The worst beef and broccoli I've ever had. The lo mein is decent but the vegetables are better than anything. I don't typically write reviews but after I was told 6.99 for delivery and to have sub par food delivered when the advertised charge is $4.99 I don't comprehend that. I hope the food gets better, as the service was excellent

Probably the best “Chinese” food I have ever had. It was fresh, tasty, and excellent portions for the price you pay. Their wonton soup is phenomenal.

I'm rating after several visits we tried about 11 different dishes all are exceeding our expectations.

So good! We ordered through skip the dishes, and our order was exactly what we asked for, it was delicious and they even punctured the top of the boxes, so our chicken balls and wontons weren't soggy. We will eat here everytime we are in Halifax

Very friendly staff and good service. So many items on the menu to choose from including gluten free options. They have large seating as well as booth seating. Their portions are very big.

Best damn Chinese food I’ve had in 59 yrs. Portion size was amazingly large for a combo. Everything tasted so “fresh”. It arrived hot. My friend is new to your area & was recently introduced to your food. Yummy.

There are so many Chinese restaurants in Halifax but most of them sucks. If you are looking for the authentic Chinese food (good value, excellent taste, 5 stars services) I would recommend Fans (if you live in Dartmouth) or Golden for fortune (if you are from Halifax)

Quick and tasty Chinese food at a price that won’t break the bank. Always hot and fresh and ready on time.

It had a much different taste than regular Chinese food, overall very enjoyable.
The egg roll I had was not very good, not sure what was in it but it didn’t taste good and I only had the one bite.

Great food - had a couple of combos and shirt ribs - all were very tasty, and large portions. Service was fast and pleasant. We'll be back!

Large portions for reasonable prices. The rice, spring rolls and beef + veggies are very good. Lemon chicken (when fresh) is tasty, but has been dry a time or two (like it was reheated).

One pet peeve: They charge extra for house made plum sauce with take out, which is not something I've ever had to pay for at other chinese restaurants considering I'm a paying customer just like those dining in.

I'm conflicted. I waited to try this place a few times before posting a review, but this restaurant is simply inconsistent. I had it once and it was okay, second time was very good, and third time was less than acceptable.

So where is the problem? First a possitive.

The price is right. For what you get, the price is down right cheap. By that I talk about quantity, not quality.

My go to with this kind of restaurant is chicken fried rice, general tao, and bbq pork. I have also ordered spare ribs, and sweet and sour chicken balls from there. Ae well as chow mein.

You get a mountain of food.

Waiting for the but? Here it is.

The food is dried out. Not like overcooked, but more like cooked, left out, and reheated at least once. If not for sauces, this would be dehydrated food.

I want to give this place a 3, but I keep finding ways to talk myself out of it. With that being the case, the extra star seems trivial. The bottom line is it's not great.

In a city with many other Chinese options, as well as Thai, Japanese, Lebonese (See my Lazeezo review), Indian, the list goes on. There is no excuse for mediocrity in lieu of such competition. Nor is there any excuse for having to settle for eating so-so food.

So I was out and about doing my daily things and I stumbled upon this restaurant. It amazes me because it’s so clean! The food tastes amazing, and huge portion sizes for the extremely reasonable prices. Delicious and family friendly. What more could you ask for?

Super clean cheerful restaurant. Really nice staff. Food is traditional Chinese-Canadian, but seems light and fresh with good portion sizes.

By far one of the best restaurants to visit. Family friendly and approachable staff. It’s an extremely comfortable environment as well as an extremely diverse menu, ranging from chicken wings to veggie dishes to seafood. Amazing tastes and flavours!

By far the worst Canadian-chineese food I have ever had. Chiken was way overcooked and dry. Sauces had no flavour. Fried rice was just steamed rice with soy sauce.

Food is excellent. Is the closest I have found to Chinese food similar to Venezuelans Chinese restaurants.
