What a mistake we made having breakfast here. Service was slow, food was cold and overall experience was not appealing at all.

Decent food, came out quickly and was alright. Service was very poor, the lady seating us was rude, no introduction very blunt. Sever was a little better she at least smiled but still was very inattentive no conversation was gonna order more drinks but she never checked on us after the first few minutes. Wasn’t the worst experience but definitely could have been better for amount of money we spent!

Sweet resturant. Clean, friendly and polite staff. Food came out quickly, even though they had lots of guests. Food tasted SO GOOD. Good size portions as well. The resturant was easy to find off the highway and there was plenty of parking available. Will stop here again whenever on vacation next.

Visited here for breakfast today, and what a meal, great service, and amazing food. I definitely recommend going there!

Although we arrived about 15 minutes before closing (we were not aware, not being from here) we were seated and served anything we ordered. The wait staff were very pleasant and never at anytime did we feel rushed or pressured to hurry. We all had a lovely meal.

They accomadated our reservation for 10 on relatively short notice. The staff were pleasant, service was great and prices and serving portions were very good. The menu had variety for every taste, hardly a crumb was left, very delicious. Washrooms were clean. This is likely to be our new 'go to' restaurant when we are in Truro.

Always like stopping at Smitty's when we travel through Nova Scotia. The food is always good and lots of it. Service is friendly and the place is clean. A nice change from the fast-foods when you get off the 104 in Truro.

Great restaurant/diner. Everybody's food was great, and the people were helpful! If you like pierogies, get that Ukranian Skillet for breakfast!

Great service at this location. Food is well-priced. Knocked off a star for the coffee - while I don't expect a top-shelf bean at a family-style chain restaurant, the brew had that ashy, cigarette-like flavour that you get from stale/poorly roasted coffee grounds.

Smitty's has a menu with a wide variety of food items to choose from.something for everyone. Staff are very friendly and quick to help their customers with what they need. It's a restaurant that is not strictly for breakfast. They offer much more & it's one of my favorite places to go to especially when I have a craving for something delicious to eat. Bring your whole family as they offer a kids' menu as well. I haven't ever been disappointed with the variety of dishes I've ordered. Highly recommend this restaurant. Lots of parking including handicap zone. The only thing I don't like is the change in hours for earlier closing time @3: 00 pm. Still a great dining experience!

Was pleasantly surprised at how well everyone at our table enjoyed every single meal. We all had ordered different items and all of us were pleasantly surprised at how well prepared and tasty the food was! Much better than what we expected for a quick pit stop while on a road trip. Very glad we stayed and dined in, will definitely make this a regular pit stop for our family and friends. We do recommend and are confident you will enjoy it as much as we did!

Food was good service at first was nice but after a couple coffee refills our table of 4 took about a half hour to get the check from our waitress and even then we had to go to the counter and ask several people for our check

Great pancakes! I usually always order pancakes and bacon and it’s always delicious.just unfortunate they aren’t open all day.
