A must stop place for anyone traveling in the area, hard not to walk out with a ton of goodies!

Move over Mary browns this place has the best chicken in town, had a popcorn chicken poutine and the ratio of popcorn chicken to French fries was truly on point

What a great place! They have almost everything. Not your typical touristy old grandma’s country store. Although granddaughter said grandma started this place years ago. Very nice regular clothing, outdoor clothing, outdoor equipment, toys etc. They have food coffee ice cream etc.

Underwhelming beyond belief. You here and see alot about this place and it's outshines just about everywhere but clearly advertising by just the smaller shops around Cape Breton.

Nice place to stop for a quick lunch/snack! We like the Flora Buns. Also have a variety of baked goods, fudge, ice cream, etc.

Waited over a hour for our food. The dining area was freezing with no heat. Ended up getting the food to go. The breakfast was just dumped in a box, bread was soggy from the grease. Will not be coming back here.

Really good business and committed to buying local still whenever they can in these challenging, inflationary, times.

I always stop here when visiting my family in Cape Breton. The service is excellent and they always have lovely home-backed goodies and delicious fudge!

An absolute must to stop here on trips to Sydney. I wish there were such a place here in Amherst!

We started out in the gift shop which had lots of cool unique items for sale. Then we had lunch. I had the hamburger which was tasty. My wife had the bacon cheese hot dog which was also very good. They even have a great playground for children.

I was expecting more grocery items but found a few things to stock up on for the weekend. I did get a windbreaker for some planned hiking on the trail.

A combination of coffee, sweets, ice cream, knick knacks & over priced clothing! Public washrooms are far from clean. The lady working on the clothing side didn't care to help with any questions we had. We won't be back to this spot!

Always a nice stopover. Prices are over the top. We ordered a large fries. The price was $6.90, For the large portion of fries, and just fries, nothing else. Will not be stopping here ever again, unless it's a necessity.

Beautiful little store with great gifts, and knick knacks, souvenirs and tourist trinkets. Amazing homemade pies, breads biscuits, icecream. Great pit stop if your in the area. ️

I met with the owner. He was a nice gentleman and explained recent improvements to the facility. I wish there was more local cheese and honey.

Fun space to stop by for a snack or to check out the gift shop. Farmer’s Daughter has a food area, an ice cream shop, a bakery, a grocery store, and a gift shop. Lots of markers indicating how far you are from here on route. We had the potato skin, the corn chowder, and the strawberry short cake. It took around 15 minutes to receive our order and there was a small space near the back of the shop for dining in. Food was alright, but not memorable. Worth dropping by as there are may be something that you might find interesting there.

Try the buns! Wonderful place filled with great food and smells in a beautiful location. A must-visit in Whycocomagh.

Excellent fresh made product. The service however is very disorganized. Nobody seems to know who's on cash, or where the line is or it starts.it can't seem to handle more than a couple customers in the store at a time.

Everything fresh from fruit and vegetables to baked goods. Wonderful lunch I had the fish taco, which was in reality three tacos. Cod, scallops, and shrimp. Great service. Worth stopping at on your drive around the Cabot trail on Cap Breton island.

Environment is great, staff great! The menu is straight forward and offeres many good choices to decide from!

My father and I stop here all the time. Dad loves their war cake or as they call it raisin cake. I love their Molasses cookies!

Breakfast was good and coffee was good my wife loves the gluten free baked goods and shopping around in store. Over the years we spent many weekend's dropping in.

Fresh home made bake goods! You can't go wrong here, this bakery also has a take out, ice cream, fudge oh my! You name it! They have it. Perfect place for buying your Christmas gifts it's truly a sweet idea.

Really neat place but employees less than wonderful. Actually rudest people I have met since I got to Canada three days ago. Wonderful ice cream only redeeming quality.

Large selection of gift ideas, clothing, food items, etc and a lot of nice stuff. The customer service was terrible. The cashier was extremely rude and just slapped a paper bag on the counter and walked away

Cute little boutique, bakery, and eatery. This place has great "tourism items" like jams and coffees to take home of you are purchasing items along the way for gifts. Prices were fair, workers and cashiers were friendly. Very clean.

I got to this place before closing but everything was already locked. They seem to close before 7: 00pm!

Well, started going to this bakery years back and has done and kept everything as good. The bakery has great selection and in cases still warm! The porridge is the best! They also have a great take out too! Oh the bakery is real homemade. You can smell it right away when you walk in the door!

If you've driven past, turn and go in! Fresh baking, preserves, crafts, gifts. A unique experience that will make a returning patron of you!
