EDIT: The pharmacist himself, if you can get him, is great. Very polite and helpful!

There have been a bunch of missteps but as an example, this week I'm told that even though they got my script last week, it will need to be ordered in (and hasn't been yet) and now won't be available until Wednesday earliest. My question is, why wasn't it ordered last week or over the weekend - they're open sat/sun? The old pharmacy team was super helpful and were always quick with filling scripts and would give you a call with issues.really disappointing. Communication is poor.

The pharmacy's organization is commendable; however, a concerning incident occurred involving a lady who incessantly harassed my 10-year-old son. She followed him relentlessly, baselessly accusing him of shoplifting. This behavior was not only disrespectful but also deeply unsettling for my child, inducing unwarranted fear and guilt over an unfounded accusation. It is imperative that you prioritize the training of your employees to exhibit empathy, particularly towards children. Such conduct is far from setting a positive example for young impressionable minds.

This pharmacy is just bad. I don’t know why, but many on the pharmacy team are not respectful with patient interactions. There is one guy in particular who seems malicious for no reason. Be prepared to not get a call back when they say they will (for refills). If they make a mistake, they make you wait hours to wait for them to fill the correct prescription. The wait is always long no matter the time of day. I understand that they are probably overworked and stressed but that is no excuse to take it out on patients. This is not an isolated incident of rude and bad service at this location, just read the other reviews and they say the same thing. Shoppers responding to these reviews that say they are concerned and want to help is not genuine if they seemingly don’t address what seems to be over year of the same complaints. Do what I did and move over to a different shoppers or pharmacy. Ps. You can be a miserable person, but I take it personally when it impacts my time and wellbeing.

AVOID BEUTY SECTION! I went here to buy some makeup and had a very scary experience. One of the employees stocked and harassed me to the point where I felt very uncomfortable. While I was looking at the display she approached me asking if there was anything you could help with. I said no and she pulled up a stool stilling right next to me. She continuously asked me if she could help me with anything. Then when I picked up a product she said “are you ready to go to the front? ” I said no I’m shopping she continues to follow me around the entire store. Meanwhile about 6 other employees asked me If I needed help. They followed me around until I went to the cash register. I had put one one the products back and she had another employee ask where it was and why I wasn’t buying it. I have already called customer service. I am a loyal customer here and like shopping and looking at products. I now feel so scared and uncomfortable. I cannot believe they treat clients this way. I have contacted customer service and they did nothing.

Worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. They take insanely long to fill prescriptions and most of the pharmacy staff are rude. Management seriously needs to change.

I’ve been a loyal customer for many years with all my prescriptions filled without issues, until recently. The familiar pharmacists seem to be gone and I get the feeling there’s a new team who may not be as experienced. For example they failed to bill one prescription through my insurance and when I called about it the phone went unanswered over several calls over two days. I’ll give it some time to see if things get back on track but am already looking around for a new pharmacy in case things don’t improve. The main retail area of the store is as good as ever.

This pharmacy seems like it’s very poorly run. Takes days to fill a script. They tell you your prescription will be ready on a certain day, and then they tell you it’s not ready and to come back tomorrow (for multiple days). I have been coming here for about a year and I’m definitely going to switch. They seem understaffed and overwhelmed, clearly there are some deficiencies in their management. I commonly have to wait minimum 30 mins to an hour when I come to pick up prescriptions, which are supposed to be ready. Don’t come here if you’re in a rush or you need your medication the same day.

HORRIBLE shoppers! Do NOT waste your time here.
I don't know what's happened in the last 6 or so months, but this place used to be OK, and now it is a nightmare to shop at. Despite the store always being nearly empty, they can not fill a refill on time. It suddenly takes DAYS. If you try to transfer a prescription there, you'll have to go in and make sure they got it, because they no longer seem to know how to receive and process transfers, or they just leave it not done for weeks. Sometimes they point-blank LOSE your script!

The wait time to pick up your meds is beyond ridiculous. The store might have four people total in it, and they will all be in line at the pharmacy for over an hour waiting for a refill.

Shoppers charges the highest prices for any prescription medication, yet they offer the worst service. I'd advise you to go to Costco or use Telus virtual pharmacy - they both deliver right to your door, and for MUCH LESS than the price of going to this AWFUL shoppers, which is wild! Boyd's on Agricola is also much much better than this place, and the customer service at Boyd's is top notch. I would recommend going almost anywhere but here.

Certain members of the pharmacy team were extremely rude and unhelpful, I would not recommend going to this pharmacy.

I visited the store for US visa photo. They clicked the picture without an arrangement for light on face, and it turned out to slightly darker face in photo. And their computer can not adjust to brightness, contrast or colour tones.

I would suggest to check the picture before printing because its to expensive (28CAD for just two photos).

The pharmacy here on quinpool shoppers is the worst I've experienced, they quote insane wait times of 3 hours and longer to fill your prescriptions. They forget you called, forget to call you back when they say they will and worst of all forget to fill your prescriptions making you wait multiple times and many hours and they blame each other in-front of you! This place desperately needs management or just needs to shut down, your time is valuable go anywhere else, AVOID this shoppers.

I visit to click passport size photo, it was a good experience, especially with the supervisor named Julia and one more girl I don't know her name of her she wore a black outfit and had long hairs. The way of talking was so good and respectful.

Tried to fill a script for my spouse - said they were busy dispute the store being empty. So I left it with them given the urgency and came back about four hours later to find it still not fufilled- was told by the other pharmacist that the women didn't actually do anything with the script and just left it on the computer and went home for the day (didn’t input it into the system). He then told me I was told that I could leave it with them and come back in the morning but I figured the script would "disappear" suddenly and would be tossed. Avoid this place if you want your scripts actually fulfilled.

Edit to add - the copy and paste response from the owner is laughable. The mistake could of cost my partner his sight, I had to wait until the next business day (Monday) to fill his script at another pharmacy because nothing was open on a Sunday. Seriously avoid this place, the greed and lack of care from staff is startling.

The Quinpool Shoppers Pharmacy has gone to complete trash. Seriously, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I've been a loyal customer of this location for many years, but as most of the other recent reviewers have already said, after a recent change of ownership/management, this place is a total waste of time. Very poor customer service, very difficult to get and deal with on the phone, and I don't think a single one of the new employees knows theie a$$ from their hats. I've given them at least 8 months to get their operation in order, but instead of improving, things are getting worse and worse. As of early this evening, I've moved my business elsewhere.

They lost my prescription after I brought it in and weren’t helpful at all in the process to figure out how to fix their mess despite it being a weekly injection that I rely on

They get it wrong at this pharmacy all the time. The staff are rude and they seem confused about what they are doing. Are these educated professionals or high school students pulling in a part time side gig. The service and the system at this store SUCKS

Extremely unorganized, got told prescription was ready 3 times, had to wait in a long line for nearly 1.5 hours total to be told they have to count it again. Been going here for years but switching now. Really frustrating as it’s a vital prescription for my health being taken for granted…. Fix this shoppers
