The diagnosis was laxs, it could be this so would need to order this part was supposed to take two weeks to arrive, didn't hear anything for two weeks so called, the part had never been ordered. The part was then ordered, so another two weeks before an appointment was made to complete the job. Dropped off the vehicle to have the work done, we were supposed to receive a call Friday after fluid was checked, no call received and a call then to say work was completed again no call. Went back to the dealership on Tuesday, the job was not done advised would need to replace a transmission not just the part that was ordered, so now another two weeks to get that part and an appointment to get the work done. There was never an apology provided for errors on their part which should have been, that is just part of good customer service, not just saying "oh well". Would not recommend this dealership, very unsatisfied customer.

Truck was brought in on a Monday for a dead starter. Sat in the yard till Friday when I was called back and told the starter was dead! Only then was a new starter ordered, got the truck back on the following Thursday. Not cool. This repair should not have taken this long.
Update: I received a call today from the dealership. They were very concerned about what had transpired. I spoke at length with a member of the management team, we discussed the timeline, customer service in general, and managing expectations. This phone call and the resulting information sharing has changed my initial opinion of South Shore Chevrolet. Please note the change in rating from 1 to 4 stars. I will be a return customer. The Liverpool dealership has taken care of my 2009 GMC truck from new they always do a good job. I'm very happy with their service
