TD is one of the worst banks you can go to! They do not give any care if you get scammed out of your money. Even though one of the points of putting money in a banks hand and paying a monthly fee is so that You will be protected and insured for things like this!

This bank is very short staffed. It takes forever to do your business.
Parking is non existent because the parking lot behind is full of staff cars for the whole building.
The street is very busy and impossible to get a parking spot.
I wouldn’t recommend anyone using this bank for anyone who can’t walk or stand for any length of time.
My rant.

Really nice and friendly people. I have been there like 3 times and they’re always nice and quick. In the beginning I read all the negative reviews and felt biased but my recent experience (May 2022) was very good

GARBAGE Service; I am closing my account at my earliest and moving to another decent bank. It tooks hours to get a cutomer rep over the phone and the same in branch. TD only cares about profits and not the quality of the service.

Last summer my partner went into this branch to get a new debit card for himself. He had his own account, but him and I also had a join account. The teller, who was a younger woman (early 20’s maybe) somehow got into my personal account (no idea how, this account is in no way connected to my partner) and completely cancelled my debit card and issued a new one. She knew she made the mistake but did not notify my partner, she just played it off like everything was fine and gave him a new debit card. I still do not know what happened to the debit card she issued for my account. I didn’t find out about this until I went to sign into my online banking the next day and kept getting an error saying “the debit card number I entered was incorrect”. This was over a holiday weekend, so I could not get a new card.

We were travelling to another province for a trip to see our families and I had to do this without a debit card and without the money that was in my bank account (because no branches were open for me to get a new card). It took me 2 weeks to figure out what had happened.

Finally the manager called me back to tell me exactly what had happened. She played it off like it was a small, innocent mistake. She went as far as to say she was “kind of glad it happened because it was a good learning opportunity for her staff” and when I asked her why I wasn’t notified about my debit card being cancelled and another card being issued she said she teller “wrote down my number to call me but accidentally threw it out and feels really bad”. How dismissive this manager was about this situation was really shocking to me and her lack of customer service left me feeling nervous to even do banking at this particular branch.

I eventually reached out to someone higher than her who was extremely apologetic and offered me something to make up for the mistake. I was very appreciative.

Cape Breton is brutal for customer service and this bank branch is no exception. I’m not sure if it’s because “everybody knows everybody” so they feel it’s okay to make mistakes and give poor service or maybe they feel they won’t be held accountable because it’s their buddies mom or something.

You need to have better service, work faster and more efficiently and treat the mistakes you make seriously.

Ordered a credit card that was accidentally sent to my home branch in Ontario and I asked them to redirect it here. I was told I would get a phone call. Waited over a month before deciding to check in person. The teller was rude and super condescending when I asked her to check if my card was there. To her surprise, it WAS there (they hadn’t called me) and even worse, the envelope was ripped open. Horrible customer service. Would never bank with them again, lazy and don’t know how to do their jobs. On top of that, are condescending and rude!

Extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service and overall knowledge of the staff. I am a long time customer with td and have recently set up accounts for my 3 children there. While setting up my 2 youngest accounts I was VERY detailed on what I needed these accounts for, that I need online access to transfer money to my daughters. After stating this NUMEROUS times I was told they were set up and that would be no problem.
I later come to find out that is not at all what she set up and I had no access online to e transfer. I then went BACK to your branch to fix this and the woman went on to say oh well you cant do that and theres nothing to fix it on a very condescending tone.

I will be cancelling both accounts and possibly my 5 accounts and both credit cards, and my son's from td.

The worst customer service ever I have seen, OLD WOMENS are working, with old and slow service, take about 10 to 15 min just to deposit or withdraw the money.
The Head teller, The FAT lady with glasses full of attitude have no manors how to deal with the customers, if there is any annoyed customer she get mad and talk load, like a nonsense person. 0 rating for this branch, need more work on hiring good staff. Specially Head teller lady. 0 out of 10 to her.

Rude customer service, will never bank there again. Two weeks you must book in advance to talk to a financial advisor. " TD we are here to help" more like here to over charge and give 0 services to its members. Trash!

Terrible bank staff on the whole are not helpful and are not knowledgeable if it something more complicated than depositing cash or withdrawing cash. They also seem to get an attitude on them too.

This bank is useless, the employees are idiots, they set voice mail and leave it weeks after it is no longer relevant.take weeks to get back to you. Pity anyone who has money stolen from them by this bank.

Been going here for 17 years now. Staff have always been professional and I've never experienced any problems.

Two 24/7 banking machines, one out of order, more then once wouldnt accept my pay checks, this week wont take cash as deposit's.
Poor customer service that cause's problems in my business ventures.
Your machines should be fully functional 24/7 and maintained regularly.
I WASTED MY TIME AND GAS BY GOING TO YOUR BANK TODAY!
