Stirling's Farm Market (Greenwich)

Went in from out of town to buy some local things. Went to the washrooms and the older woman cleaning them huffed at me as I walked to the open bathroom door when she was cleaning the other one and proceeded to rudely say “Well I’m trying to clean”… okay, and I guess I’ll shop down the road instead. Could be 4 stars if she didn’t work there.

Lots of great local groceries and some good gifts and boutiquey ingredients. Always a fun selection of in season things!

Awesome place for produce or quick snacks. Here’s a quick list of things you must try from here: the sandwiches, the coconut cream pie is something that should only be served to kings and the ice cream sandwiches are the best in the business. Local and great prices.

Oh, this place is lovely! The variety of local products for sale, and their quality is truly amazing! The clerks are very nice too!

I just got back from Stirling’s. There is a young lady at the cash register with short red hair (I didn’t get her name). Easily, the kindest person I have ever met. Well done, Stirling’s! She is an absolute asset to your business.

Our first Canada Day in Nova Scotia! Omg y'all! It doesn't get any fresher than this!

A Strawberry maple Sunday! The strawberries came from the field, that morning, just outside this farm market! The maple sugar came from Nova Scotia trees.

A rhubarb float! Homemade rhubarb syrup, 7up and soft serve icecream. So refreshing!

Man, it tasted like summer!

I love that Market. Super friendly staff, a wonderful assortment of different groceries, cakes, cookies, meat, Cider and so many fresh produce.
Love the ice cream. A must stop.

I’ve only been to the u-pick but really enjoyed it. Staff are very welcoming, and it’s a fun experience all around.

This is a must stop when visiting the Valley. Clean, friendly and a wonderfully curated selection of local and hard to find items. Go!

I like to get the flats of free range eggs from here but I always pick up a little something extra like their awesome ice cream sandwiches!

We went to Sterling's and picked pumpkins, apples and went to the haunted house. There was a wait for the wagon to return to pick us up from the orchard, but the Honey Crisp apples were excellent, there were many pumpkins to pick from and the haunted house was well done.
