The Forty Horizon Getaway

We stayed at the San Adaleida Luxury Lake House and highly recommend to others! Everything was very clean and the attention to detail was noted, even the remote controls lined up on the side table. The hot tub and view were amazing, pictures do not do it justice! Finally, Christoph went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Thank you again for everything, and can't recommend this place enough!

Our stay at The Forty Horizon was amazing. The cottage was very clean, modern, and had everything we needed! Christof was more than accommodating, proving us with an early check in. The hot tub was clean, and a great addition to our stay. Nothing but good things to say about this get away!

We have been travelling around the province of Nova Scotia for the past 5 years trying to find the perfect spot to vacation. Well we found it at The Forty Horizon Getaway. The atmosphere is tranquil and just 5 feet from the lake. The private hot tub is luxurious, the interior is super clean and modern with a very comfortable king size bed and we appreciated the privacy of our own fire pit. They had a beautiful bottle of wine and chocolates waiting and they made you feel like family. It was definitely a 5 ️️️️️ experience. It is the beginning a long relationship for us and we can’t wait to go back.

I love love love this place ️. It's my second time, first was with friends, second with my fiance. Both times were amazing. The night sky was spectacular while relaxing in the hottub, I felt like I was in heaven. Christoph had everything we needed there along with a nice cold bottle of champagne, as a thank you. We were able to enjoy a nice evening as well as a decent sleep, We didn't have to rush out. We cooked a big brunch, made a nice hot cup of coffee and then jumped in the hottub one last time before we left. I give this 17 stars. We will most deff be back again. This place is the most relaxing place I have been! It is super clean, friendly staff, absolutely breathtaking, and definitely an authentic experience. A nice touch too was that we were greeted with chocolates and a bottle of nice wine. A must do experience! We also brought our two children there and they loved it! It was a one of a kind experience.

Our stay at this beautiful cottage was amazing. Fantastic view on the lake while sitting in the hottub was exactly what I needed. Very clean and well maintained. Most definitely will be booking at this property in the future!

Incredible one-night stay in February! Hot tub, sauna and fire pit were so comforting. All kinds of board games, toys for kids, etc.was a really nice touch. All sorts of dishes and cutlery for cooking. Comfy bed. Extremely quiet location! Host was very professional.

You’ve gotta stay here! This cottage is perfect! From the moment you drive up and open the door you can feel the stress melt away. Everything was very clean and the woodwork throughout is gorgeous. Outside is a beautiful hot tub that is as close as possible to the lake! We will definitely be coming back for another stay!
