I have been for dine as well as ordered delivery. Just love the food and service. I am a vegetarian and they were understanding and did serve delicious vegan food

They make a great bibimbap and offers 3x different kind of kimchi with a miso soup & tea.
Great value for the price! Will stop by next time I'm in Halifax for sure

This place embodies village-core; delicious low-key dishes, buckwheat tea, and huge portions. I think I've gotten the gamjatang every single time, it's so good! Not amazing for a big group imo, more for a cozy dinner.

The Kimbap tuna appears to be made of fresh tuna on their menu photo but it’s just $2 canned tuna…not worth

Food is okay. Absolutely not worth the price. The kimchi was lacked spice and the portion was tiny! Give it more dried shrimp and garlic! If the restaurant is going to charge the current prices, the portion sizes should be generous. Service was mid and the owner was unfriendly. So, uh, not coming back here lol.

The server that we had at this restaurant was one of the best servers I have had in my entire life - she was polite, fun, engaging and extremely welcoming. The food was incredible and each dish was flavoured perfectly. We will definitely be back!

I am visiting from Ontario and went to this little gem for dinner. We were welcomed enthusiastically the second we walked in and had amazing customer service until the second we left. I lived in South Korea for 15 months in 2009-2010 and since being back have not found a Korean BBQ place that felt and tasted like the real deal - until Song's! The pork belly was delicious and the portions were very generous. Fair prices. Sweet staff. Delicious food. I wish I lived here so I could go every week. Thank you to the amazing owner that cooked for us and offered fun conversation. If you are in Halifax and love Korean food - this is your place!

This place is getting worse by worse I used to love this place before but now their food quality sucks. I order spicy rice cake it was literally drenched in water with no flavours ruined my whole day! I would not suggest anyone to go here. I was really excited to eat it on my break at work but it wasn’t eatable it was bland and all watery ewww disgusted. Please do better you guys are literally charging more than 15$ for it seriously.i will never order from here again.

I love this little spot! The food is always delicious and they are so nice. If you’re not sure what to order give the dolsot bi bim bap a try, it’s a sizzling stone bowl with rice, veg, fried egg and meat if you choose. The bulgogi beef is my favorite. Don’t forget to add the red sauce!

Portion is insanely small for a supposed bulgogi skillet “dinner” that costs $26.99. Not even filling up 40% of the plate. Quite decent taste wise.

I go to Song's as often as I can. Every chance I get to introduce another person to this restaurant I do it.
I recommend the Dolsot Bibimbap and the Kimchi Seafood Pancake. You will not be disappointed.
