Gees…how come no reviews ever mentioned this motel is built with thin wall. No matter what my next roommates said we heard clearly.

Sadly that there were a gang of ppl gathering just outside our room until 3 in the mid-night. We were not able to sleep.

Put this apart, location of this motel is great. The room was clean, but we definitely won’t come back again

Gentleman at front desk was super nice and informative. We pulled in late and left early and he was there both times to welcome and see us off. He gave us a full breakdown of the Cabot Trail and all of the must see stops. If you’re doing the Cabot Trail this is a great spot to start at.

Feel like living in a historical site but Hotel is neat n cozy. Need to walk like a, like. Strong cleaning odor in room so I need to leave a gap on the windows and I think it came from the sheets. Curtains are dusty, thank god I have my.

Very nice hotel in a historic building. Unfortunately we were only there one night. The rooms are clean, quiet and well furnished with air conditioning. Some rooms are a bit smaller, but it's ok for a few days. Very nice and helpful staff. The restaurant is very good and has high quality cuisine. There is no breakfast, but there is a cafe opposite with breakfast. Very close to the museum about Alexander Graham Bell.

This hotel has an authentic charm to it. We really loved our stay here for 2 nights. The rooms are very clean and they give you an upgrade if there are last minute cancellations. The staff is incredibly friendly! There is no breakfast but 2 really nice coffee shops close by. We also went to dine on our last night in the Cable Room, which is located in the hotel. Amazing food! Overall I recommend to stay here if you're on your way to explore the Cabot trail or happens to pass by.

Quaint rooms in an old house close to everything in Baddeck. Great host, showed us all the best hikes and view points around the Cabot trail.

The rooms are relatively small but nicely furnished. Unfortunately the bed was too soft for me, so I had back pain the next morning. No breakfast is offered, but there are very good cafes nearby. You can have dinner there. The food is very good.

Beautiful house. Rooms beautifully furnished. Daily room service. The restaurant is very good with nice employees.

Stayed in the motel portion. Rooms were adequate. Sound proofing was lacking. Main lodge restaurant was excellent.

Loved staying here for 2 nights while driving around Cape Breton. Such a quaint little hotel with lots of history and well preserved. However the rooms are renovated and are a great size.

It's a nice place, don't get the east facing rooms cause the sun will wake you (or better drapes), the room needs a fridge and was a bit disappointed with the meal.

Quaint and full of character, this is an ideal place to stay and explore Baddeck and the surrounding area.

The Cable Room is a fantastic dining experience too.

Beautiful old heritage home. Rooms are updated and simple. Meets the needs of an overnight stay. Close to restaurants and other amenities. Tv had the minimum (5) channels, if that is what your looking for in a room.

The Telegraph was recommended to us. It's a pretty old business but we were comfortable in our room. Great location and close to many good restaurants. It's a short distance to the Alexander Graham Bell museum.
