The Coopers Inn B&B

12/10. I have stayed here a number of times over the last few weeks as I have been in the area for work. Amanda is a sweetheart and lovely to chat with during the "social/wine" hour she hosts for guests on the patio. The rooms are all very comfortable and offer all the amenities you could desire.

Such a lovely space and atmosphere Amanda has with her beautiful space. She gave us lovely local recommendations and was so kind throughout our stay. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful historic inn. Fantastic breakfast every morning.

Really nice place in a very pretty part of town. Amanda was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Our room overlooked the courtyard and all the flowers. We’d definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Excellent B&B. Wine on the patio in afternoon was a nice touch - got to converse with inn owner and another visitor. Great breakfast. Comfortable room.

Amanda runs a wonderful ship.welcomed with a glass of rose, rooms with warm comfy beds and tasty breakfasts.

This place saved us!   We needed to find a place last minute in Shelburne.   Amanda was able to book us and our toddler for two nights in the Crowell Room.   It was a beautiful, luxurious room and the inn is located in the heart of the historic district. You can walk everywhere and we could see the ocean outside of our window.   The breakfast was especially delicious. Amanda and the whole staff were so kind in accommodating us and our toddler, going out of their way to proviode him with a crib and high chair.   Thank you Amanda!

Beautiful location, beautiful B&B, great and friendly staff. Definitely worth the stay.

Amanda is a vibrant upbeat "natural" innkeeper. Beds were wonderful, food excellent and her attention to the little details does not go unnoticed. Great place to stay!

I recently stayed here with two members of my family. The location is great, the rooms were clean and breakfast was great. The Inn has loads of character. Most importantly, the beds were super comfortable. We stayed here at the start of an eight day road trip and all other beds were measured against the beds here. These were the best!

Amanda is an amazing host, we always have a great time at her place. The gluten-free waffles are out of this world.

We love this Inn! We've stayed here many times over the years. Rooms are always clean and cozy. Relaxing in the garden with beautiful flowers and herbs is a highlight. Very good location - walkable to shops, restaurants, museum and harbour.

Charming inn with super friendly and informative staff, comfortable rooms, amazing breakfasts and a gorgeous garden area to hang out in. Walking distance to museums, shops and restaurants. So glad we stayed here instead of Lunenburg which is jammed with tourists. Great place to stay for a couple of days or more while exploring the area. Will definitely return!

Though it was a very brief stay for work, everything about Coopers Inn was wonderful! Amanda, Cheelo and the rest of the staff are friendly and helpful. The location is perfect with wonderful views of the water. The rooms were clean and stocked up with everything from coffee to body lotion. Definitely coming back and highly recommended!

If I could give more stars I would. From check-in to check out, nothing but amazing things to say. Amanda and her staff are extremely accommodating. My room was perfect, clean, quiet and comfortable. The grounds have a cute little garden and patio area perfect for morning coffees on the sun or quiet afternoons with a good book. Breakfast was superb with lots of options for everyone. Hoping to return to the area and when I do there is no question about where I'll be staying. Thanks for an awesome stay.

I've been wanting to stay at The Coopers Inn for years. Friends who have stayed there had nothing but great things to say about their experience. The new owner, Amanda, is lovely. However, there were a few things I was not happy about.

First off, there is a dog. I don't mind dogs, but do not appreciate being barked at at when I walk in the front door. This happened at check-in and at breakfast.

I loved the bed in the room; very comfortable! The wing chairs were also nice.

I did not like the A/C, which was very noisy. Thankfully, I was able to turn it off and open a window.

The towels have seen better days. The amenities [shampoo and soap were on the cheap side

The coffee maker did not work! The fishcakes were not fishcakes; overcooked with lots of root vegetables and no sign of fish/seafood. Great coffee!

Loved the garden, and Amanda was gracious enough to allow me to sit there after checkout.

Overall a 3.5,

Delightful visit! The new owner was a gracious host and answered all my questions with a smile. Hopping for the opportunity to return to see how she puts her own style and spin to the 200+ year old building. Thank you very much for accommodating our needs.

This is a highly historical and extremely comfortable B&B along the waterfront in beautiful Shelburne NS. The B&B's innkeeper is solely focused on ensuring that her guests have a great stay! The rooms were upgraded, super clean and very comfortable. The home cooked breakfasts were outstanding. We had a great stay in Shelburne and would highly recommend this B&B!

Excellent quiet place off down a lane. Friendly and funny inn keeper. Comfortable room w/ king bed and that relaxing b&b feel. Great courtyard within a stone throw of the water. Well worth a stay.
