Great experience: Shayla was kind, helpful, and knew exactly what I needed to do with my hair when I described to her what I was looking for. She completely fixed a disaster of a haircut from a different salon, and I'm in love with the results. A true expert in her field!

The Finish Line is the absolute best Beauty Salon I have ever had the pleasure to frequent. I lived in the Halifax/Dartmouth area for many years and had many experiences, not all good.
Upon moving to the South Shore I had to find a Hairdresser, stressful!
I was lucky to find The Finish Line and Sylvia Ali as my Hair Stylist. The experience from the moment you arrive until you leave relaxed and happy, is a fantastic.
It is like going to a friend's home where you receive expert advise and are treated royally. Sylvia and her staff are amazing. I highly recommend

I completely agree with all of these positive reviews! After reading other comments, I reached out online to see if I could get an appointment at the Finish Line. I’m from out of town, so I was delighted when half an hour after my inquiry I had a callback and a next day appointment!

I needed a colour correction and Sylvia listened carefully to what I was hoping to accomplish. She then worked skillfully and creatively to transform a poorly done previous colour into an artful blending of colour that is just PERFECT. The head massage during the shampoo and the massage chair while waiting for the colour to develop were wonderful added touches to make this a great experience.

Both Sylvia and Shayla were welcoming, Covid-conscientious, friendly and professional.

I would highly recommend this salon!

I am honestly blown away.

I have been dealing with hair issues off, and on for years. I have tried every drugstore, and natural hair products I could find. I was getting a lot of hair breakage, fall, and damage. I called the salon, and someone talked with me. They had me come into the salon, gave me their time, and help select products that were right for me. The Manager met with me, and did not push products on me. I felt heard, and like my issues mattered. Tonight I washed my hair, and I did not have barely any breakage. I left the salon with a lot of advice, but so much peace of mind. My hair has never looked this good, and that is just with one wash.

I will never go anywhere else again. If you are considering this salon, you won't be disappointed. They are friendly, and know what they are doing. The salon also carries a wide range of products, for any issue you may need help with.
