Super 8 by Wyndham Windsor NS

I don’t even know where to start, my parents room had MOLD in the air conditioning.absolutely sickening, there are stains everywhere, there is a hair on my pillow that is not mine.this place is disgusting i cannot believe people are saying it’s clean here because it is no where near that statement. The lampshades in my parents room are also stained yellow and brownish for some reason? I don’t want to touch anything in this place i am exited to leave here and never come back i’m the morning. I’D RATHER SLEEP IN THE CAR.

Typical chain hotel. Fine for a stopover. Breakfast surprisingly even with reusable dishes. Relatively expensive compared to many nice B+Bs or other hotels on our tour.

I booked rooms at this location for my clients and they really enjoyed their stay. Very easy to get to other parts of the Valley or to the airport from here.

Very clean rooms & helpful and friendly staff. Room service was excellent and efficient.

I booked a room through Expedia because it was cheaper than what the hotel website was offering than Expedia changed the date that I put in so I called the hotel direct and they told me they could do anything I would need to call Expedia which you can’t find a number for, when I told the hotel that I was coming to stay so I was close to the Hospital where I was having surgery in the morning than they where able to help me change it to the date I needed, so I contacted Expedia through there online avatar and got my booking cancelled, than I had to call the hotel again and get it all straightened out finally, we arrived just after a snow fall and the walkway from the handicap parking wasn’t salted so I told the attendant, we went to our room on the third floor, than we decided to go get something to eat, when we got the walkway was still icy so I told the attendant again, they said they did salt well I said you didn’t salt from the handicap parking spots on the other side of the doorway, we got back to our room and it was a bit hot so wanted to cool it down but when we turned it down the thing made so much noise we couldn’t leave it on, the bathroom toilet was so low you thought like you where sitting on the ground and no hand talk or anything to help you get up, in the morning apon leaving we discovered that it had either snowed a little over night or just blowing snow but outside the main door and the sidewalks where snow covered and not salted which I complained again to a different attendant, I had to walk to my vehicle in the snow with sneakers on because I was going for surgery to get my vehicle cleaned off and pickup my wife at the front door, so trying to relieve some of the stress of going for surgery not having to drive for an hour we came to the hotel 3 minutes away but had all these issues, I wasn’t a happy camper especially what you pay to stay a night.

Great customer service was stuck for an extra night due to a snow storm and they accommodated us wonderfully gave a great storm rate.clean rooms and extremely friendly.would definitely recommend and will be staying again

Really surprised about how great our stay was. Pool, hot tub, breakfast, cleanliness, all excellent. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Maybe just upgrade plugs for USB but otherwise lovely.

It was a quick trip for business and our first time staying here. Rooms were great! So clean! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will be back!

Hotel was well kept, beds were soft, room clean. We were traveling with our pet and given a room on the first floor by the back door, which for some would have been convenient for going out but we found it to be loud and would have preferred a different room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was standard fair. Would stay again and recommended to others.

Great value. Wifi is a bit slow at 8mbs and the tv is small but the rooms are large, clean, service was good and the HVAC works well.

Great location for Windsor activities. A bit to be desired when it came to cleanliness though. We had to have staff come right away to wipe up sticky cup rings on the tables and the shower was very dirty.

My husband and I stayed here overnight while on a 30th Anniversary road trip, and the location, the room, and the staff were all wonderful! Very much enjoyed the loyalty member goody bags!

My family and I stayed at this Super 8 in Windsor NS, and had the most wonderful time! The staff is what makes the difference, we were very welcomed here and if he had any issues we were taken good care of. The manager Glenn is excellent. Would recommend. My children loved the pool! We stayed 2 nights and they went to the pool 3 times! The water slide was great too.

Note: This would be a good hotel for anyone with pets.

As described in other reviews, this is a basic hotel that for us was clean, modern and having booked the room with the hot tub was above average for the rate we paid.

If you are in the Windsor area there really isn't any other option other than B&B's and one motel that we drove by that honestly looked like it should be torn down.

The main con here is location. We planned to hit the pub downtown and did not want to drive back so we walked from the hotel. It's about 45 minutes with lots to see and would have no concerns walking this area at anytime of night.

