Surplus Furniture in Sydney is the best store to shop for all furniture items. My in store experience with the Ashley & Saurabh was excellent. They were extremely helpful and assisted me throughout the buying process.
Additionally, the after sales experience and support was amazing.
I would highly recommend for anyone looking to buy new furniture or replace existing old furniture to shop at Surplus Furniture because they have it all. Thank you Ashley & Saurabh.

Don’t deal with this store the finance place they deal with called lendcare tried to screw me over. So if you deal with these people expect the same to happen to you

I am appalled with this store and whole heartedly believe it should go out of business. No one should have the misfortune of finding themselves with an item that breaks not even a year in and have their customer service give snippy attitude when have to ask more than once for any form of status of a warranty claim. I made said claim in January and not a peep. So I have been more than fair waiting to place my review.
You may be sales people but if your providing a warranty, you are expected to fulfill your obligations till that year ends and then it goes to the extended provider.

I purchased a sectional couch in March of 2023. The sectional was delivered May of 2023 (approx 8 weeks), somehow I was sent 2 blue pieces and 1 grey piece. As of writing this it is now August 2023 roughly 90 days since I received the wrong color, and about 5 months since I ordered the couch. During this time i've received many different reasons why it hasn't been delivered yet - Its on a train being shipped, halifax floods backed up deliveries, etc. It seems to be a different answer from every person I talk to. I was told today that since I have had the couch for so long they can no longer do a return, they are not willing to give me the floor model piece, so my only option is to wait until they (if ever) deliver the correct piece. When the wrong piece was delivered I did not even want to keep it in fear that this would be the outcome but i was assured by their staff that this wouldn't be an issue and everything would be fixed up for me. For further context shwartz sells the same sectional and I was told they could have it delivered to me within 2 weeks, and looking on ashley furnitures website they estimate a delivery of 30 days. Needless to say I am extremely unhappy about the entire situation. After this experience it would be hard for me to ever recommend anyone purchase anything from here.
