Super 8 by Wyndham Amherst NS

Went for a birthday for my granddaughters.the service wasn't bad, just not really customer friendly, and when I say that, I just mean there was no greeting when we walked in like a hello or a smile just kinda got ignored. The pool area was nice, but a lot of chlorine to a point where it was hard to breathe. But the kids had fun, that's the main thing right also there was a drain or something at the bottom of the pool they need to fix as one little fella walked on it and it hurt him he cried and has a nasty bruise on the bottom of his foot today

Check your bill before leaving - was charged extra on credit card which wasn't spotted until I returned to UK!

My room was on the road side of the hotel and was noisy with road traffic.outside of that the staff was very helpful

I want to give them 5star for the cleanliness, the sheets and the towels are folded and made perfectly everything are white clean and spotless,
Then I happened to change the sheets when
i saw the bloody bed and bed protector it was, i asked for the stuff needed to change the beddings and they comply right away, the staff are all friendly and approachable

Trip to Moncton for Guns & Roses. Closest hotel/motel available at time of booking. Very reasonable price for suite. Desk clerks, buffet staff very accommodating and friendly. Located on beautiful grounds.

All was good until my children were told that couldn't use the pool today because there was a birthday party using it. As guests, I was not just annoyed but my kids were very upset as we chose this hotel because of the pool. Any hotel that refuses guests the use of the pool because of people having a party, is not a hotel I will give my money to EVER again.

We stayed in a family room (1 queen bed and a queen bunk bed). Good if you have multiple kids or a couple teens. Room was a little worn out, but ok. Beds were comfy and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. We didn’t use the pool.

Having my children told that they could not use the pool was the biggest disappointment of her stay and the one that stands out the most! If you are looking for a hotel that will allow your children to use the pool during the times that the pool is open do not choose this hotel because they like to tell their guests when they can and cannot use the pool so that they can make cash on the side from people who are not guests

Very clean and nicely decorated, breakfast was plentiful and kept tidy, and the veterans parking and motorcycle wash station was a great addition.

Just went for a swim and the whole process was super easy. Very friendly staff. Reasonable price.

A motel right on the highway looked exactly the same from the outside. We were warmly welcomed and given a room at the quieter back. All of our needs were met. The service was very friendly, the furniture was a bit old, but everything was clean. The swimming pool and gym were open for a long time. The option to wash and dry laundry was very convenient for us, it was clean and inexpensive. Overall a recommended hotel.

Great stay comfortable beds and I really appreciated them letting me check out late! 10/10 would stay again

The rooms are clean & decent, the location is great spot to navigate the town and the service is generally good.

If you're taking your kids here to swim, be mindful that they'll kick guests out of the pool for "private" functions. These functions were very frequent. I feel if you're advertising an amenity to guests, you shouldn't also kick guests out to make some extra cash on the side.

We often come here for the pool as it is a great option for anyone in the area with kofs looking for something to do. You call the front desk and book your time (1.5hrs) and it is under $10 per person. Perfect for winter days.

My partner and I also come here if we cannot drive after an event. Something people should know that if you are a local then you will receive a discount for your stay!

Recommend asking how many birthday party pool rentals they have during your stay. We wanted to take our kids on a nice little vacation choose super 8 because of the pool and slide. Had other options choose here. We checked in at 2: 30 was told we could not use the pool until 7: 15. We then spend the rest of the day listening to kids ask when can we use the pool. At 7: 15 we are standing outside the pool waiting to be let in and then get told that we can’t use the pool until 9: 00. They had 3 birthday parties that day and 2 the next. We had to have a list in our room with the times we could go. Yes they gave us $20 both nights and gave us a 1pm checkout (I had to work so it was no use to use anyway). But we will never go there again. Our second time staying there and the last.
