Was on the hunt for a veterinarian that would examine/treat the issues in my skinny pigs! Took them to sunnyview and feel so much better. They examined Mario and Luigi, prescribed them medication, and the care and compassion for my guineas was impeccable. Dr Marriott even cleaned their ears if you are looking for a quick, compassionate veterinary clinic for guinea pigs take them to Sunnyview! Thank you sooooo much

Had the best experience yet at a vet! Dr Marriot was so knowledgeable and understanding and I wouldn’t go anywhere else now!

Today I witnessed a budgie miracle under the skillful and knowledgeable hands of Dr. Goodall. My 12 year old budgie had a very large tumor that was growing from the area of his preening gland. Dr. Goodall was able to remove this successfully and my budgie is doing incredibly well! After a few short hours he is back home and eating, preening and acting completely normal. I thought I was going to have to say goodbye to this sweet little friend, "Sweet Pea". Instead he has a brand new lease on life. I have story after story of these lovely folks at Sunnyview. My poodle, my parrot, and my budgies have received the very best of veterinarian care all delivered with a whole lot of compassion and love! Thank you is so inadequate! Blessings to you all!

Sunnyview is one of the best vet clinics I have been to! Dr. Marriott and the team are extremely kind, welcoming and knowledgeable. They have seen my guinea pigs a number of times over the years and I cannot recommend them enough!

I had a feline exam today with Dr Wambolt.
She is a lovely, intelligent and very knowledgable vet who examined My cat Gabby and was very thorough and gentle with her.

Her assistant Paige was great with the cat also and she gently and confidently removed 7 tick nymphs from my cats eye area.
I had a few questions about medications, vaccines etc and both ladies were very informative and patient allowing me to make good decisions for my cat Gabby.
I would highly recommend this vet and the Sunnyview animal clinic.
I have had nothing bit great care there.

I have been coming to Sunnyview with all my pets (everything from birds to ferrets to rats and cats and dogs) for something like 15 years now. I can't say enough good things about them. Never once had even an unpleasant experience. Always been great. I'd give them 10 stars if I could. Thank you for looking after all my babies over the years. Youre all amazing.

We have MANY animals and we’re looking for a vet for our bunnies. Sunnyview took us right in and was absolutely amazing. We’ve switched all of our animals to Sunnyview. They genuinely care about your animals as if they were their own. I’m so so so happy I found Sunnyview! I can’t recommend enough.

We absolutely Love how everyone interacts with our boy! He is sooo excited to see everyone when we bring him for his appt. We always get the care we look for and a ll our concerns and questions are always looked after! I have never experienced such care and affection for our pet! Much thanks to Dr. Marriott and her team! This is a great place to take your beloved pet/ all the staff are friendly, very caring with your animal in the examination room and actually make the visit fun vs stressful

I cannot praise this place enough, the level of compassion from both the vets and the staff is more than words can state! Just had a new puppy and a very anxious senior dog in for both of their first appointments and it was an exceptional experience.

Very thorough initial exam provided. Thoughtful comments and suggestions offered for the care of my cockatiel.

Where to start. When I moved to Halifax 10 years ago I was worried I'd never find a vet I could trust with my large and mostly exotic family. Thankfully we found Sunnyview and Uncle Jeff, who have always treated my scaly kids with nothing but respect and love! Over those 10 years there has been a lot of funny moments and a lot of heart break. Sunnyview staff have been there with my husband and I through all of it, and they always handle my often over the top pestering with ease. My furry and scaly family might be smaller now but I will always count the staff at Sunnyview as family.

We've since moved 2 hours away but they will always be our vet and I will always stand by them as being the best!

Really liked this place. Until I didn't. Had a pretty rough experience over the past couple days between this place and the emergency center in Dartmouth. The best part was when the office manager called me while I was driving home from emergency to address my concerns. By address my concerns I mean he cut me off mid sentence because I used the word "hell" in one of my exasperated explanations, I'm worked up for sure but I don't think the word "hell" is a very big deal. But whatever, he's taking a firm stance while I'm distressed about my pet, that's his choice I suppose. Next, and I'm a little fuzzy here but I got the impression he was trying to blame me for not calling them right away, he then argued with me about the time I called in, which seems silly because I have all of the calls in my phone's call history with a very clear time beside them. I liked this place and I think they are great with animals. But I am completely shocked by not only the lack of compassion but the fact that the manager took such an aggressive approach to someone clearly going through something that's pretty tough for them. For this reason I suggest due diligence and caution when dealing with this establishment. If you decide to use them I hope you have a great experience, but know that they definitely have a harsh side as well.

Update: So as I think about this more I think he called out the time of my call because he was looking at MY phone number when our first call came from my girlfriends. Either way, is the time I called in really what we are discussing when I'm upset about my pet having emergency surgery?

Interesting response. Feels a bit fabricated and definitely hostile but I will respond anyway. If I brought anyone to tears I am deeply sorry. Both calls I made to your staff I indicated that I understood how busy they were and that they could not help me but that I was feeling lost and out of options and was seeking advice on any other locations they knew of that I could try. Unfortunately for our area the only option is a single location so their advice was the same each time. The second call I was especially desperate because our cats symptoms had worsened and I was hoping your staff could aid me in relaying that to the emergency center as they refused to see my cat at this point. Your staff did this for me and I thanked them profusely. Then, much later on my call with, I believe the owner, I made the comment that I was confused about what the "hell" was going on. And they immediately took the below approach with me. This is fine, perception is reality and it is quite clear how I was perceived here, true or not. I've shared my experience, people can judge for themselves. Best of luck in future endeavors.

