Perfect B&B in Port Hood - immaculately clean, very well appointed rooms and common area, comfortable bed (yes, this is worth saying … amazing how some places forget that you’re going there to sleep!), super friendly and knowledgeable hosts, and superb breakfast. Couldn’t ask for more … and at a reasonable price, The Fiddle and the Sea is a great value.

We had a very good time here. The breakfast was just amazing and the hosts very friendly and kind.

This was the nicest place we've ever stayed! The service was absolutely incredible. Definitely take your time here and enjoy the breakfast. Unfortunately we were in a rush to leave to make it to our whale watching tour, but the food was great and our hosts were so kind and informative.

Nous avons passé plusieurs magnifiques journées au Fiddle and the Sea et on a eut la chance de rencontrer Alain et Denise. L'endroit est paradisiaque, près de la nature, de la Cabot trail et des plus beaux paysages au Canada. La nourriture est plus qu'excellente, chaque détail est pris en considération. Tout est bien pensé. Les chambres sont impeccables. Clairement, Alain et Denise ont à cœur le souci du détail. Finalement, la cerise sur le sundae, Alain nous a impressionné par sa grande connaissance historique des lieu, il nous a fait découvrir le côté "local" des danses folkloriques traditionnelle.

What a wonderful little bed and breakfast in the beautiful Port Hood area. Incredibly friendly hosts and very delicious breakfast, different every day. During the meal there are excursion tips and maybe even a violin concert from the hostel father. I will definitely come back again, then maybe I'll bring a cello. ;-)

Everything is great about this place be it rooms, location, cleanliness! We stayed for 1 night. The owners are super nice. Also enjoyed live fiddle music while having breakfast and history about the place. Overall great place to stay with family or as a couple or solo. 5 mins walk from a very nice beach! Definitely recommend staying here. Thank you!

Arriving at the motel late at 8pm to see the Skyline, I was nervous at first because the owner and the lady were a bit blunt, but the breakfast the next day was excellent and the man's history of the Nova Scotia region focused on this area. The violin performance that accompanied the explanation of the tourist attraction was very impressive. The view from the hotel through the window is also a bonus.
