Summerville Beach Provincial Park

Beautiful beach. Washroom facilities need work. They should be cleaner and more accessible to handicap. Also, there is more ramp access, too, the beach.

C'était notre dernier arrêt ont a même prit un jour de plus. Grand terrain bien situé. Belle plage et aussi bcp de sentiers pédestres fait pour vraiment tout le monde bloc sanitaire corect endroit ou laver sa vaisselle également disponible ça bien fini nos vacances. Je recommande

The accessibility was bad as accessible boardwalks felt and looked dangerous. Beautiful place but it looked rundown and not maintained.

Amazingly beautiful and CLEAN. It's like being on your own private beach. There are no restrooms or playgrounds. The beach is your playground.

Awsome beach and lots of space because the water is so shallow that when the tide is low there's lots of beach to walk, run or whatever

With the river at the end of the beach, one has the option of salt or fresh waters. Beautiful long beach. A bit short on washrooms & changing rooms but otherwise, wonderfjl

Beach was absolutely amazing. Lots of space and tons of white sand. Multiple parking lots and bathrooms. Picnic tables for cooking and eating. 2 walk ways go get to the beach. Water was cold but not bad maybe 17-18 degrees in august. Beach wasn't hard to find and the road leading there was well maintained. Great for a family getaway. Tons of mosquitoes in the parking lots but none on the beach.

If you like wide, deep and flat beaches with uniform, medium-sized waves then you will likely like it here.

Absolutely beautiful beach, with parking and public washroom. Direct access to the Quarterdeck resort.

Such a family friendly beach! Beautiful sandy beaches. The views are breathtaking. If you're fortunate, you can see seals playing a few meters offshore.

Nice nice nicebeing from the west coast it was great to be on a beach on the other side of this great country that i have been blessed to have lived in for 64 years. Nova Scotia.and PEI were a must see for every Canadian

A beautiful Sandy beach and due to its location or perhaps the time of year we visited September 1st. It wasnt crowded.
Lovely spot for a stroll or lounging.

This is one of the most amazing beaches and can challenge for the title of best beach in Nova Scotia (and beyond.)

I love Summerville beach. That train bridge jump has been a draw for me for years. This beach makes one of my top 3 in the province. White soft sand, clear water and not too busy.

We just stopped by for a few minutes but it was lovely. We are anticipating coming back to swim really soon and looking forward to experiencing this beautiful white sand beach.

Beautiful beach. Great place to have a picnic lunch. Picnic tables and wheel chair ramps. Water was nice enough to get into. Love it there.

Long sandy beach in a shallow bay allows the water to warm up to comfortable swimming temperature, not common on the North Atlantic. Basic amenities nearby. Great restaurant adjacent but with limited hours.

Great beach. Not overly crowded, limited parking.go early, e.g. Mid-morning. One outhouse by parking area.

Great beach next to local restaurants and NSLC agency store and convenience store nearby. Only a little more than an hour from where we live, we'll be back again soon.

One of the nicest beaches anywhere. You could probably put the entire population of Halifax on this beach at low tide and not find yourself crowded. It is beautiful.

Another great place to visit, walking with a friend or love one, you have to spend the day, take a lunch, the wonderful Summerville Beach

What a stunning beach! Absolutely pristine. Nice and wide. Easy to access, even for those with mobility issues as the boardwalk is wheelchair accessible. I visited in winter, but I can only imagine how packed this place can get over the summer!

Beautiful beach, even this time of the year. It's clean sandy lots of walking and peace and quiet.
