I had a great experience getting my hair styled for prom as well as getting my nails done. The stylist and nail tech were so kind!

I had an amazing eyelash perm/tint with Niamh! She was super sweet and the results were amazing. I would absolutely return and would highly recommend Niamh.:)

I had a few treatments by Katie today. She worked wonders on my terrible, damaged nails. The facilities are beautiful and clean, and everyone was so friendly.

What I love most about Spirit Spa is their amazing staff. I have had hair cuts, facials, mani and pedis and the team is always so knowledgeable and good at what they do. Shout out to Christine Fader who is a true skin genius - love her facials.

I had a great experience with Jessica. Usually I avoid going to the salon as I have extremely long hair and I'm always afraid that they'll cut too much. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and the hair cut was perfect, exactly what I wanted. She's also super nice and friendly. Im very happy and definitely recommend.

Call to confirm appointment morning of! Made an appointment online. Yesterday receptionist from Spirit Spa called me to ask if I wanted to move up my hair appointment slot so I won't have a gap in between my eyebrows and hair. I agreed. Today when I showed up the changes were not made in the computer and the front receptionist did not apologize instead offer me to wait an hour in there waiting area until my original appointment time. Not going to waste my time or money on a spa that has poor customer service and can't apologize.

Will not be buying gift certificates here anymore. This is a gift we've given my husband's family members every Christmas for the past decade because they love the spa and we wanted to give them 'the best' in Halifax. Spirit has cancelled every appointment—3 in total—over the past year. (They still have the GC's from last Christmas.)
My MIL needs to come into town for these, so it's exceptionally inconvenient travel-wise and is always a disappointment after traveling into town just for them. They'll have to use the GC's for products now since we have no trust in this place anymore. Would not recommend buying gifts for your loved ones from this place. (Two stars because the service is apparently good if you actually do get in.)

This is one of the best Spa's in the city. The staff are amazing, the ambiance is fantastic. I highly recommend going here for any spa services you want or need

I absolutely loved the massage that Jessica gave me. She did such a fantastic job getting rid of so many knots and used the perfect amount of pressure. I can't believe how many times I've thought about going back already! It was a very comfy experience, all the towels and blankets were very soft and warmed up before. Coffee was offered upon arrival, and I was even spoiled with a brownie afterward.
Jessica was also so sweet and informative, I couldn't have asked for a better massage therapist. She was fantastic about asking for consent and making sure I was comfortable the whole time, and very seriously took my asks into account.

Waited 40 minutes for them to tell me my hair dresser had an emergency and I wasn’t getting my hair done

This is a beautiful place to get pampered and the people are really nice but when paying for my service I felt uncomfortable that I was ask 5 times if I was leaving a tip now I leave tips with every service I have done but I don’t like feeling like I’m bullied into it so just for that I will not return for no more service and the woman didn’t even do the best service I had to come home and go over my waxing after paying 70 dollars plus a forced tip smh

I followed my hairstylist Morgan to her new location, as she is absolutely amazing! Shes nice, funny and fun to chat with and makes every experience wonderful! & then my aesthetician Jeni also joined this location and I couldn’t be happier they are both the best, nicest people!

I was hoping to be blown away by Spirit Spa as I did plenty of research before booking an appointment. I went for a lash lift and tint and left looking the exact same as before, but with $105 less. Overall, I was very disappointed, my eyelashes were not curled at all and if there was a tint, it was not visible at all yet the service costed a lot of money. I called and let them know of my disappointment and was told the receptionist would speak to the manager and contact me the next day about a refund. However, I was never contacted again. This displayed a low level of professionalism or care for their clients and I will not be back.

Nadine is the BEST colorist and stylist! She does the perfect blonde every time. Will never go anywhere else!

