Went for an oil change. They found a leak in my exhaust. They offered affordable discount in replacement and did it on the spot. Because it did take longer than a regular oil change; they also drove me home and picked me up after the service.

I would like to give -5 star but there is no such option. I had terrible experience. They loot the people they take 300-400 labor for just 1 hour. Also, they do not fix the issue properly. But they focus on money only, not service. I recommend never go this place.

Good customer service. I had a small issue after they serviced my brakes and they corrected it no charge, the same day I brought it to their attention. I recommend this shop.

My car started making a loud knocking noise a few days ago while I was driving. My mechanical knowledge of cars is pretty limited so I called around to several different garages to see if I could get it in to have it looked at. Every place I called was booked out a month+.
As I was driving back into town I figured I'd try my luck with walk ins given the noise was quite loud. I tried Midas first who repeated the same thing I'd been told by other shops - they're booked up.
Feeling pretty discouraged I'd have to figure out a different way to work for over a month or risk driving a car making the noise and potentially getting worse I tried this Speedy location. They told me the same thing - booked up for at least a month but the fella behind the counter asked me what was wrong. I described the problem to him and he asked for the keys right away and drove my car up onto a hoist.
The mechanics gathered around the underside of my car and identified the issue very fast - heat shield was loose and was bumping into the muffler as I drove. They secured it back on and brought my car back down maybe 5 mins later. When I asked how much they didn't even charge me. Hindsight - the sound wasn't a big deal but I didn't know that. These guys helped me out in a big way and saved me potentially a month of anxiety when no other shop would even bother asking what I needed. To the guys there nearing close on Aug 15 - thank you again! I'll be bringing all my business here in the future and I'll be referring people here as well. These guys have it figured out. This is how you do business.

Complete conmen that work there they thought since I was a woman I didn't know anything about cares so they upcharged me for stuff I didn't need done 1000 %do not suggest wasting money there

I'm not one to review anything and everything UNLESS it is brutally bad OR exceptionally good. And (drumroll). BEYOND EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD! 5+ STARS. And considering I consider a great mechanic (garage) right up there with doctor, vet, accountant and dentist.hoping this helps anyone out who wants the same peace of mind.
Will keep this short, but this is how I came to such a rave review on just one single visit. We are road tripping across Canada and car slowly started to make an unknown noise (seemingly the front end). We were on the North Coast of NS at the time and tried to get into the most reputable garage I could find, but on short notice no luck. Settled for Canadian Tire. They could not diagnose the sound but said I needed new wheel bearings and that was most likely the cause. Seeing the cars milage and where the sound was coming from.had no reason to question. Lucky for me that I could not get an appointment in time before we had to be in Sackville. Upon arriving I once again did my research and looked for solid reviews. SPEEDY AUTO was the winner and were speedy to respond to my email with "no problem replacing wheel bearings" as well as a rough estimate (so I could at least compare to the previous estimate I had gotten). ALL GOOD! Took in on the set date and within minutes they told me wheel bearing were completely fine and that it was the tires (funny considered Canadian TIRE could not diagnose this). I did know tires were near end and I was just pushing them further than I should have. Tires and new rear link kits and car handles and sounds like new!
So an easy and honest diagnosis, on top of the fact that they could have easily told me I needed new wheel bearings (which they did not), as that is what I had booked it in for. THUMBS UP!
I only wish these guys were in my home town of Vancouver as they would forever have my service. But for anyone else looking. I vouch for them 100%.
