Excellent Food. I often buy food from here. Last time I got a metal piece from the food. Very bad experience. Adding pictures below! Not safe, I’m not even sure did I swallow some other piece!

Hayat was the best manager in halifax restaurants, she deserves the best. Food and quality are excellent and this restaurant is A+ and Hayat is A+

Best donair in Metro! Dropped in midweek, mid afternoon for the donair wrap. Gotta say the taste was absolutely terrific; the ingredients and spices were expertly combined with not one particular ingredient overpowering the next. In other words, execution of the production process was done expertly and with great care and attention to every detail. Wonderful food with that definite vibe and flavour of the Levant.

We had a fantastic experience at Tanoor during our second visit. We ordered several dishes, including the Kibbeh, Mix Plate (2 orders), and Syrian Beef Wrap.

The Kibbeh, priced at $9.99 for four pieces, was the highlight of our meal. It was extremely fresh and delicious, making it the best Kibbeh we have ever had.

The Mix Plate, which costs $18.99, offers great value for money. It comes with a variety of items such as salads, rice, beef and chicken shawarma, and pickled vegetables. We were impressed with the generous portions and the delicious taste of all the items on the plate.

The Syrian Beef Wrap, priced at $13.99, was another standout dish. Unlike other shawarma places that use pre-cooked chunks on a grill, Tanoor's authentic beef shawarma was made from a real giant beef shawarma skewer that tasted divine. It was a true delight to the taste buds.

Overall, we had an excellent dining experience at Tanoor. The food was fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced, and the staff was friendly and attentive. We highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Middle Eastern cuisine.

The food was good but I ordered a poutine and there was no cheese on it, it was tasty but not what I ordered.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tanoor restaurant, where I ordered the Mix dish which consisted of both beef and chicken served with rice, salad, hummus, pickles, garlic sauce, and pita bread. I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed with my meal.

First off, the taste of the Mix dish was simply amazing. The beef and chicken were both cooked to perfection and seasoned just right, making for a mouthwatering combination of flavors. The rice was fluffy and flavorful, and the salad was fresh and crisp. The hummus was smooth and creamy, while the garlic sauce added an extra kick of flavor that really brought the dish together.

The best grilled chicken I've ever tasted in Halifax, and the chicken shawarma is nothing short of amazing
