Excellent food, reasonable prices. Two thumbs up for the Philly cheese and the lobster club!

Great service, we had three different loobster dishes. All three were super tasty. We would definitely come again!

Fantastic food! Had dinner here for the first time on our way back from Peggy's Point Lighthouse. So happy we stopped in (party of 3). Had the fish and chips (tartar sauce was heavy on the mayo) Philly cheesesteak with fish chowder (delicious chowder!), And fish cakes and fries (fish cakes were mild in taste but paired amazing with the chow chow).
Had to wait a bit to get some help from a server at the start, but good service otherwise! Gorgeous out as dawn was beginning and weather her was perfect on the patio. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately nothing exciting at this restaurant. Everything was underwhelming.

They could have made the lobster roll better just by changing the bread. The lobster wasn’t really tasty. And our scallops were wayyy over cooked, so it was chewy and it did not taste good with sweet chilli sauce.
Our chowder was also full of potato and no seafood. The best thing was the fries…
Maybe we orders the wrong thing but nothing we ordered was worth the price.

Highly recommend the lobster club sandwich. The lobster was so fresh I had to eat it separate.

The food was amazing. We had a platter for 2 and it was loaded with fish, shrimp, scallops. Couldn't beat the price and the service was outstanding. We will return on our next vacation.

No issue allowing our small dog to sit under our table on the patio. Excellent food, friendly staff.

Came here during the summer after I visited Peggy's Cove. The service was quick and efficient, the staff was very friendly and the food tasted fresh! I got their philly steak w/ rice and it was delicious. Would recommend coming here to try their food!

Great seaside stop on the Peggys Cove loop. Best know for their lobster rolls. Nice view of the water from the deck in the summer. Ample parking. Very busy in the summer season.

Everybody loved their meals. My husband and I loved our seafood chowder with a delicious fresh biscuit. Small quaint restaurant. Fresh seafood, and vegan fair for those who require that. Delicious falafel sandwich and fish and chips, great service we will return here!

Awesome place for great food. Appetizers Breaded Clams and Lobster stuffed mushrooms. Clam & Fries, Seafood Platter were all delicious.

The food here was SPECTACULAR! I had the club sandwich with fries and gravy on the side. That gravy was succulent. So darn good. My mom and daughter each had the lasagna and both complimented it strongly the whole time they ate. Dad had the fish cakes. He said they were ok but was expecting them homemade. The only one who didn’t seem to love his food as much as we all did. Service was super friendly as well. If we are ever in the area again we are SURE to stop in for another scrumptious meal. Thank you!

The fish and chips were the best I have ever had! My wife had the lobster? Stuffed mushroom caps and could not believe how flavorful they were.

This was our first experience eating here and definitely not our last.

Do yourselves a favor and check out the warm and friendly atmosphere and amazing fresh food.

Great little place but not open typical days of the week. First time were stopped in, they were closed. Nice place, staff and views of peace and tranquillity. Will definitely make an effort to come back

My husband and I stopped at this restaurant on our way from Peggy's cove to Lunenburg. Drive was gorgeous. This restaurant was so charming and the food was great. We both had the lobster roll. It's been a month and we still talk about how delicious that lunch was. Would definitely recommend. If we ever visit Nova Scotia again I will for sure go back to this place.

Went there during Thanksgiving holidays October 2022, ordered the Fish and Chips and Scallops (Not battered) and Onion Rings. Everything was cooked to perfection, the staff very friendly all utensils included. Was great!

Absolute terrible service, came inside and there was a staff member slumped in a seat practically laying down. Another person brought us our menus while yelling at the guy just put the menus down and didn't even say anything to us. And then sat there waiting and waiting.decided not even to bother staying. As a local I'm disappointed. And they can't even say they were under staffed, there was only 5 tables total if that.

Not too far from Peggy's cove is this place. If you want seafood you'll get it here. Simple comfort food and east coast hospitality. My kid is a picky eater but ate the fish cakes which was an unexpected surprise. Pan fried haddock and the seafood chowder was really good.

