Sushi Nami Royale (Dartmouth Crossing)

Restuarant/waitress were nice but the Sushi gave me food poisening, I was sick with vomitng and diarrhea late into the night.

Visited from Toronto and first time trying restaurant. They had a good variety of selections. I chose the dinner special with soup and salad which were both very good. The sushi plate had California roll, spicy tuna, assorted sushi and sashimi. The platter was good but sashimi was cut a bit too thick. I have eaten a lot of sushi and sushi Nami was just okay.

The seafood ramen is amazing and extremely filling, they don't skimp on the seafood. Also had unagi Maki and it was very fresh. Great drink deals too

Pretty good, not the best I've ever had but perfectly high quality and able to accommodate groups.

My experience was only ok, here’s why. I brought my son with me he’s 8 months old and requires a high chair for his lunch. The highchairs there are certainly not for infants, maybe a toddler would find it safe, which I’m not even sure of that. I had to hold him with one hand the entire time while I tried to eat. The seat didn’t have the option to tighten any further than it already was and there is no between leg bar. Just a very loose buckle. He was easily able to wiggle his legs out of the buckle it had. I understand I’m a small portion of the guests but I feel it’s a simple fix, I’ve been to many other restaurants, this has never been a problem.

I did end up spilling my soup on myself accidentally and the staff handled it wonderfully. I got a fresh soup and they helped me clean the mess, but I think it would have been avoided had I not of been trying to support my son in the highchair, so he didn’t fall out. Which if he had of, this could be a bigger issue! I won’t be able to return for some time now because him and I cannot enjoy our meals.

I will say the staff was great, food was wonderful and presentation was perfect. Wish I could come back sooner.

Always great quality sushi and a variety of traditional and fusion options. Love sushi and this is one of our favorites in Halifax.

The dartmouth crossing sushi nami is our go-to spot for sushi. I crave it all the time and it's always so consistent and delightful! The service there is the best I've ever had every single time, it's unbeatable. We drive 30 minutes one way on an almost weekly basis just to get sushi from here. Can't recommend it enough!

The quality of this restaurant has gone way down, our meal was not very good. There are far better sushi offerings in HRM.

It's a sushi place in a big box industrial park. That should say it all. But the food is consistent and the prices are reasonable. Staff are professional and prompt. Would be a good work lunch suggestion.

The food here is the absolute best. It’s always fresh and consistently amazing. The service is always wonderful as well.

We Were in Dartmouth crossing and thought we would give Sushi Nami Royal a try for lunch.

The food was tasty and fresh. The service was fantastic and I would like to thank Han for a job well done. He made sure we were looked after and was very personable with a positive attitude.

To start we ordered Goyza (Japanese pan fried dumplings) to start. I ordered the Gianto Maki Combo which was tasty. My wife ordered the Beef Bento Box and my daughter ordered the Sushi Nami Deluxe Combo. For desert we ordered an order of Mango cheesecake to share.

Overall the food was very fresh and tasty and the service was second to none. The one area of opportunity that I would like to mention is the sushi could have been rolled better as some of our rolls were loose and falling apart. I would rate a 4.5/5 only because of the loose sushi but will round up to 5. I will return back because of the great service and tasty food and will update my review if it has improved.

Wait staff was nice but the food was very low quality. Sushi rice was poorly done and the assembly was so bad and uneven all pieces would unravel the moment they were touched. Side salad and Miso soup should not be the best things experienced.

Great service. Very good food. Good quality sushi. Yummy desserts. The ambiance is ok, but food quality more than makes up for it.

Best unagi Don I have ever had! The service was fast and the staff was very friendly. I came during lunch rush but was still able to order and eat during my 30 minute lunch break. When I'm not looking for all you can eat sushi I choose here.

Wow, super fast! I had 20 minutes to spare for a meal and they had me served, paid and out the door in 14 minutes.plus it was midday. Skip the fast food and go to fast Sushi Nami.delicious!

Restaurant is clean, but it has a very strong smell of chemical, perhaps disinfectant? Food taste fine. But not if you want authentic Japanese Cuisine though.

(HIGHLY RECOMMEND GENJI SUSHI which is practically next door to this restaurant) Rude on the phone, (there was hair in my sushi) I asked if they could move my pick up time a bit later, but they didn’t make my food around that time they made it an hour before I said I would be there. Hung up in my ear when I tried to thank them, extremely rude. Gross food and awful service.

We stopped in for lunch on a whim after shopping and were pleasantly surprised. We got “the boat” and it was the best quality sushi we have had in recent memory. Extremely fresh and generous portions (even the rice was amazing).

The service was exceptionally friendly and timely as well (our server recommended the spicy miso with a side of crispy tempura bits - she knows her stuff).

My son took me there today for Mother's Day. It was such a great experience. The food was outstanding and our waitress 'Mo', was very attentive & friendly. I will definitely be back & would recommend this restaurant.

Very solid choice. Preset chef choice option seemed to be somewhat pre-prepared. Sashimi pieces seemed fresh but not the nigiri pieces. My extra nigiri pieces that I ordered were huge and totally fresh. Extra points for size of extra nigiri pieces and sashimi pieces. Overall I was happy. I'd come back again for sure.

This is mine and my daughter's FAVOURITE restaurant for so many reasons, not the least of which is the food! It is always fantastic with top notch service and a friendly staff which make for a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended!

Undoubtedly the best Japanese food we have had in Atlantic Canada. Fresh, crisp ingredients. Beautiful preparation. Attractive presentation. And all delicious! Such friendly and quick service. A keeper.

Best volcano roll I’ve ever had! It was busy during my visit so it was a bit of a wait for my food but all I can say it was absolutely worth the wait!
