What an amazing adventure! Our guide Bob was awesome, and Emmitt and his entire team were great! Yep, the water is brown and the mud is muddy and it will be the best 2 or 4 hours of your day!

What a great experience! Faith was our boat operator and made the trip lots of fun. We shared the boat with some folks from Halifax. It was a blast! We did the 2 Hour A trip. Turns out there wasn't a 4 hour due to the time of the tidal bore making the waves. We were out for sunset

What an amazing time we had on this tour. From check in to showers at the end we were so impressed with this tour. We didn’t even know this was something we could do but we enjoyed every minute of it.

Our kids (aged 8 and 10) were thoroughly entertained and laughed with each crashing wave! Emmett was a great guide and answered our kids endless questions. His knowledge of the area and the tides was impressive!

My sister and I had a great time experiencing the tides of the Bay of Fundy with Shubie River Wranglers! The crew really wants you to have the best experience and creates a great atmosphere for fun. Be prepared to slide through the mud!

We had SUCH a blast during our 2-hour trip! The mudslide, walking on a sand bank before the tide comes in, and then the rapids… Everything was super fun! Thank you to Luke, our guide, who was kind and funny, for making the trip such a success!

If you’re in the Fundy region and are not afraid to get dirty… this is one activity you can’t miss!

This was an absolute pleasure to do and our guide Isaac was the best.so much fun.he kept us laughing and wet.rode the waves we had an awesome time.the mud sliding was fantastic took us back to child hood.highly recommend river Wranglers rafting.they explained to us what was going to take place.provided life jackets and even shoes if you forgot yours or didn't wish to ruin your own which was fantastic.they are friendly and helpful.full of information about the area and even snuck in jokes for us to decipher.that was funny.provided showers to clean off the mud.we walked on the sand bars.learned a few things and let the tide rush in on our feet.it was absolutely a fantastic experience. Highly recommend.

Had a great time with Sasha this afternoon! It was my wife and my first time rafting the tide and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Sasha was lots of fun and informative as we went through our adventure. We'll be back next summer and ask for her!

We had the BEST day ever with Shubie River Wranglers! Everyone working there goes out of their way to make sure you have the best experience ever! Our family of 6 is on a vacation for our first time in NB, NS and PEI and today was absolutely incredible! Morgan was our driver and she made sure we had the best time ever, didn’t stay dry and laughed and smiled the entire way! We had our 4 children and she made sure they were ok, but sure didn’t hold back once she knew we were all good to go. We loved riding out to see the bore come in as she taught us about the river and how things work and even pointed out a bald eagle. Tidal bore rafting with Shubie River Wranglers (Morgan for sure!) is a MUST if you’re in NS! Thank you to Morgan and all the river wranglers for a day we will never forget!

An absolute blast of an experience. From feeling the bore come in to the thrills of the "washing machine". Great time. You'll get absolutely soaked and destroyed by mud so dress accordingly. Plan to go near full moons for the ultimate experience.

Went here with our work crew yesterday and had a fantastic day! The four hour tour was where it’s at if you want to really get rocked in the tidal action! We had a great time and made awesome memories. Shout out to Sasha for being so fun and awesome!

Olivia was fantastic! I was scared to fall out and she reassured me and encouraged me. She found the right balance of fun for the younger guests while I still felt safe. What a great time! The teenagers were talking about it all the way home and said they were definitely going back. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone! Young, old, in shape, not in shape, just anyone who is looking for a fun time! Thanks for providing us a great night Olivia!

This was a well organized event with very knowledgeable employees. Kaelyn was our captain. She was entertaining, gave us thrills after thrills and even pointed out an eagles nest along the way. The owner, Emmett, was charming and funny. We learned so much from him about tidal bores and how they occur. A wonderful experience and definitely highly recommended. I also should add the mud sliding was an incredible experience as well. Thank you.

Very well organized. Very safe. The kids and I had a really fun time. Luke was a great guide and very attentive to our needs. Interacted with other boats. A must do activity in Truro.

Had a blast with the family! We were there during this past week's heat wave and the water temperature was excellent. Do wear old clothes or anything that you don't mind getting dirty, the water is muddy and rolling in the mud is part of the experience. It was impressive to feel the tidal bore hit our shins and see the water rise at such a speed and realize the beach where we had been walking had turned into rapids in just a few minutes. Our boat driver (Olivia) did a great job of getting us in the thick of the waves and made sure we had a great time, managed expertly a change of boats, and the kids (10,12 and 14) felt at ease to interact directly with her. A highlight of our trip!

A hands on owner who underpromise and, boy oh boy, he does over deliver. Such an exciting experience where one can learn and explore nature’s limits.
Our driver sweet talking, big wave chasing Kay made it a day to remember.

