The Binnacle

Disappointed. We spent over $4,000 here. Out of what we bought the only thing that hasn't fallen apart is our standing rigging. The split pins rusted out good job we noticed them, the salt water tap we bought eroded when used with salt water, the masthead wind indicator fell off and disappeared and the handheld VHF stopped working on the second use. We emailed the binnacle however they were no help at all.

Excellent service when one of the products was shipped faulty, they corrected the issue very professionally.

I sent an email for advices about a battery charger. Receive the reply 30 minutes after the opening. Perfect start!

I bought the unit that you suggest, receive it 24 hours after my order, and install it right then.

It work right on, look good and is of a higher quality than my previous one.

The Binnacle has the best customer service. I emailed them about an issue on my PFD on Monday night, and they responded and contacted the manufacturer immediately the next morning. Then, they shipped out a replacement and return label by Wednesday. It’s been less than 48 hours since my first email - really appreciate it. Thank you!

These guys & gals are great. I order some new halyards for our US25, forget that I needed to replace our outhaul and was able to get my order updated and shipped within hours. Really easy to do and fantastic customer service. Thank you Binnacle folks.

The young people working here are great, and super knowledgeable, and most importantly patient. I drove over 4hr and spent over $400 worth of gear that the youngsters helped with. I realized I forgot to put some cheap cotter rings, so I swung back to the store. I was specifically looking for a pigtail style, so I asked the old guy with glasses standing behind the “help desk”. What a mistake, so condescending and rude. Tried to tell me the standard style cotter ring was the same as the pigtail, shaking his head and rolling eyes when I explained the difference. I’m fairly new to sailing, I don’t know everything, clearly this guy knows it all. The younger guys and girls there are the only reason I don’t give this a 1 star, and return all the gear I just bought.

These people don’t have any idea about the products they are selling. I got a half empty can of epoxy and no help from customer service because “we don’t have any experience with the product”

I had an excellent experience shopping with Binnacle. Their prices are very competitive, and the ability to purchase wire by the foot was a huge plus for my van conversion which required a multitude of different gauges. After my first order I had a few questions, and received top tier assistance from customer service. I received a response in a timely manner, and they even followed up with a phone call after I missed their first email. Nothing but good things to say, and I would shop here again in a heartbeat.

Shout out to Tony. Warranty issues are normally taken care of by the manufacturer, but we ran into a supply issue with getting a replacement from them. Binnacle stepped up and has taken care of getting me a replacement part and will deal with the manufacturer directly for me. That is above what's required. Thank You.