It was our first introduction to a vet in the HRM and it was very positive. The clinic was very thorough in their examination of my pups, I did not feel rushed or pressured with my questions, and their responses were detailed and forthright.

Dr. Goodale took the time to allow our nervous rescue dog to warm up to him and the tech prior to vaccination. They treated her with kindness and respect and made it as positive an experience as they could given our dog’s anxiety.

Amazing service! The staff are all so friendly, sweet and caring. I've been to several vets throughout HRM and this is definitely the best one. Thank you so much for caring for my babies!

I've been bringing my furbabies to Sunnyview for several years now and I can't say enough good things - the team there is wonderful! Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. I can't share enough good about this place! The staff is so friendly, patient, and compassionate. Dr. Goodall goes out of his way to explain everything in depth and even does personal check-ins with his clients, which I'm very appreciative of, especially due to the most recent health escapade with one of my girls.

I've trusted Sunnyview with the care of my cats since I moved from out of province in 2012. Even though I now live in Dartmouth, I will continue to make the trip to Bedford to support this clinic.

Dr. Marriott is always a pleasure to work with. She does a great job at keeping me informed and answering my questions. I always feel they have my pups best interest in mind and it’s not about up-selling at Sunnyview. It’s about making sure your pets are well and thriving.

Dr. Jenn is so knowledgeable, so through, and so professional. Her entire team are on the ball, and doing a great a job at communicating effectively with Pet Parents through COVID-19. They can effectively answer every question a worried mom has, and reassure both Piper and myself.

I could write a review after every appointment and it would be the same! Sunnyview has a lovely staff and wonderful doctors. The clinic goes above and beyond to help you and your pet feel good, to answer questions and encourage you to to reach out if you have concerns. I’ve referred many pet owners to Dr. Jeff and they all say the same thing. They are all very happy going to Sunnyview, as am I.

Had a very difficult issue to deal with regarding a dear pet and found that even with the covid 19 systems in place was given the support that was needed to make a difficult choice. Professional and compassionate these people are the best. I would and have trusted them with delivering the best care possible. Thank you for being there for us. Highly recommend them.

The whole clinic is amazing, super helpful, super attentive, our two mid aged doggies are very thankful to be taken care of there by so many great Dr's. Dr Goodall feels like family at this point he has a big heart and extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Dr Jeff is an awesome doctor. Freedom loves him and I trust him and respect how he take the time to talk about what you are doing right and what you can do better to help promote better standards of living for your love ones. I admire his love for his clients babies.

I just want to thank Dr. Goodall for being so slow to the point where my animal has died after a week of misdiagnosed. Unprofessional Dr and staff.

We are very happy with our experiences at Sunnyview. Talking to Dr. Jeff almost feels like talking to an old friend which makes the experience very comfortable. Dr. Jeff recently helped us work through some issues with our kitten Gilligan. We appreciated his knowledge, the time he took to talk us trough everything and his patience for my never ending questions. We found the services we received to be thorough and convenient, even with social distancing in play.and most importantly, caring. We are comforted to know that Gilligan and brother Professor will have Dr. Jeff and the amazing team at Sunnyview if needed in the future.

Dr. Jeff brought us through a hard time with our dog, we are very thankful for his care. Very professional, yet very personable.

Awesome appt. Full check up and puppy needles done whilst continuously on the phone due to COVID 19 but Bean obviously had a great time and we were very impressed by how thorough and informative Dr Jeff was. We just moved to the area and were referred to Dr. Goodall by my cousin who takes her dog there. Very friendly staff as soon as we walked in. Nice clean waiting area, separate areas for dogs and cats. As soon as we checked in we were told that appointments were running a bit behind due to an emergency. We greatly appreciated this, it prepares you right from the get go that there will be a bit of a wait. When we did get into the appt room, the techs were very apologetic and also very good with Tucker who was getting a little wound up from the wait. Dr. Goodall came in shortly after and also was very apologetic about the wait and explained that there was an emergency. Despite the wait and the fact that he was running behind he did not rush through the appt. He took his time asking questions about Tuckers history and explaining throughily expectations for Tuckers health as a senior dog, and answered all questions we had. Great experience and looking forward to having this team look after our boy.

Answered any and all questions I had about my gerbils, told us to call if we forgot something or weren't sure about the medication. Very reassuring, 10/10.

I needed a vet for my brand new puppy, since my cat has been seen by a cat only clinic since first moving to Nova Scotia. My searches lead me to Sunnyview and I couldn't be happier with the care we've received to date. We travel from the downtown/waterfront area and feel the care we receive is absolutely worth the short 20-25 minute commute.

I have seen Dr Goodall and Dr Levesque. Both are well informed, kind and thorough. The support staff (office & patient care) are very knowledgable, calm, kind, and helpful. Some of the best I have seen! Glad to have found a vet clinic that works so well for cedar!

We were incredibly pleased with our appointment with Wally and Eedee (despite being given the unfortunate news of Eedee having lyme diease). Dr. Jeff gave us all the information needed to make an informed decision. We felt absolutely no rush or pressure during our visit. Dr. Jeff is completely honest and transparent. All the staff were pleasant and made us feel welcomed. We were sent home with a booklet full of information from our check up and given an email incase we thought of any questions after the appointment.
