The food is exceptionally great. The fried clams are the best. The staff is friendly and the service is quick.

Tourist trap. Namesake chowder barely has any seafood in it. Location and service is fine.

Best pub in New Glasgow. Food is fresh tastes home made and the ambience feels like it is straight out of Dublin. Kind staff that make you feel right at home. Love having a beer beside the fire in the winter.

Went there tonight for some wine and chowder. If you haven't tried the chowder here well you just have too. The place looks great all decorated. It was a great experience. Excellent servers too.

We got the pan fried haddock, jalapeño mac and cheese, seafood chowder, and cranberry pecan salad. Service was not the fastest but the food was good, and they were able to accommodate our request for plain pasta (not on the menu)

Great service, good food - the scallops and the churros were delicious. The seafood was extremely overcooked in the Atlantica paella but the rice had wonderful flavour.

Crazy expensive. $85 for lobster!? ! We ate a wonderful lobster meal, with melted butter, side, and dessert in Halifax, a block off the harbour (Blue Nose) for $40. Two of us are an entire lobster each for less than half the price. Captain Kay didn’t...

Went because it was close to the hospital and it had good ratings, unfortunately I believe the ratings are fixed, the food was terrible and the service wasnt much better, I will give our server the benefit of the doubt because we arrived about an hour...

The food took an incredibly long time and then we had to send back the soups as they were inedible. Under new ownership, but right now can’t really guarantee you can get served in any reasonable time frame, unless you are just ordering pizza. Also...

Pan fried haddock, chicken dinner and a scallop burger. All delicious and served hot. Good coffee as well. Desserts looked delicious and decent selection.

Used to go eat out here alot until I moved away in 2015 (I was a child back then) Loved their food, especially their fries that have ridges.
