Multiple staff members offered assistance when searching for sneakers, checkout line was incredibly quick despite the long line!

Allen was a very good salesman helped with finding me a product and giving me important information.

Good thing bout sport chek is that i get to grab some really low sale price stuff.not just one but a couple if times.first was a legging with a tag price Iof 70 down to 18.97, a nike hoodie from 75 cad to 42 and the most recent was a nike lunch bag which was 35 dollars down to 8.99.most stuff on sale are for kids but youll eventually find some for adults on sale as well.im happy, indeed!

But not clear information about discounts and stuff not familiar with discount program. It was sad and repulsed desire to buy any shoes at all….

When you're just killing time and it turns into a shopping spree for your about to be 11 year old.lol.

Staff doesn't provide good information. We always encounter mos-information and confusion. Good stuff but poor service.

For the love of all that is holy STOP CHANGING YOUR STORE LAYOUT! Every time I go in there everything is in a different spot. I have to figure out the new maze you people have created and most times just get annoyed and leave. Pick a layout and keep it!

Good selection of products, organized layout, and helpful staff members. If you can’t find your size in-store, there is an option to ship the product to your home address so that you can still get the product. Decent sales throughout the store on a variety of items. More prefer more mirrors available throughout the store.

The staff was friendly and helpful but if your shoe size is over 13 your out of luck. Also can't find a hat there that fits me as well.

Bad Customer Service.

Was there at store at- 7: 15PM Friday.
I wanted to buy nike shoes, nobody cared to respond. The staff just does not care.

I’ll spend my $200 somewhere else thanks.

Very ridiculous customer service. Nd their manager is so rude. Their is no option for 0 star otherwise their manager deserve that. Store need to change their manager

I want to share my experience with you. Today we went to Halifax shopping center and visited sport check with my friends. My friend need to exchange her shoes which she bought two days back on her employment ID. We buy the stuff on regular sale and we paid jointly. When we were on the cash counter cashier asked her about her employment ID number and she gave her. Then a second employe came and he asked her to show her ID. She showed it to him. Then the third employee came and he start verifying on another level like where z the store, who is the manager there nd it was very strange experience as everybody was looking at us like we were stealing something. I feel so bad. We paid 250 dollars and god knows we are not going to wear those clothes. We did not even use any employee code. So rude and bad people. Worst experience ever! We are regular customer of sport chek now we hate to shop from Halifax shopping Center!

Great customer service on entering the store. A lot of sale stock available. Check out was slow as there was only 1 cashier open and she was dealing (very well) with a return and online order causing checkouts to back up

I have been going there recently for tennis gear and I always found good service and pleasant workers to deal with.

Men's winter jackets are not too plentiful @ Damascus and they are very expensive. What happened to Black Friday sales?

If you are looking for any type of active wear or sport equipments then this is the store you should be looking for. They've got a wide range of products with decent price.

Worse service ever. We just placed a online order in store with a sales clerk for a new golf cart. She checked availability and said it was available and to go up to the register to pay. We get to the register to pay but its no longer available. Usually with most companies if the employee starts a purchase for you it put a hold on the item. If not why even start the transaction if you can't guarantee the transaction that was already started.

This location has an excellent assortment of product and had much more available than the other locations I've visited. Dealt with Scott, who helped me find exactly what I needed and was very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Awesome experience. Lots of lovely shoes with a vast variety to choose from. The prices are good too especially when they are on sale

Very poor service went here to do some back to school shopping Shaw some really nice Nike but wanted to wait till I got all the back to school stuff so I ask the sale clerk if they had my size which they did so then I ask if they could put them on hold for a few HOURS the clerk took my name and told me they would be on hold. After me and my kids we’re done shopping we went back to get my shoe and the guy said he could not find them and Ask who help me earlier.so I gave him a description of the sale clerk I had earlier five min later the sale clerk I dealt with earlier came out to tell me that they have the shoe but “because there shipment guy was not in that I had to come get them tomorrow “
So these guys had two hrs to find these shoe so I could buy them but chose to not to and gave poor customer service

Just did a test run to see what it would be like re the new Covid 19 shopping experience. The gentleman at entry was nice, kept his distance and directed me to the correct area. However, the female sales clerk in ladies runners cut me off for another customer and broke the social distance rule. Not a great way to promote safe shopping! Please remind your staff of social distancing

I have been to this store at least 5 times in the last six months and I have to say that every time the customer service has been Outstanding! The sales people are so knowledgeable and oh so helpful! Thanks a million Sportchek Halifax!

This particular large store has the best staffs. I went to buy a pair of winter boots and the Hana assisted me to choose the best ones. She's knowledgeable, kind, supportive and cool but tipping is not an option to show our gratefulness. Ultimately I stayed there after the closure to finish the payment and she was doing her best to help me with this great experience. I also need to appreciate the cashiers and other staffs for the due diligence and customer support. Writing this hoping it finds its way to the higher ups to recognize their precious human resources.

Extremely disappointing customer service. Was waiting there for 15 min but nobody came. I came with a firm decision to buy Ripzone Backside jacket. A lady said she will come back to help me out but never appeared again. Saw her helping out someone else while leaving store. Perhaps I would have received a better service if was a white.

Update: improving service. The service rep Emily was extremely kind and considerate. She was handling more than one customer but never felt left out (she deserves a raise) Glad to see service is improving.

Awful experience in the Atomosphere location. Wasn't even acknowledged that I was in the store. This is a basic retail requirement.

Over crowded with product, staff was nowhere to be seen despite me standing in front of the shoe wall for nearly 20 minutes on a Monday morning, it wasn't busy.

I'm disappointed too; I'm generally happy with the experience from SportChek stores.

Mountain Equipment Co-op at least will recognize that you're in the store, and the people are enthusiastic about the products they're selling. Atmosphere? Meh.

I'd give it a zero if I could. The golf expert ducky has no idea What he's doing and doesn't even know what multicompound platinum golf grips are. Asked if he had any midsized Greg top white bottom. He said yes. So I drove 45 min to get there and he mistaken black and grey. Should find a new golf pro someone who can distinguish colors. F-

The store was busy, but I received the assistance I needed getting my new running shoes. I was in and out of the store quickly. Great customer service, friendly staff

Poorly laid out and the staff are helpful but the store is too large that they usually don't know the areas other than their own. So the staff try hard and do well with what they have but the store should be better organized.
