The Doryman Pub and Grill

Ce restaurant peut mieux faire facilement. Il possède une jolie vue sur coucher de soleil mais les vitres sont sales donc difficile d'en profiter vraiment et de prendre quelques photos. Le service était bien en deça de ce que l'on a vécu pour le moment au Canada. La carte est plutôt sympathique et les prix tout à fait corrects. Le chardonnay était très bon et les plats d'un rapport qualité prix OK.

Good food, we arrived in the middle if a "band" or a group of fiddlers and as they finished a band setup.

Maybe it was fiddle week vut fun none the less.

Crazy to think you have to pay an $8 cover at a place like this.but food was pretty good unfortunately we got The older blonde lady as a waitress and she was absolutely terrible! She honestly shouldn't have a job with all the mistakes she made. MAKE SURE YOU SIT IN THE YOUNG PHILAPINO LADYS SECTION! She's honestly the only waitress that is on top of what's going on

We went to see Colin Grant perform and it was a great show! Can't speak about the food since we only got drinks. Well priced drinks. It seems like a lot of locals go here and some tourists too.

Older decor restaurant which is fine as it fits the area but was expecting the fish and chips to be better

Came for the music and early dinner. $8 cover charge, Canadian cash only. Meals very poor quality. Service was fast but didn't bring waters as requested and seemed to usher us along. Music was fun but not at all a place for a good meal.

Great find before setting off on the Cabot Trail. Great choice of food and excellent service

Awsome atmosphere, fair prices, live music. Definitely worth going if you're in the area.

Fantastic spot for Live Entertainment and great home cooked meals!
Live Entertainment from 6: 30-9: 00pm.
Showed up on Friday night and their food special was two pork chops, choice of Te'o veggies for $16.00 and Wings were $1.15 each.
Ended up ordereding 10 Hot & Saucy and 10 Maple Bacon which was a dry rub
Both flavors were excellent.
The boss ordered the Pork Cop special which was hearty and cooked perfection.
The entertainment was fantastic as well.
If your in the area, you must stop in for lunch or dinner. Keep in mind, the restaurants close nightly at 8: 30 or 9 pm.

Loved the atmosphere and it was definitely a local hang which is a great sign. Waitress Krista was really nice. Great live music Food was typical pub fare- not really impressed - but the live music and craft beer made for an nice evening.

Stopped in Cheticamp for the night on our way back to the mainland and was surprised to stumble upon the Doryman. Such a fun vibe with live music, and the young lady serving us was really great!
It’s definitely a local hot spot for a beer with friends, and a decent dance floor to dance the evening away. Would recommend for some good old pub food a drink and a time!

What a fun place! Definitely check it out for live music (especially on Tuesdays for the traditional Acadian music!).
We ate here on a Monday for dinner when there was no music, and found the food to be good but not excellent.

The service was good, but they were super busy so it could be slow. They were definitely running the entire time though, so it was appreciated!

We stopped in for a late lunch and to hear live music and had a fantastic time. The fiddler and piano player were terrific and the it was a great relaxed atmosphere. We had yummy bar food and great beer. (The lobster roll wasn't great, but the poutine and Irish nachos were very good.) It also has nice views of the water. Show up about 20 minutes before the music starts to get a good seat.

Great food. Great atmosphere. A little understaffed so be patient. The waitresses are great but they're moving as fast as they can.

Great food and a cozy and friendly ambiance. Caught some great live music while there and I'd highly recommend this pub if you're in Chéticamp

Service was good for me. I was through on a Thursday evening after riding the Cabot trail. I had the lobster roll and my wife had a burger. Both were tasty. Beer was cold and the service was good. I would go back if I am ever in the area again.

Stopped here on the way home from a weekend of hiking. Delicious food, cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and live music. Will definitely be back when I'm out this way.

Lobster roll looks small but has lots of meat and is very tasty (recommend changing fries to salad for $2.50, esp if you have multiple orders with fries). Doryman burger and Bacon wrapped scallops are very good. Mussels are okay

Super busy and I think because of that they either didn't prepare the food well or don't care cause they know they'll get patrons either way. Had to wait forever for the check and while waiting I went to restroom. They cleared the table and I had to go bother the waitress to get the check. Then had to stand while waiting.