It was an awesome experience. It is amazing how the tide fills up this river and allows us to white water raft with an engine. The mud sliding was also phenomenal. If you have a family this is a great activity to do when visiting Halifax.

Amazing time! Our driver Morgan was fantastic, funny, and very knowledgeable. The 4 hour trip was definitely worth it! Bring warm clothes and a change of shoes for afterwards!

This was way more fun than I expected! I'm in my mid 60's and this might be more of a young person's adventure (the steep muddy hills took a toll on my muscles) but I'd do this again in a heartbeat. I recommend this trip to anyone of any age, just be prepared for a wild ride!

This negative comments is not target for Shubie River Wranglers, but for the bad "Karen" joke from one of the male staff. If I am correct, most of your customers are females, at least, my boat has 6 females and only 2 males. So when you making a joke about a female, have you ever think about there might be a customer who's name is Karen?

All the road rage, and most of bad customers, I met so far are actually males, but, the society pick a female among all of them to joke around. It just pure Misogyny. Just be fair, please also find a male name to joke, so how about Kevin, Kyler? Or an existing one, Trump? I am sure you would not have trouble to find one!

Again, sorry for this negative comments. All the negative parts is only target for the "Karen" joke. The trips is great!

5/5 stars! This was the funnest time i’ve had in a very very long time. I was with my friend, and a group of 6 other people on the raft! Our guide, Evan, was tons of fun and was very knowledgeable about the area. He made us all laugh very many times!

The group I was placed with were also very fun and polite, making the experience 10 times better. The older nice lady at the beginning was also very helpful!

Overall, everyone here is super welcoming and are amazing at making sure you’re having a good time. I’m already planning on another trip back!

I was sat at the front, which was the spot that got the most wet. Even though I slipped INTO the boat a couple of times, it was very fun and exciting. Make sure you hold on! And prepare to be soaked.

We had a blast out on the water. So much fun. This is one of a handful of must-dos in Nova Scotia. Our guide/driver, Mike, was outstanding. He showed us a great time and was very personable and friendly. I highly recommend River Wranglers.

If you’re looking for a must do in Nova Scotia, this is it! Our group spent the morning with Shubie River Wrangers on the 2 hour tidal bore rafting tour and it was so much fun. Our boat operator, Morgan, was knowledgeable, safe, informative and funny. She educated us about the tides and the names of each wave we rode. The overall experience was great and we will definitely be back next summer:). Thanks river wranglers!

What a great experience! Like nothing we've ever done before. It was a beautiful day out and we hit some awesome tides. Our guide Hailey was the best! She made the trip so much more enjoyable and knew exactly what she was doing. She even pointed out a few bald eagles!

What a wicked ride! Shubie river wranglers was a 10/10 experience and we will certainly be coming again! Our tour guide Luke (the 2nd year physiology student at mcgill) was exceptional! He was not only a pro at spotting out bald eagles, but also making fun of a certain celebrity with a big ego too! (haha jk.not really 3rd place: p). He was also super informative on the tides and whatnots of this tour. Service was great all throughout the place, (Beth and the funny eldest woman seemed super cool and nice!) The eldest even gave me a shoestring so I didn't loose my glasses on the days embarkment. Make sure if you go to not be the wet blankets that don't mudslide or wave at the passing boats (kinda hurt my feeling ngl). The mud sliding/ mud fight we had tasted a little salty but was super fun. Overall besides the big scary hill driving up to the place, the shubie river wranglers is on this lumberjacks top 5 list of summer activities to try out!

Awesome ride, and the mud sliding was the best. Emmett (our captain) had a wealth of experience lots of info about the river, tides, sandbars and current.he pointed out the Bald Eagles and even took our pictures to post. Highly recommended! Great Job River Wranglers!

We did the 2 hour tour and it was an absolute blast! Every aspect of the experience exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend river wranglers to everyone.

First time trying rafting and it was awesome! Luke was really nice with great sense of humour. Provided information about the river tides. Would definitely recommend again!

My workmates and I did the tidal rafting tour. Beeing outside in the river when the tide comes is crazy. The waves, all made of chocolate are huge. Awesome experience.

The ride on the river is fun and the boat guide was very good. The facilities are poor only outdoor toilets and showers. They only have four cold water showers for 60 people wait to get clean up after a very muddy and salty river ride.
The office staff are not very friendly or welcoming.
Getting to the boats of difficult you have to walk down a very slippery mud hill without anything to hold on to.
Could use some stairs or a rope.

I had such a blast! I was so nervous my first time but felt totally safe. I loved it so much I went back a second time and convinced all my friends to come along! So much fun and will do every summer from now on when I am in Nova Scotia! The staff are all fantastic and the pricing was great. Can't wait to come back!
