Terra Rossa Trattoria

Terra Rossa is a gem and totally overlooked IMHO, by so many people walking along the main street, looking for a place to eat. Turn the corner, and come and eat here, you won't be disappointed. The menu is half/half Indian and Italian. My husband had the Bengalese butter chicken and I went for the buttternut squash ravioli. Both were delicious. We chose the Indian-inspired rosewater tiramisu for dessert and it was heaven. There's definitely someone with flair cooking in the kitchen. Highly recommended.

I had the pleasure of dining here. The food was fantastic, the chef definitely knows how to put a good Indian twist on napoletana pizza. Honestly wanted to try out everything. Definitely worth a visit because I am definitely coming back. Bala, the restaurant manager, took care of us with a personal touch. He made the visit feel special. The dessert was also banger.

Indian and italian dont go together, but have seen all kind around here so nothing surprising there. The food is decent, portions are good. Try the chicken katsu burger- best thing there so far!

I stopped in to Terra Rossa on a Saturday evening by myself. The restaurant was quite quiet. However, it was close to closing time.

Never having been and knowing I wanted to try something new I asked the waiter to bring me whatever he thought would be a great dish.

He served me up the taste if India and it was absolutely delicious. Everything was exceptionally flavorful with just the right amount of heat. I couldn't eat it all myself and had a delicious brunch with the leftovers the following day.

I will be back to try something from the Italy side next time!

Great environment and our server was friendly and knowledgeable. We had sausage and onion and a gluten free butter chicken pizza. While it was good overall, the sausage and onion pizza had a pond of water in the middle of it making it very mushy. I had to eat it with a fork.
The GF pizza was cool on arrival, but not bad as the flavors were on point.

Lovely brunch today after a trip to the market and the bookstore. Great service and delicious food. Highly recommend!

This little gem of a restaurant offers the BEST food in Wolfville hands-down! A fresh, unique, delicious chef inspired ‘dual-menu’ of Italian and Indian dishes that will make your taste buds sing! Sooo good! Service and atmosphere is amazing. In the heart of Wolfville but off the main drag of Main Street. We’re obsessed!

I’ve been here a few times now and the staff and food is by far the most amazing in not only the valley but Nova Scotia. Like most people my wife and I enjoy a good pizza and since moving to Nova Scotia we had not found that “place” until one day walking into Terra Rossa Trattoria. Walking in the smell hits your nose and starts teasing your taste buds almost immediately, now I’m not Italian but if I were I’d imagine this I what it’s all about. Everything about this place is perfection, the food, the staff and owner all work so perfectly together to create an amazing experience with a hint of addiction.
From one pizza lover to another this place is an absolute must. Enjoy

I got take out, and loved it! Such good dough, and a mix of traditional and unique toppings! Easily to order and pay online. Quick service and text updates when the order should be, and is ready. The location is easily accessible from anywhere in town as well! Would definitely go back and try dining in.

The best butternut squash ravioli I’ve ever had! The rest of my table got pizza and LOVED IT. Will definitely be coming back!

We enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere so much. We had our 3 and 5 year olds and they also liked it there. We had the featured dishes scallops and calamari for appetizers and home made seafood spaghetti and margarita for kids all was very delicious.

We came here for dinner on a Friday evening. Our waitress Amanda was warm and friendly. We had the bruschetta, which was absolutely delicious- one of the best we’ve had. We also had the Margherita pizza- the sauce was exquisite. Definitely recommend this place. It was surprisingly quiet given the amazing food.

This restaurant is a very special place. A must stop when visiting Wolfville in The Valley. The food is truly out of this world & they have a great selection of local beverages. The atmosphere is wonderful and they have created an amazing fine dining experience. Highly recommended but be prepared to pay premium prices for your food.

Pizza was great! Staff quite friendly but not obtrusive. Only complaint was the crazy wasps on the patio.

Delicious food with a beautiful patio. The Italian style pizzas were truly that and absolutely delicious. The chicken sriracha was awesome, just be prepared for spice and the classic pepperoni was just what we wanted. Absolutely amazing Caesar salad that tempted even my non veggie eating son into eating it. Nice selection of local beers and wines and great service. We will definitely be returning next time we are in Wolfville.

Truly Italian pizza, pasta and antipasto! Good deserts as well.

Decided to try this place while visiting AcadiaU. The pizza came alright although slightly burnt for my liking, but the pasta was mediocre. Think I will skip this joint next time.

This spot was our favourite meal in Wolfville on a recent trip! My partner and I ordered pizzas which were to-die-for delicious. Wines were expensive, but the food was affordable and cheap for the quality we got. The back patio is a lovely atmosphere, and the service was wonderful! I cannot wait to come back the next time I'm in Wolfville.

My wife and I had a wonderful lunch today at Terra Rossa. Excellent wood oven pizza with fresh made tomato sauce and nice crispy pizza crust. Nothing tastes better than a wood oven pizza with high quality ingredients. The salad was also fresh and delicious. It was worth the short walk from main street.

Covered patio was nice and cool on a hot day. The pizza and Caesar salad was delicious. Server was friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend.

3 pizza ordered. One had no burnt taste. One pizza, not slightly burnt but a burnt sacrifice. It got replaced with one that had just enough burnt to leave a bad taste. And the 3rd pizza.left a burnt taste in your mouth. It is hard to taste anything else. Waitress said burnt crust is normal because oven is a hot one.

Drove from Dartmouth to try this place. So many items on the menu were enticing, we were deciding what we were going to come back to try for a second and third time.until our food arrived. We each picked up a sliced and every topping spilled off. The entire pie was a SLOP. Couldn't eat it without a fork. Dough was a soggy mess. I could have seen past that if it was delicious at least, but both our pizzas were such a let down. Majorly lacking in flavor. The sauce was so bland. The pesto was bland. The dough wasn't special. We've had amazing authentic italian dough, you can't beat it. Both our pizzas were underwhelming. It was a waste of fifty bucks and we have no interest in going back for a second time.

I came here to experience Napolitana style pizza. I ordered Margherita pizza and it came with covered burnt semolina and too much tomato sauce. Taste was so plain because it cooked without olive oil and parmigiana. I was hoping to have better pizza experience. I haven’t tried other foods, they might be tastier than pizza but I wouldn’t recommend pizza here.

Also server was rushing for all service, I would like to be more comfortable to eat my food and enjoy my wine.

Very nice salad! The Caesar salad with kale… yes! The pizzas are good. Service is very good and friendly. Music is a little loud. Difficult to carry on a conversation.
I am glad this place is open again.

Probably one of my favorite restaurant in the area in a long time. So delicious.

I was blown away with the service I received yesterday. I attended the restaurant with my dog, the staff gladly served me on the patio no problem. The weather wasn’t the greatest out so I was super grateful that I was permitted a seat at the patios The quality of the food was amazing.

Delicious pizza and our server Hanna was fantastic. Nice quieter place just tucked off of main street.

Took one of the orders wrong, and instead of taking both back they left my partner with her meal whilst I waited for mine. So much for a nice date night!
