the living room has a daybed that my friend used while I used thqueen bed in the bedroom
How terrible experience I have using this dirty bedroom the bedroom was dirty and the linen and sheet was smelly
furniture was nothing but garbage
the bed with old mattress and sponge top) it was disgusted by all means
When we ask loonie about breakfast she said the cottage does not include breakfast also she charged us more than $200 per night plus tax
Wi-Fi was very poor and the TVs may be a 50 years old. We discovered after returning to Halifax that she charged our credit card for extra $75 without our authorization
This will be my last visit to this resort maybe even to cap Breton because this woman made me hate this place

I have not stayed here yet but am very excited to book our anniversary weekend here I just had an amazing conversation with the owner and she is so delightful and charming, I cant wait to meet you in person. I'm sure the stay will be at the least a 5 star rating

Awesome location in the cape breton Island, beautiful views, kids loved it there, just what you need for an enjoyable weekend

Had a terrible experience at sea parrot ocean view manor! Would not recommend this resort to anyone! Owner is very aggressive, bossy and would not leave us alone.
We followed all the rules, we respected the cottages but she seemed to Think we did not.
She will not hire local Cape bretoners as she claimed we are not good workers! We were looking forward to a week getaway with our family, and we didn't feel like having loonie Lonnie joining us!
Will not be back, and don't be fooled by the pictures, as it's a beautiful place, but the costumer service sucks! Don't waste your money or your time.

It felt like we were staying with (good) family the moment we arrived. Lonnie and Roy were friendly and warm. The food was great, the upper level rooms were comfortable and uniquely designed. Everything was clean and well maintained. The location is beautiful and there were lots of amenities for kids and adults. We would come back again and again.

Excellente vu sur la mer! Très relaxant comme endroit. Site bien aménagé pour la petite famille. Badminton, basket, jeu de ballon rotatif. Jeu de fer, balançoire, hamac.de tout pour relaxer. Pour un arrêt de 2-3 jours sur la Cabot Trail c'est parfait.
