This place is so well done, I was genuinely surprised! You just don't get this caliber of venue in eastern Canada. Been to many car and race museums across the USA and Steele wheels can easily stand up with the best of them. Amazing attention to detail top to bottom. I'd love to see more automobila items for sale in the gift shop tho. There's a great opportunity here!

Lots of surprises. Just need to fix the jitter on the big screen and I'd watch all the F1 races there.

Better than I would have thought. Nice selection of vehicles and other stuff related to the history of cars in NS. Well worth it.

Amazing automotive museum! Lots of cars, mostly older domestics and classics. There's a few Lambos, Ferraris and motorcycles as well. They have the Mystery Machine from Scooby-Doo that you can hop in. The General Lee from Dukes of Hazzard, the DeLorean from Back to the Future (albeit in stock form, which is still neat). A cool car they need to get is the Ecto-1 from Ghostbusters. They have some racing arcade games and a small cantina with snacks.

Upon arrival, you are immediately struck by the museum's immense scale. Unlike what one might typically expect from a museum, this place is colossal. A massive hangar houses an impressive collection of classic sports cars and exquisite muscle cars. From authentic gangster Fords to iconic Porsche 911s and golden age Lamborghinis, there is something captivating for every classic car enthusiast. Each car is accompanied by a plate providing information about its year of creation and a brief description of its developmental history. The knowledgeable staff are passionate about their work and speak about the cars as if they were people who have made history. The 1975 Classic Volkswagen Microbus, for example, exudes an aura of Woodstock, Jimi Hendrix, and an era of free love. Trust me, you will catch that nostalgic vibe when you see this iconic car

Very interesting documented stories of Nova Scotia and International history. The most interesting part for myself was the older cars and trucks. Nice layout, but just a little pricey though worth the price of admission just seeing the ear to ear grin on our grandson in awe of all the vehicles on display.

Be mindful that they are closed on Mondays & Tuesdays, and the museum is closed when there are private events happening. If you are travelling specifically to see this, make sure you confirm by phone that they will be open! But trust me, it is worth the trip.

A genuinely good little museum/showcase, good for the Steele group for putting this together and getting these vehicles out of private collections for other people to see. If you are a car lover of any form, it is a great place to stop and look around. There was quite a number of vintage motorcycles too.

Everything is clean and well-maintained. There is plenty of parking around the rear of the building, so don't worry if the front lot looks "full" when you drive up. There is a small canteen on-site and a small gift shop. There are a few new racing-themed arcade machines, but you do have to pay to use those separate from your ticket.

Tickets were $12 for adults, $10 for seniors/students/teens, 12 & under free. If you take your time and read/look at everything, it will take you about 2 hours. The washrooms were clean and there are a few places to sit. They also have a large TV/mini theatre area that happened to be playing a rerun of the 2023 Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal, so I'm assuming they will probably play other recent motor-racing events in the future too.

I'm not sure how often they will rotate content since it is a new facility. Again, check their website and call ahead to make sure.

Definitely recommend, and very happy to see something of this caliber in Nova Scotia! Well done Steele:)

The Steele Wheels Museum has a great variety of cars, from classic to modern as well as motorcycles, all for your viewing pleasure. The venue is pristine, and you can get right up to the cars for close looks and photographs. There is also a mini arcade with car/bike related games. It's definitely kid friendly, but remember, like any museum, it's not a playground.
If you're an auto enthusiast of any level, you'll find something you like here.

Drove all the way here just to find out its closed for a private event. I understand that this isn't exclusively a museum but you absolutely have to update your website when you're closed for a private event.
If your thinking of checking it out make sure you call ahead to see if they're open because they apparently don't update the website ahead of time.
I've been before and it's definitely worth checking out if you like cool cars old and new.

An astonishing array of some 74 pristine vintage vehicles and motorcycles including a history of the automobile in Nova Scotia and beyond. A splendid venue for entertainment, business or other related rental possibilities. A must see.
