My second visit to this store. Like the first time I experienced knowledgeable and patient customer service. The store was crazy busy as it was Black Friday but the staff did a great job keeping everyone served. Great selection of high quality shoes. A pleasure shopping in a store with well trained staff.

Hello SIM, I recently visited your store. I am visiting from BC. And Jessica helped my friend and I. She was friendly, funny, and very informative. She managed two of us with professionalism and a good side of humour. She made my friend and I feel comfortable to spend real time trying on shoes and asking numerous questions until we found the right fit. I suffer greatly from plantar fasciitis and when she scanned my foot my heel was flaming red and almost off the chart in pain. Needless to say her customer service was greatly appreciated!

I also would be remiss if I did not mention Scott. SIM was very busy so getting a second person to help us took a little bit but only because staff were busy with other customers. However, when Scott was able to join us to help me finish my shop he was also friendly, the right touch of sassy and very informative. He also ensured I was looked after as I opted to have my selection shipped.
Soooo well done SIM and thank you Jessica and Scott!

As noted by several other reviewers, the customer service at reception is disappointing at best. I was told to get out of the way for another customer as I was trying to check in for my appointment, only for the employee to leave the desk after ringing that customer through.

I am a long distance runner and need custom orthotics to correct issues resulting in shin splints. I visited in May, was fitted for orthotics and purchased a new pair of Brooks runners to go with them based on employee recommendation. It did not correct the issue fully, so I recently returned to check the fitment on the orthotics and they were adjusted slightly. I had one run after the adjustment and suffered a painful arch injury. When I returned to address this injury, the pedorthist could not figure out what had caused this issue and just reversed the adjustment. This did not solve the problem. I saw two different pedorthists from Soles in Motion; neither were rude or unprofessional, but they were a little bit awkward and could not figure out the problem.

I recently visited Dr. Samir Ouisi at the Arthritis and Injury Care clinic at 250 Baker Drive. Within 20 minutes, he was able to identify every issue with my current orthotics: he noted that my orthotics require significantly more support to fix my issues, and even pointed out that the shoes I was recommended by their staff were not the right shoes for my injuries and why.

In short: if you're an athlete looking for custom orthotics to fix mechanics issues, save yourself $500 and an injury and book with Dr Ouisi.

We popped in to check out the shoes and sneakers as I had heard this location carries a great selection. There are so many amazing sandals, shoes, sneakers, boots and more to peruse here! I ended up purchasing two pairs of shoes - Dansko and Brooks sneakers. A helpful staff member got me to try stuff on and to walk in them so they could assess my walk in those shoes. I am so pleased and will be back to shop here frequently in the future. Finding great quality shoes and service is so important!

I went there as a new runner and they fitted me for orthotics, telling me I needed new sneakers. Sandra was awesome in measuring me for the orthotics.very personable and knowledgable (which is why I'm not giving a 1.) I also purchased new sneakers because they said I needed them, even though the New Balance ones I'd been wearing for 9 months still looked almost new. I trusted they knew best, even when they told me I was a full size larger than I'd worn for the last 30 years. When the expensive shoes they sold me began to fall apart after only 75 miles of indoor treadmill running, I made an appointment to talk about it. (The company website says those shoes are good for 300-500 miles.) I only run about 7 miles a week, so it was more than 30 days after I had purchased. The manager told me it was too late to replace them and that they would need to go after the company, who may or may not help me. She said it could take a month, and that in the meantime, since I was running in broken shoes, I could use duct tape to keep them from deteriorating further. Additionally, she told me that it was my fault that they were falling apart because I don't untie my sneakers to remove them. I have never had another pair of sneakers wear like that (no matter how cheap) and I have never made a habit of untying before removing. Manager said but this was the first pair I'd had with orthotics, and that was the difference, and this was a "common" issue. (If it's so common, and they knew it was my first pair of orthotics, why not mention it when selling?) Manager refused to commit to helping me if the company refused. I waited 10 days to hear something and didn't. Called the company directly, who helped me immediately over the phone.they were amazing. If the company was so quick to help, why haven't I heard from the store in 10 days? It's disappointing the manager was so adamant that the store bore no responsibility and it was entirely my problem and fault, and then suggest duct tape to keep my $200 sneakers held together. What a terrible way to deal with someone. I hope others have a better customer service experience than I did if they make the store aware of a problem.

I can't put into words how professional and great the service is at Soles in Motion. They genuinely take the time to study and analyze your feet to find you the right pair. I have had a great experience with the staff, they are all very knowledgable and helpful.

3 years of being a loyal customer here is now down the drain all because of the uselessness of the woman I dealt with today. I asked her to measure my foot cause I don't think I bought my shoes in the right size and she flat out refused. Said that it won't tell you the correct size.

I hope management sees this and realizes that they just lost a customer who told everyone to go get shoes there.

Today I purchased Brooks running shoes from Soles in Motion. The selection was excellent. They had exactly what I was looking for. I've been buying my runners there for a number of years. The staff are both friendly and knowledgeable. If you're looking for great quality and selection, its the place to go.

Went today for a great community event and there was also a Black Friday sale on! The staff are great, very helpful, knowledgeable and care about finding the right fit/product you need. They seem to be very involved in their community and helping their customers the best they can. I would highly recommend Soles in Motion for any footwear, bracing, compression or orthotic needs you have!

Nice little shop. The staff know their shoes. I need extra wide shoes and this is one of three places in the city that carries them.
