Meaghan and her team at the Halifax Club made our wedding day as magical and stress free as possible! Beautiful venue with above and beyond staff. Amazing food and great drinks all night. We can’t speak highly enough about this wedding venue! Excellent communication and responsiveness during the leading up to the big day, everything was so well organized

My husband and I held a large welcome party (approx. 110 guests) the night before our wedding at The Halifax Club. Meaghan was so easy to coordinate with leading up to the event on the logistics, decor, food, drinks, etc. The event was executed perfectly with no issues and the food was delicious. Just had my wedding here at the Halifax Club, and the experience was amazing. The fact that the space allows for all wedding day events to occur in one building made the day flow really easily and seamlessly. We were allowed to bring in our dog for the ceremony which really made the day special.
Meaghan was fantastic to work with. We’ve been joking that it should be illegal to have such a stress free wedding experience. Meaghan has so much knowledge which helped take a lot of pressure from us and she was always accessible to ask questions to. She had ideas we had never considered before which ended up being some of the best choices of the wedding.
The rest of the staff at the Halifax Club were incredible. They are all highly experienced and knew what they’re doing. The kitchen put out some of the best food we’ve ever had, the service staff including bartenders were attentive and quick. They worked with our custom cocktails so well and were able to make them quickly for our guests. One part of the evening that really stood out for us and showed us how much the staff cared for us was that when the late night snacks came out (10 pm), a member of the service staff made a plate for myself and my spouse to ensure we got something to eat while dancing and mingling.
The Halifax Club is gorgeous on its own, and then on top of the timeless elegance of the physical space they also have their own in house decor to offer. They set up the entire venue in the most romantic way that really made the venue and the reason we were all there shine. Not having to coordinate with another vendor for decor just made the day all that much more easier on us. We’re so grateful for that.
From the first contact reaching out to find out more about the venue to picking up our items the day after the wedding our experience has been nothing but amazing, supported and cared for. We cannot recommend Halifax Club enough.

After one visit it felt like we were among friends. Had a delightful lunch, tour and chat at the Club while visiting Halifax and rest of Nova Scotia on our vacation from Florida’s heat. The Club is in the center of the waterfront district. Super centrally located. The staff was incredibly cordial. Kudos to Jennifer Campbell who kept in touch with us before our visit and, especially Club Manager Meghann McDonald who made our visit delightful. The Club has a wonderful history and Meghann, a native Haligonian (I think I got that right), regaled us with stories that don’t appear in the tour books including the Club’s brush with disaster from the 1917 Great Explosion and Halifax’s mysterious underground tunnels. Our meal was superbly prepared and presented. We can’t say enough about The Halifax Club and their staff. We’ll be back!

We celebrated our daughter’s wedding at the Halifax Club last weekend and it was an outstanding event thanks to Meaghan and the whole team. Given that Hurricane Lee hit us just the day before, we had no idea what we were going to be in for. Kind, courteous staff that were on top of every detail from start to finish is what we received. Several guests also commented to us on how beautiful and ideal this venue was for the occasion. It was truly the most perfect day. Thank you Halifax Club team!

It was a great experience was there for a book signing and it was the perfect place for it.

We had our team meeting and lunch there. It was perfect. We were treated like royalty in a place that exudes charm. I'm glad I'm a member.

My wife and I have been to the Halifax before. We are members of the Moncton Club and have reciprocal membership privileges. Our hotel was very close by so around 3: 30 pm on Friday afternoon we dropped by. The door was locked and there were no lights on. We could not understand why a Club like this would close Friday at 5: 00 anyway. Our Club in Moncton closes at 8: 00 and often later as our dining room is open again. Guess the website is out of date!

Was here celebrating my friends wedding and they took care of everything! Venue was gorgeous and had so much character, the staff were incredible and Megan the head coordinator was the best! The food was actually incredible I had the beef and wow I could have eaten 5 of those plates! Highly recommend!
