Terra Cafe

Terra is a great cafe! Their drinks are excellent and food tastes fantastic. I had their bagel BLT sandwich recently and thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. Definitely worth a visit if you haven't stopped by already! Saturday mornings are a great time to go because you can also check out the farmers market.

This is the new jewel on the Halifax coffee scene. No surprise, since they hired the best manager in town, and every aspect of this café reflects an attention to detail that sets a new standard for other places. Cozy decor? Check. Scrumptious patries freshly baked on-site? Check. Perfectly calibrated espresso machine? Well-trained operators? Check, check. Nothing is left to chance, and it makes for the most ideal experience of enjoying a delicious coffee on a cold winter's day. Amazing work!

Wanted a quick coffee and pastry for my walk by the waterfront and grabbed their lemon scone as per the baristas recommendation! Best lemon scone I’ve had probably in my life!

When I left Toronto to visit Halifax I certainly did not expect to have the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had, yet here we are.

P.s.: this review was meant to be about having the best lemon scone I’ve ever had, but they pulled a fast one with the sandwich…

Dropped in for a coffee and some sweets with a friend today and was pleasantly surprised. Coffee was on-par with most of the higher end Cafes in Halifax, and the sweets were devine. The Cafe was clean and had room for us to sit! All of the staff members I interacted with were friendly and helpful! I'll definitely be back

The owner/staff are super friendly! Very cute spot to hang out for coffee, the gruyere+thyme scone was TO DIE FOR.

This is my favourite cafe in Halifax. The vibes are absolutely immaculate and they always have the best baked goods. Great staff & delicious lattes too!

A nice quiet little place to get away from the busy harbour front. Drinks were great. Pastries delicious. Staff very friendly.

Atmosphere is amazing, being right inside such an old, history-filled building adds a lot to the over-all feel.

Really good coffee, good prices, friendly staff, lots seating even with social distancing. One of the employees came around and gave out samples of their lemon scones, amazaing!

Lovely atmosphere. Beautifully appointed. Baked goods looked delicious hut I didn’t try any! Pictured here is an Americano (4$ with tip). The staff were in a super cheery mood and had lots of good info to provide about the establishment. I was able to sit at a table with plugs to work!

Update: the nice man at the front also gave me a chocolate chip cookie <3

My new go-to for a daily coffee, their drinks and baked goods are consistently delicious. Our office recently had catering from Terra and it was a huge hit with everyone!

I stopped by here for a coffee the day after it opened and the service was fantastic! They were fairly busy but my order arrived quickly and the gentlemen at the cash was very friendly. I didn't have a chance to order one of their pastries but it was all presented well. I'm excited to go back!

Nice coffee shop, oldies music is def not for everyone and a bit loud but you can chill outside the shop in the common area thing in the building.
Great coffee and services

Nice but overpriced for small portions. I had gluten-free avocado toast and it was small. I order avocado toast at other places in the city like Dilly Dally and feel the portions are more reasonable. Also was confused that they put half an egg on my avocado toast. Why not the whole egg?

Cute spot but doesn't have me running back. (will say a friend went by and had a regular bread, not gluten-free, and was also disappointed in the price & portion size.)