Did not even get to try the food.
Sat down and was handed menus without a word and then never saw a server again. Was not busy, 2 or 3 other tables. No drink order taken, wasn't even offered a highchair for our one year old. Got tired of waiting and walked out.

We had a great lunch here on the patio. Digby clams, mussels, seafood pasta and pan fried Haddock were all excellent. Will definitely return next time in area.

Great place to stop on a lazy weekend for lunch. The lobster club sandwich and the clam chowder, so very delicious.

Simply awful. We went there because of the reviews but the food was very poor quality, the dining room had a weird smell and the service awful. Forget about COVID protocols if you done there, the staff wears a mask half on half off and they take it off as soon as out of your sight, we ordered the lobster roll and my husband couldn't eat it due to the thick layer of butter they spread on it, it was revolting, the experience was unpleasant at best and it didn't come cheap! Avoid if you can.

I was gonna post pictures but. We ate it too fast lol. Myself and co ate the lobster club house I had the fries and they had the cup of chowder. Would recommend to anyone wanting an East coast diner feel. Great food, great service, and good times

Went for a drive came across the Finer Diner and dropped in for lunch. Food was great! Our server Rowan was excellent. We ordered the mussels, wings and poutine.the food was delicious except for the mussels which was very very salty. Otherwise great service and atmosphere

The food is good but the Seafood Chowder was not very hot and being in Nova Scotia Homemade fries would be alot better. They told me they concentrate on their seafood but need home fries with that. PEI isn’t far away. And the salt and pepper shakers are full of moisture and don’t work. Food is good though.

Very good food, and excellent service.
It is a little more expensive than expected, but the service may make that worth it for some.

While visiting Peggy's Cove, decided to eat at The Finer Diner. Had the seafood chowder (order a bowl rather than a cup you will not be disappointed), and fish cakes both were excellent! This restaurant checks all the boxes; tasty food, friendly & attentive service and good value. Great option if you want to avoid the bustling crowds near the tourist destination.

The hot turkey sandwich wasn't anything special. Tasted and looked like frozen fries, bagged gravy and pre processed turkey heated up on a griddle. Mask wearing rules were slack. No apologies from the server for a hair on my plate.

A little cool for outside and perhaps inside. BUT.the food was excellent (chowder, fish and chips and fish cakes with sweet potato fries). The service was great too. We will go back without a doubt.

Really ace lobster roll. Though I only noticed when I left that the sign says home of the lobster club.

I had the cheese burger with bacon and it was delicious. My wife had the lobster roll and loved it. Service was good and staff very friendly. Price point was spot on. Highly recommend.

Not the 1st time stopping here. Food is always awesome. Their battered fish and chips is delish. The batter is light and not "cakey" as served in other locations.

Very quick service and friendly servers. The food tastes great. I especially recommend their desserts, the pie was fantastic.

Really enjoyed their fresh Atlantic Salmon Eggs Benny for Sun breakfast! Great way to set the scene for a hike around Peggy's Cove:)

When I was a kid and went to the Maritimes with my family, I remember the best food I remembered were from these little quaint diners along the way to our destinations so this time I went looking for one. So this time, we went looking for one and landed at the Finer Diner and could not be happier. We were amazed with the quality of the food - My wife had the Lobster Roll (Loaded with Lobster) and I had the Seafood platter - both were home runs! Its location is right off a main road driving along the coast - plenty of parking, awesome servers and incredible food! Will return next trip!

Delicious fried fish! My friend had the fish cakes and they were phenomenal and my best friend had the burger witch was fabulous.the waiter was sweet and accommodating and we left full and satisfied!

A few friends and I visited here yesterday, after someone said how delicious the food was. They did not disappoint. We ordered a few apps, and each had a main, the food was amazing, we had no complaints at all. The server was awesome, he was so polite and welcoming. I will definitely return, and spread the word about this wonderful establishment. Thanks for the great dining experience. 5+
