The Halifax Ghost Walk

Very entertaining, thank you Dusty the tour is awesome. I love how you play your stories and not simply narrate them. I strongly recommend this tour!

A really great way to learn a little bit about Halifax, while also being entertained! Dusty is a great storyteller and remained very engaging through the entire time of the tour. There was a bit less walking and more standing than I anticipated, but as long as you dress for the weather, this isn't an issue!

Highly recommend making time to go on this Ghost Walk. Dusty is such an animated and knowledgeable speaker. He makes you feel you are right there. My whole family loved it!

If you’re looking for a ghost tour, i recommend the lunenburg location, if you’re just looking for some history about halifax this is the tour for you.the group meets near the bottom of citadel hill and walks to the top for a 10 minute story, there is no actual entry into the citadel, which is upsetting.if this were a history tour it would definitely be a 5 star, however it’s labeled as a ghost tour, the story telling is great, but definitely seemed more geared towards kids. There was a lot of advertising for local businesses to go see the haunting there, rather than going in depth about them on the tour.

In one word, Awesome! Me and my friend were a part of a 15 people group, and we were both delighted. One does not have to be into history to enjoy the stories. Dusty has an amazing theatrical skill, and he managed to bring his stories to life, so much I had goosebumps here and there. To me the walk itself wasn't challenging, as most of it is downhill. In addition to being entertaining, the tour is very educating, and we've learned a bit more about Halifax's past. Especially recommended for people who like folklore and spooky stories.

Dusty is a spectacular storyteller. Yes, the group was a bit large. And the stops can be a bit awkward. However, it's completely worth it!

Think of it as a small nuisance to experience a master at his craft. Highly recommend to other history and ghost enthusiasts.

Dusty was very entertaining and professional. Me and my mother have been waiting to take this tour and we weren’t disappointed.

Checked the website before going to meet them at the clocktower and it said no reservation required. We got there and the guide rejected us saying its fully booked even though there was no reservation button on the website. We tried calling them and they did not answer either, before 7pm and after we got rejected. Very unprofessional.

Great guide! Hard to hear at some points but there was a lot going on. First story could have been told at the clock without going up the hill.

If you’re into history or fresh air around downtown hfx, this is great. Don’t expect to be scared or spooked though. Group size kinda big to keep track of what’s going on.

This was a great tour! It was a fascinating mix of Halifax history and ghost tales. Its very family friendly, not overly scary but definitely interesting. Dusty is clearly very passionate about storytelling - he was engaging and kept the attention of the 30 people in the group, which I'm sure is no small feat.

I would highly recommend taking this tour. Even if you don't believe ghosts, it's a great way to visit some local landmarks that you might otherwise just walk by, and to learn about Halifax's history with a very informative guide!

Dusty is great, he mixes mystery, history, and tales were well. He has great presence and shows you parts of the town at night that you would have just walked by. Recommend!

I felt the group was too large at about 50 people. This didn't make it feel like as engaging of an experience. In addition, we had to spread out in a big circle given the huge group size so it made it difficult to hear especially given the streets were noisy. I also felt the locations chosen to tell the stories were not overly spooky. The ghost teller didn't really dress up as a character so it felt like just an ordinary person was telling you a story.