If this is a stopping point for you on a trip further into the valley as it was for us, you won't be disappointed as it's right off the highway and just down the road from a grocery and beer store.

If I could give it z I would. Glen is a peace of work the owner don't car about the place nor what happens to it

The grounds were clean, the room was inviting and tidy and our check-in went smooth as butter. In-room cable TV let us all watch a movie while we relaxed after our long day of travelling.

Breakfast was quite nice, with something for everyone to enjoy (including a pancake machine). I had pancakes, coffee, a small bowl of cereal and a yogurt. Tea, hot chocolate and coffee were available, as were Apple or Orange juice.

There is also a pool! It's not one ment for lane swimming, but it's a nice place for the kids or adults looking to stretch out their legs. The hot tub was delightful, and swapping between the hot tub and the cooler water of the main pool was invigorating.

Our check-out was easy and fast, with such friendly staff!

Booked months in advance, wrote on our file that we needed and would pay for extra time for my fiancé to get ready for our wedding with hair and make up etc, and they completely overbooked and refused to accommodate us. Everywhere remotely close is booked solid as there are multiple weddings this weekend. Complete F$&! Up. Will never in my LIFE consider booking with this sort of management again for throwing such a huge wrench into our one big day. Unbelievable.

Dirty not very friendly the TV didn't work the phone didn't work the AC didn't work properly had to find somebody to come in and help with the TV and then when we turned it off the next day it wouldn't work again actually lucky I even gave it two stars

Great place, clean and has an indoor pool with Hot tub. Great for when travelling with family and kids. Continental Breakfast daily included.

Friendly, helpful staff, clean spacious room and most importantly a great night's sleep.
The only reason it's not a 5 star is because the hot tub wasn't working, and the "swimming pool" was only knee deep in the section from the slide entrance, so not exactly swimmable. But otherwise a fantastic stay.

Great spot to stay when in that area of Nova Scotia. It was central to our locations that we visited.

Fun place to spend a rainy day. They allow the public to come in and use the pool, hot tub, and water slide. It's $8 a person.

I've never really been to that particular super 8 but they're all pretty good and it's right there off the highway so great spot I think

Hotel was nice loved that they had a room with a queen and a bunk bed. Kids always love bunk beds. However they were not very sturdy. They moved back and forth like there was a screw loose. When my husband looked there was a screw that was almost out that he had to tighten. Also we booked the hotel over March break so the kids could enjoy the pool and have a night away. There was also a hockey team there on the Thursday night that we stayed that were not acting properly in the pool and coming down the slide with their feet out straight creating huge waves so the younger kids could not go swimming at all. My 3 year old had to sit outside the pool while they did that all night. The parents were not doing anything. My 6 year old went down the slide and got hit at the bottom by one of the boys acting out because they were not waiting for people to reach the bottom. Very disappointing to spend money to have a nice night away and only be able to sit in the hotel room because parents do not parent there kids. Probably will not go back.

We chose this location because it is close to the Martok Ski Hill. There are also several restaurants, a grocery store, and a NSLC nearby. Our daughters loved the Minions-themed bunk beds and the swimming pool with water slide! The CAA discount was another bonus we appreciated.

This place is NOT clean my friend found a half eaten Dorito bag. My bathtub was cloged after one use my other friend found popcorn on the floor. My mattress cover was balled up into the center it was not a nice stay.

Room was clean, spacious and well appointed, included a safe for valuables, microwave and minifridge. The bed, bedding and pillows were very comfortable. I had a nice view of the hills, and was close to a supermarket, restaurants. My only complaints were that the air conditioner was quite loud (I ended up unplugging it) and the coffee at included breakfast was pretty bad. The 24 hour access to hot chocolate was very nice. There is onsite coin operated laundry and the pool looked nice though I didn't get a chance to try it this time. Customer service was excellent. Close to the highway but remarkably peaceful.

I enjoyed the location. It was nice that it was out of the busy Windsor downtown. I attended a baby shower and the room we were in was a great size. The pool looked like fun.