Massage itself was decent. Recommend knot free 60min massage than 30min. Service can be better; no refreshments were offered, pressured to tip more than 20%.
Service from staffs were little disappointing this time compared to past experiences. Masseuse was great tho

We photographed at Spirit Spa a few times for our wonderful brides, and it's such an amazing location for photos. Also, the staff are all so helpful, kind, and accommodating. They also do an AMAZING job on hair and make-up! Our wedding parties have never looked better and we are glad to give these guys a well-deserved 5 star review. Keep on rockin! <3

Great place for a massage. Complimentary steam shower after the massage and they allow you to use provided toiletries. Awesome experience!

Great place for a hair cut. Got my hair done by a girl named Jesseca. She brought me back to my youth afterwards with a happy ending after I gave her a hefty tip. We finished up business in the alleyway. Very pleasurable.

Pretty good spa, very clean, and gorgeous interior. Only reason they lost a star was my massage there was sub-par.

I go to Spirit regularly for massage therapy with Kielly Christie and she is THE BEST.
I had a great experience lately where I was about 10 minutes late for my appointment. I was disappointed because I knew my massage would be cut short. However, Justin was able to push my appointment by 15 minutes so not only could I relax before my massage, I also got my full hour in.
This kind of exceptional service is why I keep coming back to Spirit Spa.

Best place to relax, unwind and be pampered. Book a day for a facial, mani and pedi. You will feel like a whole new person.

I go to Spirit regularly for various services and am always happy with it! The staff are friendly and professional. I like how they go above and beyond in making you feel at ease. They offer complimentary tea and coffee in the lounge area and often have brownies to go with it! The space is quite large so the rooms are private and you don't ever feel like you're on top of people when getting a mani/pedi. They recently started offering online booking which is super easy and convenient if you can't call in and the text message reminders are an awesome way to keep tabs on your appointment time. Spirit is more of an experience than just a service and I would recommend to anyone needing a little self-care!

Clean place with friendly helpful staff. There is coffee, tea, and snacks available in the waiting area. I went in for a massage and had a great experience.

I was visiting a friend in Halifax and decided to try getting my hair done at Spirit because I have had bad service in the past. Alex did my hair and I am so happy with the result! She was super nice and really put a lot of effort into my hair. I definitely recommend her!

The massage therapists know what they are doing. Very professional and will listen to your concerns before carefully to make sure you’re getting appropriate treatment

Had a great massage experience. Started off a bit late but I got my full appointment and ended with a wonderful head massage.

I have been going here for my massages and by far it is the best experience I've had. ThllThe person who does my massage is amazing, listens to when I may feel it's too hard, and adults accordingly. The experience is amazing, and the showers are heaven! (Waterfall showerhead is AMSZING) and I get to swim in the pool before or after treatment. A+

The atmosphere in this spa is amazing, but I can’t justify getting another hair cut here again. Either my stylist didn’t know how to cut my hair or was in a rush, in any case, the cut felt lackadaisical. My stylist in NYC usually took 30-45 mins cutting my hair, going through every detail. But the stylist here took about 15-20 mins. After several days, I was still not entirely pleased with my haircut and ended up cutting my own hair where it was uneven. I would suggest to take your hard earned money elsewhere for a cut. (May 2019 - 2/5 stars)

EDIT (August 2019) : I had the opportunity to visit Spirit Spa a second time, and I’m glad I was able to. My hair stylist this time was Melissa - she was very friendly and she took the time to ask questions throughout the cut to make sure that it was exactly how I wanted it. This is the attention to detail I was looking for and I’m pleased with my cut this time around. This is a place that takes pride in what they do - thank you for a very pleasant experience!

Relaxing, welcoming and clean environment. First time visiting the spa for a pedicure. Would come again. Highly recommended

This is one of the nicest spas in Halifax. I have had two pedicures here that were both excellent and worth the splurge. They use Deborah Lippman polish (which lasts forever) and are very thorough. My one complaint is that they don't have any nail dryers and did not offer nail oil to help protect nails from smudging. I got a pedicure in the winter and had to wait 45 minutes for the polish to dry, which then smudged when I put my socks on. A drying station would be helpful, or nail oil at a minimum.

Had an excellent day at the spa here. Great massage and an amazing facial and hair cut. I felt like a million dollars when I left. I wish Vancouver had a spa this AMAZING!
